Pope Francis has spoken out against the practice of teaching children that they can choose their own sex, saying it is a sin against God’s creation. During a meeting with Polish bishops on the World Youth Day, Pope Francis said there are powerful institutions and countries paying to have the “gender theory” taught in schools. The pontiff suggested that this teaching stems from the lack of appreciation for the dignity that God has bestowed upon the human race, the Catholic Herald details. “Today, children are taught this at school: that everyone can choose their own sex. And why do they teach this?
