In our world today, hunting has been a major debate between hunters and non-hunters. People can’t understand the realization of hunting until they actually choose to put themselves behind the sights. The benefits of hunting somehow continue to be hidden behind the losses and liabilities of the sport. However because of the calming silence, perfectly tasteful meat, and the gorgeous views, I believe hunting is good for us and the environment. Hunters have tried to prove their reasoning in order for hunting to be seen as a help instead of a hinder. This debate will most likely continue to be a problem for many years to come.
First off, how can hunting be cruel if most chicken and cow farmers kill their animals for our taste buds enjoyment?
In America, deer are an animal hunted widely throughout our country. Each winter citizens have mixed emotions about the sport. Some say its barbaric and cruel, while others argue that it’s beneficial and useful. Although people may say hunting is cruel and barbaric, have they ever thought about the upsides to be gained from hunting? While this is a topic that can be argued viciously back and forth, I believe hunters win the argument. Deer hunting keeps the population down, protects farmers’ crops, boosts economic sales, betters a person’s mental health, and teaches lifelong lessons on respect. These are just a few of the amazing benefits that can be gained from hunting.
Turkey hunting is one of my favorite hunts. You get to sit there in camo be out in the wilderness, but there are somethings that can go wrong. I am going to talk to you all about the best things to do when you are turkey hunting to make you more successful when hunting. “Hunting and racing are a lot alike. Holding that steering wheel and holding that rifle both mean you better be responsible.”-Dale Earnhardt. Earnhardt’s quote is saying like racing, hunting requires safety. Before the hunt can ever happen there are safety precautions that must be learned. Hunting safety is essential to protect not only the hunter but also the community. People fall victim to hunting accidents every year due to not practicing proper firearm or hunting blind safety.
Wouldn’t someone want the right to rifle hunt in Iowa if they a had rifle? Many hunters in the State of Iowa own rifles and can’t use them due to the DNR regulations/laws for rifle hunting. Although rifle hunting in Iowa is illegal, the hunters of Iowa should be able to use rifles because many hunters have them, it’s a more convenient way to hunt, and it’s a cheaper way of hunting.
“For some, hunting is a hobby for me it is a passion” by picgran. People should understand hunting because it's been in the world for over centuries. If you love to have your blood pumping with adrenaline you should hunt. Archaeologists have unearthed what could be the earliest evidence of ancient human ancestors hunting and scavenging meat. Animal bones and thousands of stone tools used by ancient hominins suggest that early human ancestors were butchering and scavenging animals at least 2 million years ago.
The reason that I would like to run a duck lodge and guide duck hunts is because duck hunting is what I am most passionate about.
Have any of you hunters out there experienced a drought in the deer during the season? All those bucks appearing on the trail camera, too soon just disappear. Yes, it could be due to the fact that they stumbled upon coyote territory, or maybe discovered a new field to feast upon, but one of the major reasoning is as a result of the Youth Hunt. For a low price, youth hunters under the age of 10 can hunt all species before the beginning of hunting season. The prioritized species though is the deer that roam the forest. Youth hunters go out with their fathers or mentors and take a chance at a buck of a lifetime .The youth hunt has lead to many deficits such as decline in the buck population, while the doe population is gradually increases. In addition, youth hunters will interval until any buck comes along and more than ever the “buck” ends up being an immature deer that was unable to reach its full potential. Furthermore, in most cases it isn’t even the youth shooting these deer! The father, or the mentor of the youth hunter, are the ones squeezing the trigger! Lastly, mature hunters are withdrawing from deer hunting because they believe that it’s unfair that the youth go out hunting, aiming to shoot a buck of great size, but consequently shoot any living deer that crosses their path. In addition, most of those deer presume to be immature bucks that are at the beginning point of their life and are unable to expose their potential.
