Do you like paying for things that don't affect you? That is what syrian refugees want us to do. They want people from other countries to pay for the syrian kids to get educated. I don’t think that people should have to donate through tax money. We shouldn't be forced to pay taxes for something that won't affect our country. One reason that people in the US and other countries is the fact that they will be forced to pay for it. With taxes every US citizen that can pay will have to pay taxes. If our tax money is going to something that is going to help syria and not our country people will be mad that they are being forced to pay for it. This is a fact because all able US citizens have to pay taxes. This is why money paying for their education

"The Cask of Amontillado" is one of Edgar Allan Poe's greatest stories. In this story Poe introduces two central characters and unfolds a tale of horror and perversion. Montresor, the narrator, and Fortunato, one of Montresor's friends, are doomed to the fate of their actions and will pay the price for their pride and jealousy. One pays the price with his life and the other pays the price with living with regret for the rest of his life. Poe uses mystery, irony, and imagery to create a horrifying, deceptive, and perverse story.
Imagine not being able to go to school because of a war or conflicts that happened years ago. Border countries of Syria are giving the students a chance to an education, but not with all the supplies needed. This isn’t exactly what the kids wanted so they are fleeing to Europe. Other places should open their schools to Syrian students, because they need to see what a exceptional education, with enough resources will do for them.
They want to be able to talk and express their political view without fear in their hearts. They are seeking for a free Syria and a better future for their next generation. They want Syria to be free of corruption. They are aiming for a government that saves their money instead of stealing it. They desire a regime that improves their life standard and sets everyone equal to one another. They wish for a government that provides the better education for their children. They want to make Syria proud of its children between other nations. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the opposite way. Syria is now a mass destruction. Every time I watch the news I start crying. I feel ashamed of myself not doing anything to help these refugees. It requires us years to build Syria again, but if we gather hand in hand we can make it happen. Every penny we donate counts. Why not donate at least a dollar a day and save a whole nation? This relies on our consciousness. Let us join together and give a hand to them. All of this count toward our good deeds and good deeds are always to be returned and
Because the Syrian civil war is one of the worst crisis’ in history with more than 22 thousand people killed and 11 million forced to flee.[i]
There are many moral reason America has to help the Syrian refugees. Niskanen Center.org stated, “ During World War II, the U.S. turned away Jews due to security concerns. We sent shiploads back to the camps because we were scared that Nazi spies
Can you imagine that your little town is being attacked or even a natural disaster may be occurring and you have nowhere to go? What would you do? How would you survive? You would have to flee your home away from the tragic disaster. You would have no place to call home and all you would have is the clothes on your back. Some in the process of leaving their town never get to see their family again and are lucky if they survive. This is why I believe that refugees should be allowed into the United States under certain conditions. These include having a positive background, being eligible for a job and respecting our nation as well as the people in it. As the US turns refugees away, thousands of lives are being taken away. We could easily help them by taking them into our country. Although some people that enter the country may commit crimes, that doesn’t mean we should turn all of them away. It would cause way more harm than good. Most crimes that happen in the United States are caused by the people that are US citizens rather than the refugees. All of these innocent lives are just being taken away and as many Americans sit back and do nothing about it. When we could be out there saving lives. Our country has to step in and do something about this serious situation. There are solutions we could use to solve these problems by making sure all people that enter this country are good at heart. Outside of very few exceptions our country is mainly made up of refugees and
America is the one of the most famous country in the world. Peoples from different countries visits and lives with their families. Eleven million Syrians have fled their homes since civil war broke out in 2011.Some of the syrian might be innocent and they have right to live their new life.Syria should not allowed to united states because they might harm or make other people's angry.Syria should be ban to come to america.
If America were controlled by savage religious terrorists who wanted the world to end, what would a person do? Of course, a person’s first thought would be to fight back, but what if the civilians could not do anything? What if the people who took over America were ruthless and anyone who did not pledge to their religion would have his head cut off? The next probably be to flee the country and go to a safe location. The concept to move would defiantly be put into action as thousands of people would flock to countries such as England, Australia, and France. The truth is currently twenty-seven republican American governors are strongly pushing executive orders saying no Syrian refugees can come to their states. These states include Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Massachusetts, and Texas, just to name a few (Panic). This is a bewildering order to push considering the majority of people in Syria just want to escape the tragedy they are experiencing back home. Because America is the home of the free, and throughout history, has become a beacon for refugees all over the world, all Americans officials should accept the Syrian refugees into America.
Especially if we can’t house them and allow them to work. This is similar to the Ebola outbreak during 2014, in terms of helping the Liberians, or not helping them. If we didn’t help out the ill Liberian people during the Ebola outbreak, we might not be on good terms with the country of Liberia. This would cause us to lose many from the disease, and we couldn’t be allies with the country of Liberia. Different countries have to stick together through tough times. Plus, We are all considered family, and family help one another out during dark and depressing times. In this case, the U.S needs to be the bigger person (or country in this case), and help out the younger siblings (Syrian refugees). America is considered as one of, if not, the most powerful country in the world, and we have the power to help anyone in need. If we don’t help out, it looks like we didn’t try, or that we didn’t care for the situation at hand. The reputation of the U.S could be ruined, if we don’t intervene and help out the refugees during this
Over 200,000 human beings have been killed. The life expectancy has been cut by 20 years. Syria has a population of 21 million, but over half of them have been displaced either in Syria or they left the country. (possibly just delete this: now 7.6 million Syrians have been displaced inside the country while 3.8 million have left the country.) A ridiculous amount of destruction has occurred in Syria that cannot be ignored. It is disheartening to think many Americans do not wish for Syrian refugees to come to the United States. Half of the refugees are children who have lost their family and home, but nevertheless a large portion of Americans are still trying to find excuses that allow them to disregard the morally correct thing to do. I will always stand by the side that believes children deserve the right to an education and a
Syrian refugees should not be allowed into the United States.we already have many immigrants coming in legally and illegally. The United States already has an overflow of the population and we still have problems that we have not fixed, so why should we fix the Syrian’s problem. We have no idea if the Syrians will attack us or not, once they get into our country, they will also have a possibility to take our jobs.
The current refugee crisis is a serious issue. There is no doubt about it. The problem is that there are a large number of refugees attempting to enter this country, so that they can corrupt it with their un-Australian nature. They are not, as Tony Abbott would say, on Team Australia.
to significantly expand our refugee targets and give more victims of war a safe haven in
I chose this topic because capital punishment is very controversial. On one hand, the criminal is being severed the punishment he or she served on someone else or he or she served on numerous other people. On the other hand, the criminal is confined to prison for the remainder of his or her life. It truly comes down to death or life in prison. I support the death penalty and it aligns with my beliefs and moral compass. With a law enforcement and military background, the general public is not exposed and has not witnessed the true evil that a human being can inflict on another person. Until someone interviews and sits down face to face with such a callous criminal, who has no regard or concern for human life, it could be hard for them to understand how the death penalty could be fitting for certain crimes. Criminals thrive on control and when they sentenced to death, that control is completely taken away. Another reason why I support the death penalty has to do with the fact that a criminal could receive a presidential pardon. For example, a criminal that is sentenced to life in prison and after serving twenty to thirty years could be released by a sitting president who is about to leave office. This power of pardon does not have to any basis of the criminal’s innocents or reason. Therefore, in my opinion, justice has not been served.
