Humanity.
We are unique, or at least we'd like to believe that. Peyton saw it. She saw things that the human brain in this day and age would not be able to comprehend.
Aliens, the universe, life on other planets. We only dream of things like that.
Peyton never did. She never needed to dream, she already knew. She knew things that she never shared. She knew government secrets, she knew how people felt, their thoughts.
She knew infinitely more than she let on, that is, until he came along. It seemed like he knew what she was going to say before she would say it. She was the telepath. He wasn't. So how was he so perceptive?
It was a cold night in the middle of September. Peyton had just finished making her tea, when she heard the loudest noise

She held her hand out, eyeing him gently.
"Take my hand. I'm here to help." She said in his language.
She made a gesture he'd seen on his planet quite a few times. A hand gesture that simply meant that the person meant no harm. One person presses the side of their pointer finger to the middle of their forehead and pushes it towards the other person. A foreign gesture on Earth, so how did she know it?
He stared at her with wide eyes before hesitantly taking her hand. She knew that people on his planet didn't experience much physical contact. Like most Earthly activities and object, it was unnecessary. The planet only did what was necessary.
She helped pull him up, ignoring the shouts of the drunken neighbors. "Come inside." She said gently.
He nodded, immediately letting go of her hand and shivering. She led him inside, shutting the door behind her. She placed her hands gently on his chest, making him sit down. She walked away, and turned back when she saw how frightened he looked.
"I'm helping you." She

She walked back over. She cleaned the cuts on his face, gently gripping his chin to hold him still.
He couldn’t fathom what to say. "How?" Was all he managed to say.
She shrugged, "I'm sorry that I have to touch you, I'm almost done." she said.
He eyed her carefully, taking in her appearance. She looked incredibly healthy, her skin was clear and glowing. On his planet she wouldn’t have any trouble finding someone to mate with. Her children would no doubt be healthy as well. His planet knew nothing of beauty, he hadn’t known there was a word for what he thought of
"Make yourself comfortable. And I will go to my place." The guy told her and heading for the door, he left the room.
and her ability to read the signals before her competitors did. The most significant recent signal had been
“Yes, I’m here.” You placed your hands with his, squeezing it gently to reassure him.
By her being able to differentiate between the two emotions, we, as the audience were able to connect with DeGeneres on another
She nodded, gripped his hand, and turned her head back toward the carnage, unable to take her eyes
He swept her chin into his hand and turned her to face him. In a rich, smooth voice he said to her, “Stop it Nessa. You know it kills me to see you in tears.”
Aniwen gave him a sympathetic smile and waved a hand at him, hoping that she didn't get him in too
He has a small package in his hands and without a word he extended the package to her. She begins to grab the package and slightly touches his cold and dirty hand, chills run down her entire body and she felt a sudden fear.
“Let me go!” She yanked her arm away from him and rubbed it, “I told you and mom I didn’t want to be here, and you made me go anyway.” She started to walk away
"That's okay, you're unlike any girl I've met before." He maintained eye contact, and nodded to affirm the truth of his words as her slim arms moved back around him, and his larger, more muscular ones, embraced her, and his barrel chest pressed to her body. A light kiss to the top of her head, and his lips parted to whisper a sweet nothing, just as another voice cut through the night air. A voice he heard every day of his life, and that he'd recognised anywhere. He didn't have to turn to see who it was before he issued his threat about harming him.
She shivered in his embrace, one hand coming up to cup his neck as she allowed her lips to roam his heated skin. Her other hand ran along one of the arms wrapped around her lythe frame. As if the sensuality of touch had become to much to resist. Despite the fact that she was just beginning to truly understand that.
When She finally began her speech I was shocked. In the movie she is portrayed to be this woman who seems to be very autistic and who cries over her cows and that’s what I was expecting from her. There is so much more to her than that though, she’s amazing and so very smart. My mind was blown right away. She spoke about how sees thing and how much bigger her visual cortex is compared
Her sharp, tight smile could be read from a quick glance, and always proved kind, where we could read what she was thinking through her face.
He sat, allowing her to dig her fingers deep into his flesh. Samantha stared into the distance, speaking to Max, yet also reassuring herself.
We’re collectively on this planet, and the course it’s headed on isn’t sustainable . Looking up, many people still think the sky is the limit and what exists after it would be the heavens. Others want concrete proof and aren’t satisfied information. We all have distinctive means of interpretation, but the universal one we can’t neglect is our sense of sight. The quote ‘’seeing is believing’’ holds strong because while we’re all different we’re constructed the same.