Do you enjoy the outdoors and adventure? Most hunters consider bird hunting, or dove hunting in particular, as the most exciting type of hunting. Dove hunting, usually a very social gathering, unites friends, family, and strangers to kill doves and have a good time. However, newcomers to the sport might have questions and wonder what exactly goes on, and why everyone loves it.
Bears can be cute, but also not. So it's important to know how to be safe. You don't want to be quiet while you're walking you want to be loud. This lets the bears know you there. It's not a smart decision to wonder off the flagged trail you want to keep to the path and not invade their habitat. It's important to keep your food away locked up and away so it won't attract bears. If you stick to these rules bears can still remain cute.
Hunting is the practice of pursuing wildlife in order to kill it. Individuals who hunt do so for a variety of reasons while wildlife activists oppose hunters’ views and practices. Many people in rural areas of the United States hunt in order to harvest lean, organic, healthy meat for personal consumption. Some individuals hunt because it is tradition and a significant part of their heritage. Others choose to hunt as a means to escape the ins and outs of a chaotic society while taking in the serenity of the great outdoors in a therapeutic manner. Some hunters enjoy hunting for the thrill and the challenge of the chase. Other reasons people hunt include trophy hunting, travel to exotic locations, spending quality time with family and friends, and wildlife conservation. Individuals who are against hunting typically argue that hunting is inhumane and is considered cruelty to animals. Due to the benefits of properly managed ethical hunting, hunting should be legal within the United States.
People hunt wild animals for a number of different reasons including to control animal populations, reduce invasive animal species, and also simply for recreation. Recreational hunting is one of the most long-debated controversial issues in modern society. The arguments between proponents and adversaries of recreational hunting draw on ethical elements. Those who are opposed to it argue that committing harmful and painful actions on a sentient being is unethical or unjustified, especially when the actions are simply for recreation. Such groups also believe animals that are often hunted have inherent value in ecosystems and hunting such animals detracts from the health of such systems.
Hunting has been a means for acquiring materials from animals such as meat and leather from the beginning of time. Even though this an old tactic of acquiring such materials, many people still live by this lifestyle religiously. With this being said, many oppose the idea of hunting animals. These people use terms such as inhumane, cruel, and unfair when referring to the activity. With many people relying on hunting to provide food for themselves, there are those who oppose the idea and believe the activity is an inhumane and unnecessary sport.
absolute cruel treatment for innocent animals. Sports hunting kills hundreds of thousands of animals per year just for the satisfaction of killing an animal, and because it makes many bucks. In addition, hunted animals are shot, but sometimes the hunter may prolong the death and immense suffering of an animal. According to iddausa.org, it states, “Quick kills are rare, and many animals suffer prolonged, painful deaths when hunters severely injure but fail to kill them. Bow hunting exacerbates the problem, evidenced by dozens of scientific studies that have shown that
I’ve always thought that hunting was one of the best ways to calm a person down. Most people will never get the thrill of going out into the wild and hunting for some animal, whether it be a dove, a duck, a good, a deer, a pheasant, or even a turkey, most people will never get to experience how relaxing it is to just sit and relax. With my experience in hunting, I’ve found that shooting a gun or a bow is a very relaxing thing to do. It relieves a person of their stress and helps them calm their nerves in many different ways. Hunting in general from my perspective helps in teaching a person many different life skills, such as being able to survive in the wilderness for a long period of time if say, the person's flight ended up taking a nose dive into the Earth and that person got out alive and alone.
For centuries, lions have been known as the king of the jungle, the biggest and most ferocious threat in African countries, except, they aren’t. Humans have killed 85% of their historic range. You would assume it’s all thanks to trophy hunting and poaching, but beneath all the cub petting and “conservation work”, there’s an even more sinister and twisted truth. Canned hunting, which is paying to kill a lion in an enclosed pen, is a cruel and deceitful practice that should be illegal. Canned hunting industries are tricking the public into funding them. They are making false claims of conservation and fueling the decrease of the lion population. The captive lions live their lives in hostile and unsanitary environments and the young are taken
