Greetings All, I'm Angela. Unlike most people with my name I do no shorten it to "Ang" or "Angie"- Although Angie is a fantastic Rolling Stones song. I am a California native, and while I travel a fair bit, I have yet to take roots in another state. However, that may change in the near future as my long term boyfriend of 8 years and I, along with our two doggies, are strongly considering selling our home and becoming fulltime globetrotters. Professionally, I have worked for Laundry's Inc. in the hospitality industry for more than 10 years. While both the industry and the employer have been kind to me, my long term life objectives are much more entreprenurially focused. While I am completing my degree (I'm entering the second half of my
I personally believe in the same way as you feel it the social security is going to broke because Baby boomers generation will going to increasing and people need to be ready before the social security going to be broke, we all need to think about future retirement might look like without social security
1) Long Term Mental Health Goal: To take at least 6 hours per week to decompress from the week’s stress. These six hours will be completely unstructured free time in which I will not engage in work, school work or any kind of stressful activity.
My S.M.A.R.T goal for the next few months is to be distinguished. I plan to take notes for every class lesson and review for study purposes. I will study for every test coming up, no matter how big or small. I will pay attention and focus on the task or tasks in front of me and not drift off. I will ask questions on anything I need help with or don't understand. I will make time and review my old work and notes a week before the milestones. Using my knowledge, I will try to score a four on the
Selecting me as a candidate for SPREP, will not only benefit me, but benefit the others around me, even the teachers. The qualifications for this program include a student with a strong interest in medicine, a mature personality, a maintenance of an 80% average, and an ethnic background. Luckily, by choosing me as a candidate, I have all of these attributes and many more which will prove my candidacy an excellent decision.
My long-term goal with my college education is to complete my Bachelor's degree and eventually continue on to receive my Master’s degree in criminal justice. The first step to complete my long-term goal is receiving my Associate’s degree in criminal justice by May 2017. This goal is specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely.
I strongly believe that everyone should have access to a high quality education and to have the opportunity to academically develop to their full potential. With each decade we enter a new era of globalization, and our classrooms are becoming increasingly diverse. My main goal as an educator is to provide students from all cultural and linguistic backgrounds with tools to support their intellectual, social, cultural, and emotional development.
When I think of my career goals, I ask myself what I want to accomplish in life. I know that I love helping patients and families, and I want to continue to do that. I always am changing my mind on what I want to do after my BSN. I don’t know when or if I will get my masters or continue to work at the bedside for a while. I love what I do and what I do for other people and families. Working in the critical care unit feels like home. I get to do what I love.
Considering your lifetime goals, discuss how your current and future academic and extracurricular activities might help you achieve your goals.
My professional and personal goals I am pursuing is to become a human service health specialist. I desire to open and become owner operator of an adult day care empowerment center. Being able to help with the disabled society on daily living task, this is what motivates me in pursuing my degree to become a professional helper.
My long term goal is to gain the skills that I can use to provide support to my community and I believe I can do this by obtaining my bachelor's in nursing from Georgia College State University. I've grown up hearing stories of how charities and nurses helped my cousin's life be a good one. As a baby, she was diagnosed with leukemia. The hospital, nurse's, and charities did amazing things to help her. They made it a happy time for her. The nurses and community helped raise money for my family. I want to be able to do the same for families as they did for mine.
Participation in this program will support me and my goals to be the first person in my family to receive higher than a bachelor’s degree. I plan to receive my Ph.D. in abnormal child psychology, and I am currently in early education and care at my high school as my career path. I truly believe that I connect on a personal level with children and my interest in mental illnesses and why they occur fits into that career description perfectly. I would like to leave Delaware and experience the world, starting with where I attend college. Louisiana State University, Spellman University, or Texas A&M are my top 3 colleges that I would love to attend and pursue my career goals. I aspire to be very successful in everything that I have planned to do
My long-term professional goal is to become a graduate/ medical school instructor. I cannot think of another profession that would be as rewarding as helping students receive a higher education. Anatomy has always been an interest of mine. I fell in love with anatomy my sophomore year of high school. Every year Mrs. Kamm took three sophomores into her Anatomy class that was only supposed to be open to juniors. She told us that usually out of the three sophomores one receives an A, a B, and a C. I knew I did not want to be the C student. I worked persistently throughout her class and ended up being the A student. That was the first time I felt my hard work pay off. I knew I deserved that grade because I put so much time and work into the class.
My personal goal statement is to achieve, inspire, and conquer all trials and tribulations. I am traveling down a long and treacherous road full of adventure. On this road, I have encountered working for the State of Tennessee, married, two children, two grandchildren, and still working on my education. I achieve to be the best I can be, inspired by the people around me and will overcome anything that comes in front of me.
In ten years I see myself playing football or basketball because I love to play sports. I know I will never give up on sports because i would love a job that is one of my most favorite things ever. You know everyone in the world wants to have fun and get paid for it. But if i had to choose between one or the other I would pick basketball because I love to run and I feel like i’m really good when I score. And I love playing with other people.
Goal 1: My current self-conflict with my dream to work in industrial design, and the reality of graduating with degrees in psychology and human biology, is a significant cognitive strain for me. Finding a clear vision of what I can do with my degree to work in the realm of industrial design would be a big resolution of my tension, relieving any regrets and doubts about what I had chosen to study for the last five years. My future would look clearer and I would know what steps I need to take in order to reach the goal, which in turn make my next months more efficient and valuable. Most importantly, I would have a career that actually compels and excites me, allowing me to live out the cliché, “Do what you enjoy!”
