Persuasive Essay On How To Apply Makeup

Decent Essays

As I grew up I learned several things on how to be a female. Makeup was the one thing that I realized was there to help us girls be confident, and have fun in our own skin. Of course, as boys know It can take us either minutes or hours to complete a makeup look we want. There is a technique, and process to applying makeup and let me tell you it is not as easy as it looks. Overall, In order to feel and look that way there are several steps needed to be followed.
First to begin the process you will want to make sure and gather all products, as well as cleansing your face of any excess oil or makeup. To begin you will need to make sure that you have these products which include Foundation, Concealer, contour palette, blush, eyeshadow palette, mascara, and Brush utensils. After checking off those, it is time to wash the face. I prefer the Cetaphil cleanser due to my dry and sensitive skin, but any face wash will work. Now washing your face you're going to want to use lukewarm water, and after to dry off the face do not rub with a towel. Rubbing the face will stretch the skin and cause wrinkles in the long run. The last step is not needed for everyone, but if you have dry skin or your foundation isn't oily I'd prefer adding a moisturizer just to keep the skin smooth, and even.
Now onto the second step, Adding foundation and concealer. You can apply the foundation with a brush or your fingers It is really not a big deal as long as you can even it out, and rub in smoothly. All you need is a grape size amount onto your palm and will add four dots of that amount onto the face.

Beginning with the forehead, both sides of the cheek, and your bottom chin. Now rubbing the foundation in remember to rub outwards, and not inwards. Again, rubbing inwards will cause stretch to the skin and cause wrinkles or under eyes to become droopy. Now that the foundation is done we are onto the next part which is adding the concealer. Concealer is probably my favorite product when it comes to makeup, it does wonders. You're going to use the concealer on any blemish's as in scars, pimples, moles etc. It's basically used to cover up anything that you do not want showing on your face. I prefer taking a small amount and just dabbing it
