I do not want to merely succeed at this position…I do not want to just get by. I am driven to exceed every expectation: Mine, yours, Hologic’s and everyone else who places their trust in me: Everyday will be an execution of that drive.

I was born the fourth of December 1991 in Cranbrook British Columbia. I lived there for 18 years. Before joining the military I worked as a fry cook at a Burger King for three years and held part time jobs working for the College of the Rockies summer camp programs during the summer. My parents are currently living together in Cranbrook BC. My father works outside the province testing railway tracks for two months at a time, then returns home for two to three weeks. My mother acts as the main contact point of the family, she works as a financial clerk. I have a 22 year old sister who will be attending university in Calgary this September. I attended Mount Baker Secondary School in Cranbrook and graduated in 2009
For the very first time in my life, I had executed a series of behavior changes in order to lose fifteen pounds by this semester. I am pleased and more than grateful to see that my customized plan is successful, and took effect in different aspects of my well-being. “I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become”, I believe this quote by Carl Jung encapsulated why my health improvement plan would work – determination incorporated into a personalized plan. Hereinafter, I would like to discuss in details what and why had my behavior changes improved both my short-term and long-term health.
They say in case of emergency situations you need to help yourself first then only you would be better able to help others. Getting time for one self and breaking the old patterns would be hard but what will happen to my family if I am not mentally, emotionally or physically healthy? I will reflect nothing else but only bad to them and this will make my condition even worse. The worse may happen when they will start making distance from me. Everybody likes people who are happy with positive attitude.
The personal statement is very important to applicants who intend to be admitted to an undergraduate or graduate school. The role of a personal statement is to make applicants be different from other applicants. It mainly serves the purposes of persuading the admission committee of applicants’ great passion for the study field, explaining their experience that shaped their personality, demonstrating their longtime desire and commitment for the degree, and showing their life goals. What the admission committee is looking for in a personal statement varies from school to school, major to major. Art and Design is a unique program requiring its prospective students to be different in every aspect. My guidance strategy is to use is a corrective consequences with Sam. I will start with using a logical consequence when Sam first hits his classmate for not getting a toy. When I see Sam first hit his classmate I will go over to him get on his eye level and explain to Sam that we do not hit and if he continues to hit he will have to have to take a timeout during playtime. I will also give Sam a chance to explain himself as well. I will be clear about what is expected from him. I will not use an offensive tone with Sam.(put in book info) I want him to fully understand me so there is no confusion. The second time I see him hit his classmate I will follow through with the punishment of being sent to timeout and losing play time. I will again

When I began graduate school in the fall of 2014 after over 4 years of walking dogs I felt like I was finally on a path towards my future. However, what actually ended up happening was not what I was expecting. With your consideration and the plan I will outline below I know that I can succeed here at UMass Boston. It turned out that driving over 30,000 miles a year and walking over 40 miles a week for my job put an intense strain on my body and mind. Going back to school ended up making a this situation worse, so my body (and mind) began to slow down and this affected my grades. If given opportunity I would grant the freedom to medical or recreational marijuana, effectively legalizing and decriminalizing it, as it is scientifically shown to have little to no adverse side effects, and even health benefits, as well as providing a new profitable industry to our economy. I would also give everyone the freedom to alter, amend, or replace their birth certificate in order to accommodate their gender identity, as well as the freedom to use the bathroom of their choice according their gender identity, and the creation of gender neutral bathrooms for those who were either born or identify with neither the male of female gender. I would do this because my philosophy is that we as humans should be free to do whatever we please
