Smack! Goes the ball after Grace Marker hits the ball and is about to get a home run. Beep beep beep! It’s 5:45 am Grace is getting ready for the day. Eeek! The sound of Graces bus stopping at her house to pick her up for school. This excellent student keeps all A’s and B’s, keeps up with responsibilities at home, and plays softball all at the same time.
Every morning Grace gets up around 5:45 am. Getting to school on time is very important for Graces grades. Every morning it’s the same routine wake up, make bed, shower get dressed, eat breakfast and catch the bus. When she gets to school she goes to her locker to get her supplies for 1st and 2nd period. Her day is very busy from 8:45 to 3:45. She does get time time at recess to hang out with her friends and boyfriend. Recess is a very fun and relaxing time for Grace it gives her time to calm down and get ready for the upcoming class.

She loves the sport of softball because it’s a great exercise and a good way to let out anger. I mean what’s a better way to let out anger than hit a softball that’s going 35 mph? She has played for about 3 years on a recreational team. Doing softball stretches when she gets home from school when it’s off season is very important so she doesn’t get out of shape. Having practice and homework on the same day must be hard I don’t know how she does
When you were ever bowling have you ever thought to yourself that maybe if you keep in mind of friction, acceleration, or mass. You would be a better player and have a better performance and maybe have a perfect game?
When kids play softball they don’t know about all of the strategies to play. The first one is learn how to “set up” batters. When hitting a ball you have to have a plan for every at bat. When you are running the bases you have to be aggressive. If you are not aggressive you can’t run very fast and you can’t go hard.
Baseball has always been America’s past time it drew men from all around to play a sport that was entertaining for men, women, and children of all ages. During WWII women came into the picture, men were not available to play baseball because they were at war. Women playing baseball was not a hot topic but soon increased in popularity after awhile. When the men came back from war the women baseball players had nothing to do, so they started their own sport, and along came softball. Baseball and softball, seemingly the same sport derived from the same origin, but different in so many ways.
It was a warm summer evening and I was on the ride to my softball practice with my mom. She helps out the coach when she can so she went to the field with me to get ready for practice. My entire team was pretty much there so I got my cleats on and started to warm up right away. After I was done warming up, I played catch with one of my teammates to loosen my arm.
The battle between sexes has been a lifelong battle both sexes are often fighting. One sex often tries to one-up the other. A great example of that is Baseball and Softball. Baseball and softball are both competitive sports for males and females at any age. If you were to ask a Baseball player which sport he thinks is harder, he would generally say Baseball. However, if you ask a softball player which sport she thinks is harder, she will generally say softball. Both are skill requiring sports. They also require a passion or love for the game. Although they share the same objective, they do come with many differences. The biggest difference in these two sports has to be the pitching style and size. While baseball pitchers deliver the ball

Who wouldn't want to do a exercise that is fun, plus it's good for your health? Who wouldn't want to play a sport with their friends being their teammates? Softball should be included in the exercise program because it not only improves health, it also teaches life lessons, and it also strikes up friendship.
Softball Out of all the hobbies out there, my favorite would be softball. Softball is my get away place from everything. Every day I ask myself “what can I do on this lovely day?” and every time softball pops up.
Everyone has watched softball, most likely baseball as well. Which do you prefer? How do you know that one is best? Well softball, of course, is the better choice. While watching both sports, you see them hitting, catching, and throwing a ball. Softball is more appealing. The reason for that is softball is a more difficult sport.
The recreational activity that I enjoy is softball. In this activity, You get in the batter’s box and a pitcher pitches a ball to you and you try to hit it. You can only miss the ball three times or you’re out. If you hit the ball, you run to first base and then keep going to the three other bases until you make it back home or you get out. When your team is not hitting and they are on the field, whatever position you play it, (pitcher, shortstop, center field, second, ex.) you wait for the person hitting to hit it to you, and you try to get them out by catching it in the air, tagging them, or throwing them out at one of the bases.
I grew up with six younger brothers. On many occasions, my brothers insinuated I was inferior due to my gender. For instance, when I informed my brothers I was going to try out for Little League Baseball, they had a fit. In fact, they told me I would never make the team because I ran and threw like a girl. Well, this made me more determined than ever; especially after my parents and brothers told me to join a girls’ softball team instead. So, I signed up for tryouts and I made the team. That year I started at the first base position on a team with two of my brothers. That shut my brothers up for a while. Through the years, I proved to my brothers that girls can do anything boys can do and I’d like to believe they are better men for it.
Have you ever played a sport or been in a club just for fun and loved it? Well that is what happened to me when i played softball! Softball is a great sport that mostly girls play but boys can too. Softball is just like baseball but with a bigger ball. Softball is a really fun sport to play with any friends or family. The best part of playing softball for me is the experience you have with meeting new people and making new friends. Also for the first year it’s really cool to learn how to play and feel what it's like to possibly get hit by the ball. The best part about playing any sport or just doing something you love, is the fact that you can keep doing it however long you want and get better and better as you go along!
Sports are the most important part of American culture, to take them from any citizen of the United States would be unconstitutional. High school is the most trying time period in a person’s life, there are social struggles, concerns with oneself, and fear of not being able to fit in and people still seem to worry more about grades than the well being of themselves and others. Doing well academically is not a thing of large importance to most students when they have so much on their plates, but other people care and they need something to blame the low GPA’s of schools on, so they target something near and dear to their hearts, a piece of culture. Sports. The only thing at blame for the academic success rate is the students and the pressure they fall under.
Do you have a passion, something you love to do more than anything? Imagine people trying to stop you from doing what you love because they think it’s not useful or a waste. Some people say competitive sports cost too much and they are way too dangerous for young kids to participate in. However, for many youth, competitive sports play a positive role. When kids play competitive sports, they are happier and they learn how to be healthy. Also, they learn life lessons that they will need for the future.
