Columbus Municipal School District Superintendent Philip Hickman
An experienced school administrator, Philip Hickman holds a doctor of education with a concentration in educational leadership and an educational specialist degree in administration and superintendency from Saint Louis University in Missouri. He also earned a master certification of educational administration from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville and a master of education, a bachelor of arts in psychology, and an educational specialist degree in school psychology at the University of Missouri in Columbia. Over the course of his career, Philip Hickman has also attended multiple postgraduate educational programs such as the Mississippi Superintendent Academy and the
Prior to coming to Hoke County, Dr. Williamson had already served in a plethora of diverse roles in his educational career (e.g., teacher, assistant principal, vocational-educational director, principal, director of secondary and middle school education, director of personnel, associate superintendent, and a boys and girls basketball coach), therefore becoming a superintendent was inevitable; the school board knew he could advance the Hoke County’s School System, however the “key” was: he was a willing vessel.
This is one in an arrangement on professions in science, innovation, designing and arithmetic made conceivable with liberal backing from Alcoa Foundation. Jerry Husak never anticipated that would be an athletic coach, not to mention a reptile mentor. Yet he's turn into a specialist at getting the little reptiles to race on a treadmill. His mystery? Every so often, tenderly nudge their tails or back legs with a paintbrush. Husak is a scholar at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. Despite the fact that he calls his subjects "Olympic reptiles," he's not preparing them for rivalry. Rather, their preparation is offering his group some assistance with learning about the impacts of activity in all creatures including individuals.
Realism, Naturalism, and Regionalism are just a few examples of the many styles of writing that exist. Each style of writing deals with a specific time period. Stephen Crane’s “The Open Boat”, Henry James’s “Daisy Miller”, and Mary E Wilkins Freeman’s “The Revolt of Mother” are just a few examples of the literary works that represent these time periods. These literary works are perfect examples of the specific time periods each writing style was popular among certain authors. These stories allow readers to compare the modern times that we live in currently to the period these authors were in. They also allow the reader to branch out and be different.
Dr. David Bolton has had an interesting spring, to say the least. He has served in the capacity of the Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Education in Central Bucks for two years. At the end of Dr. Bolton’s second year, the retiring Superintendent planned to retire officially on May 30, 2016 but in a series of events involving new School Board members, he was asked to clean out his office on Monday, May 9, 2016. The Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Education also retired early in March of 2016, leaving Dr. Bolton currently with the title of Substitute Superintendent until a new Superintendent begins on June 6, 2016. Dr. Bolton has been completing tasks since March as Elementary and Secondary Assistant Superintendents and Substitute Superintendent all at once. My original interview was scheduled with the outgoing superintendent during the week of his departure. In light of this complication, Dr. Bolton was gracious enough to answer my questions in an email but I was unable to interview him in person or on the phone due to his busy schedule.
It is with great enthusiasm that I recommend Jerry Standifer for the Assistant Superintendent position at West Fargo Public Schools. In my first week of employment at West Fargo Public Schools, Mr. Standifer scheduled a luncheon meeting to discuss his position as AVID Coordinator and the specific goals within the program to support our students in preparing them for post-secondary and their future careers. I was very impressed with the passion he demonstrated for students and their learning. My respect for Mr. Standifer’s leadership skills continued to soar over the past five years working closely with him on our Administrative Leadership Team and as the district coordinator for our AVID program.
When dealing with larger school districts, there are several different positions in which play vital roles in the success of the school ‘s in the county. Deputy superintendent, chief financial officers, executive directors, and chief technology officer, are the crucial four. From there smaller roles are delegated to address issues based on needs and situations that may happen with schools, students teachers and
James Hickman was always destined for greatness, but that moment was yet to reveal itself in his future. From age 5 to 7 James life was rocky, he would soon find himself being transferred in and out of4 mental institutions, 5 different group homes, 17 times in detention centers and eventually St. Charles juvenile prison at the age of 13. James recalls one incident where he was given a powerful drug called ‘Thioridazine, Mellaril and other strong drugs in which he couldn’t move, talk, scream or cry “all I could do was lay there and wait for the drugs to wear off.” James Hickman beat the odds for the future that was being laid out in front of him by the system, after severing ties with addiction and homelessness in 1990 thru 1996 James ended up serving time in Iowa State Prison in Fort Madison.
In being promoted to State Street Elementary Head Building Principal in 2016, Mr. Jacob Sholtis, a white male, has already demonstrated his ability to successfully lead a large suburban school building. At the age of 35, he is the youngest head building principal in the school district by around ten years. Moreover, he is a graduate of the neighboring school district Hanover Area. For this reason, he is a native of the Wyoming Valley community with an extensive background of the area.
What I have learned you say? I have learned so much at this school, more than I could’ve asked. Hickman Middle School is a special place, mainly because of the students and the teachers. Hickman is a small school, and the students are in the right mindset, a mindset to get to college and beyond. We see the examples of our teachers, and they encourage us to make ourselves better. I can’t think of a more fitter middle school that sends students into high school as rock stars. As for me, I’ve learned we need get ourselves to our potential by raising the bar, which is where teacher’s expertise is.
Resurrection Catholic High School is a small private school in the small town of Pascagoula, Mississippi. In total, the school has approximately two hundred and sixty students in grades seven through twelve. Because of its small size, one would think that Resurrection Catholic School would be easy to run, however, that is not the case. There are certainly difficulties that arise in maintaining a small private school. For instance, Resurrection Catholic School, unlike public schools, does not receive equivalent funds or financial support from the state. Therefore, the leader (principal) must have a strong passion for the school, strong leadership skills, and the ability to keep it running smoothly. Unfortunately, Resurrection Catholic School has a principal that lacks many vital leadership qualities and, as a result, the high school is losing its prestige as a college preparatory school. The diminishing reputation has a negative effect on both staff members and students, alike.
After Reformation period, the allegorical biblical interpretation was criticized and rejected by contemporary biblical interpretation theory, and a lot of Christian evangelical churches. However, as a long tradition stems from the early church, allegorical interpretation has never been disappeared; on the contrary, it was one the most important exegesis tradition in the history of Chinese Protestant Church. Many fundamentalist theologians and church leaders were influenced by it, while Jia Yuming is one of the representative figures. This paper attempts to explain the characteristic of Jia Yuming` s allegorical biblical interpretation, and to explore the contribution of his exegesis in Chinese Christian theology.
Like leadership turnover in other professions, turnover rates at more challenging schools are on the higher end of that spectrum (Beteille, Kalogrides and Loeb 2011, Boyd, et al. 2008, Clark, Martorell and Rockoff 2009). For instance, large, urban districts have similar turnover rates: Miami-Dade County Public Schools (MDCPS) is 22%, Milwaukee is 20%, San Francisco 26%, and New York City is 24% (Beteille, Kalogrides and Loeb 2011, Boyd, et al. 2008, Clark, Martorell and Rockoff 2009). However, within MDCPS, the turnover rate is higher for the district’s highest-poverty schools (28%), versus lowest-poverty schools (18%) (Beteille, Kalogrides and Loeb 2011). New York City school findings were similar (Clark, Martorell and Rockoff 2009). Low-performing, low-SES schools that lose an effective principal, often struggle due to having a replacement that is less-experienced and less-effective (Beteille, Kalogrides and Loeb 2011, Branch, Hanushek and Rivkin 2012).

Every school district has board meetings throughout the school year. Unfortunately, many parents, community members, & school personnel do not attend such important meetings because they don’t realize or understand the importance of such board meetings or how informative they can be.
