Then, I started working out and my life changed, I lost 60 pounds, felt happy about myself and how I look, all the stress I had from classes which anyone who takes calculus, computer classes know how hard they can be, it just decreased and I could feel like everything is going to be fine at the end, just have to try harder and that is it. Being active and going to the gym has a lot of good effects on the daily life and as shown in (Figure 1) above, not working out results in at least 300,000 death

With this being said, teens are supposed to get an hour of exercise in everyday to maintain a healthy body. By the way teens live now, there are no possible ways for them to put in the amount of exercise needed. In this situation, the lifestyle teens live now only cause for one benefit, obesity. Teens rather lay in bed eating than going out for a run. In a similar matter, body health is also as equally important as physical health. Whether you're moving down the street or across the country, moving can be stressful and frustrating. You have to go through your belongings and decide what's going and what's staying or being thrown out. You have to pack. And then there's the small matter of actually moving everything from point A to point B. Unless you have a small army of friends and family or are literally only moving a few suitcases' worth of items, it's worth it to consider hiring professional movers to do the heavy lifting. Your health, your belongings, and your friends and family will thank you.

If granted the opportunity to live in a Living & Learning Community my group and I would participate heavily in the community, carrying out our proposed ideas frequently. My group and I, propose “Wellness Through Athletics”. Since all eight members are not only associated with sports, but also have grown up personally around kids with special needs, we all thought it would be a great idea to pair the two together. We plan to not only visit elementary schools and play sports with the special need kids, but also teach them the values of sports and why it is so special and important to be a part of them. We would also if willing, be able to host a whiffle-ball event at Cornell College, pairing our own sport that we all love with something else

Despite the physical and emotional benefits of moderate physical activity, most Americans are not getting enough exercise to sustain healthy behavior and reduce their risks of illness. A lack of physical activity has been shown to be a risk factor for several conditions. Less active people tend to have a higher risk of cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, as well as feelings of anxiety and depression (Johns Hopkins Medicine, 2015). Studies have shown the physically inactive people have an increased risk of colon and breast cancer. One study showed a 40% decrease in cancer mortality in people who were physically active. Physical activity also prevents insulin resistance which is the underlying cause of type 2 diabetes. A lack of physical activity increases the loss of lean muscle tissue which in turn makes activities of dialing living such as dressing and bathing or even grocery shopping, much more difficult to perform. As we age out bones lose some strength and like muscles, require exercise to maintain their mineral content and strength. Being physically active also helps keep one’s immune system which helps ward off various illnesses and diseases (Rimmer, 2015).
