Firstly, let’s analyze the video footage from the dash camera and the video footage shot from the helicopter flying above the scene. In the dash camera footage, Crutcher is shown approaching the driver’s side of the SUV, then more officers walk towards him. Crutcher appears to lower his hands and place them on the vehicle. The officers surround Crutcher and he suddenly drops to the ground.
