Persuasive Letter To Wao

The GAO received a voicemail from Charles Delarue this morning. The GAO is aware that Mr. Delarue has had multiple contacts in both Clackamas and Multnomah county trying to access services, however I am reaching out to you as it appears he is in the Clackamas area. In his voicemail, he informed us that phone will be shut off tomorrow night, 11/24/17, as he does not have money to pay for his phone bill. Mr. Delarue, states that without his phone, and access to services he will die.

I genuinely appreciate you addressing your concern about the owls. I am writing this letter on behalf of cohort 3. We are not sure if you are aware of the new changes that were brought to us on August 31, 2015 in regards to Hesi. We were given a list of case studies, reviews, quizzes, and practice quizzes from classes that were taken prior to the transition to Hesi that must be completed prior to our critical care course, which is in November.

A career in healthcare has always been an interest of mine. Making a difference is someone?s health was a very important aspect of my career choice. Dental Hygiene has been top of the list since I was a younger child. I was one of those children who loved going to the dentist. I was always amazed by what was going on in the dentist office whether it be the dentist, dental hygienist, or dental assistant. Becoming a young adult and noticing the appearance of others, the smile was and still is the first thing I notice on another individual. Everyone does not have the beautiful smile that society expects; so being the one to improve that and make a difference I feel is an awesome career choice.

When I was younger I wanted to be a nurse, as I grew up my career choices changed based on different situations. I was a nursing major my first years of college. After witnessing different situations in life and job shadowing a nurse, I decided I wanted to be the person the patient talked to and confided in. I change my major to psychology in hopes of becoming a counselor. I received my bachelors in psychology then realized that it was not possible to become a counselor without a master's degree. So now I am in the process of finding another career that I would love. Medical billing and coding allows me to stay within the health field and gives me experience in a medical setting. Medical billing and coding is a well-paying entry level job.

One of the cool parts of the medical field is the diversity. There are so many different choices and careers a person can branch off into. Take a look at the nursing field alone. There are so many specialties within nursing to take. It's really interesting to see how a person can easily customize their medical career to their personality and personal goals.

I made the decision to join the health care field based on my own desire, love of the people that live and thrive around me, and to be a role model for my daughter. I feel it is important to have a goal in life, and it is important to me to show my daughter the value of goals, and achieving them as well. I love meeting new people, and being able to lend a helping hand in any way I possibly can. What better way to help the general population then to have a profession in the health care industry.

Yesterday I have a discussion with Alaina Preddie. She told me that she has asked Dr. Marras directly on the possibility to attend Dr. Marras’ practicum class. According to Preddie, Dr. Marras will not give us permission to attend to his class, if we have not taken his reading class. Based on that, do I also need to directly ask to Dr. Marras about this inquiry?

I'm emailing you on behalf of the Voyager Team. We understand that Seth is diagnosed with ADD and taking medications at home, but we are concerned as a term with his behavior in class and in the hall. We are hoping that you can help us by talking to Seth about his behavior.

My clinical experience was amazing. I got to see and learn many new procedures. I learned that nurses need to have many personal traits. They needed to be patience, friendly, positive, good listener, and more. These are many traits that a nurse should have. The nurses taught me, how to be patience and friendly with patients that are not cooperating or being friendly. I was able to learn how to take vital signs using a machine. In addition, I learned many different medications that helps and comforts the patient.
