The scientists cloned Mewtwo from a Pokémon thought to be extinct, Mew. After finding out that he is just an experiment, an enraged Mewtwo uses his psychic powers to destroy the lab and kill the scientists who created him. Mewtwo then vows to rule all humans and the Pokémon that serve them. He rebuilds the island in which the lab was located on and send invitations to the world’s leading Pokémon trainers. Ten-year-old Ash Ketchum receives an invitation and takes his friends Brock and Misty along on his journey to New Island. Along the way, the trio encounters other Pokémon trainers, the infamous Team Rocket, and a giant storm created by Mewtwo to ensure that only the best trainers can reach his island. Upon reaching the island, Mewtwo reveals that he brought the world’s strongest trainers to his island so he can clone their Pokémon and use them as an army to rule the world. The trainers are then one by one defeated by Mewtwo who captures and clones every Pokémon on the island. Ash destroys the cloning machine and frees the Pokémon who wind up battling their own clones as Mew reveals itself and starts battling Mewtwo. After realizing the senselessness of the fighting, Ash hurls himself between the two psychic blasts of Mew and Mewtwo to try to stop the fighting. A major message from this …show more content…

The study consisted of 93 children and the children’s age ranked from 6.9 – 11.1 years and there was a total of 45 males and 48 females (Malti, 2006). The experiment took place in two classrooms. One that was a quiet room separated from everyone and the other room was filled with children and the children’s behavior was examined quasi-experimentally (Malti, 2006). Parents were also sent questionnaires involving their child’s behavior. The independent variables were the rooms the children were placed in and the dependent variables was the children’s behavior. In the questionnaire, the parents were required to explain their child’s aggression at home. In the first room, the children were tested on a condensed version of Damon and Hart’s semi-structured interview of self-understanding (Malti, 2006). The children would answer questions on how they viewed themselves. In the final room, two children were placed together and asked to complete a task, whether the children wanted to complete the task together or alone was the decision of the children (Malti, 2006). This would show how well the children could work together or if they preferred work by themselves.
