Over the past hour, I have learned that I can change into any person I could think of. Sometimes I would say a random person's name and I would become that person. I found that I could not become animals, so that means that I was not able to change the into the appearance of Sniper. I also discovered that I could even change into that person even when they died. I could become a living corpse. When I find Tristan I will pull the greatest prank on him. How am I going to find him? I'm stuck in this maze of hallways. If I leave, I have no way of knowing if Tristan and Sniper are stuck here. I have a plan. First, I will need to change back into Zelda. Then, I will find a servant or the queen and ask where they keep their prisoners and if they have any. From there if Tristan and Sniper are here, I will find them and save them. I'm hoping this will go well and without a mishap. Phase one is complete, I have changed into Zelda. Now I must find someone who can tell me where Tristan and Sniper are. I have this feeling that they are here somewhere. …show more content…
I've been walking through these halls for what seems like hours. There haven't been any signs of life whatsoever and I keep getting this feeling that I'm going in circles. Although, I haven't passed the mirror or any other doorway since I left that hallway. "I'm terribly sorry, but could you point me in the direction of the nearest exit?" a kind voice from behind me said. I jumped in spite of it, I didn't hear anybody following behind me. I turned around to find a girl a little younger than me standing there holding a basket of aqua chickens. "I'm afraid I don't know where the exits
I read Chris Kyle’s autobiography “American Sniper”. Kyle was a U.S. Navy SEAL, and served four deployments in Iraq. He grew up in central Texas, and for a while was in Rodeos, until he was injured and then he chose to go into the Navy. He was married to his wife Tara, and they had two children together, a boy and a girl. Some say he has the highest kill count of any American that has served, with the total somewhere around 255 confirmed kills. Kyle was shot and killed on a gun range on February 2nd, 2013.
My legs are shaking with pain, but I need to know where I am and what strange things lie outside of that door way. Slowly I am making my way there, I hear people having a conversation just outside. I haven’t a clue what they are saying, it seems to be in some odd language. Finally I’m at the door. Terrified, I grab the knob and start to open it. It squeaks when I swing it open. In the hall I see no one, just white walls with white tile. “What the,” I say to out loud. I could have sworn I heard someone. My eye catches my room number, 387, it has my name on it. I look right and left, but see nothing expect florescent lighting and shut doors. I go to the door across from mine and try to open it. Locked, that’s odd. I try the next one, locked once again. I keep going, now at room 365 I give the knob a turn and it actually comes open. I hesitantly wander into the area. It looks the same as mine, minus the painting on one of the walls. It is an extremely abnormal painting. It depicts an out of the ordinary creature. “Why would this be in a hospital?” I whisper to myself.
This short story was interesting to read, and the ironic ending was surprising. The main character unknowingly shot his own brother. Despite the fact that numerous relationships are severed through war, I was still startled by the abrupt ending. Humans rarely think twice about their actions, resulting in catastrophic consequences. The story portrayed the main character as a Republican sniper who would carelessly act, such as trying to light a cigarette in the darkness during war. He never thought about the results of pulling a trigger on a person, and the outcome was atrocious. I would recommend this short story for people who prefer surprising plot twists. Although, this book was enjoyable to read, on a scale from 1-10, with 10 being the highest,
Before I did though, I wanted to find Spy’s body and bring him back home. He deserved that much. I was careful in re-tracing my steps as I had no idea if I’d run into the enemy, despite the battle seeming over. I found the dead-end once again however his body was no- where in site. I knew this was the place, I saw a stained pool of blood that lingered on the ground, that would linger in my mind.
Somebody stole my gjallarhorn and i don’t know how it got lost or who took it. I think it was Marley who took it, but i can’t be for sure. Have you seen it anywhere?” “Me? Nah i couldn’t have seen it because i was here for like, 10 minutes or so.”
By the end, the sniper should see in me. I Benchley he sees that is victims face is his brother. Veneer then said start quote
I crawl towards the light and began to stretch my right arm towards it, I could feel it is the door; they left it open. I slowly pull the door open, revealing an environment just like a jail. I scan around me and see that I am surrounded by guards. Although, I also see that the entrance of this encampment is located a few metres away from me. I know this is my only chance of survival. I sprint towards the door, I turn around and begin to see a group of guards behind me, I continue to run and reached half-way, I hear a woman scream "hey!" but did not turn around. I am now near the gate, although I keep hearing the same voice, a scream in fact. I turn around for a split second and saw a woman. Our eyes instantly lock together like two magnets. I know the look on those eyes, they're the same fearful yet innocent eyes that I saw from my mother when she was murdered by the Gaia family. "Zuco!" she says. I stood there for a moment, guns pointing at me like a hundred cameramen taking pictures of a celebrity. It can't be, I saw her death first hand, although there is this feeling that I cannot remove, the uncertainty of whether or not this is even possible. I am so close to the door, I know that I can turn around and possibly make it out, or go towards my mother but surely we both will die. It isn't worth it. I look at her and thought she would be fine if I left her. I took a sigh and ran straight towards the door, I also spot that my mother is running too, unsure of what direction. I continue to run but as I run further and further a white structure appears to be getting larger and larger in front of me. I am running towards a wall. Although, there seems to be another structure, only this time shaped like a human being. As I run closer to it, I realise that it is my mother. I came running as fast as I can towards her, and after twenty years I received my first hug, I
The snipers Journey in war was necessary to discovering that war pushes people to enforce brutality and violence on themselves and those they fight against, having no opportunity to shine compassion on one another. War kills innocent lives and tears apart families leaving only the feeling of hate, anger, and grief.
oals, I thought to myself as I sprinted down the field, ball in my net. The scorching sun beat down on my back, as if trying to slow me down as I passed defender after defender, trying to score that next goal.
“We’ll take you to see doctor Bleeden (Pronounced BLEEDING. WTF?) on Tuesday. He’s closed Monday for the holiday.”
He was staring right at me as I pulled the trigger. The whites of his eyes disrupted by a splatter of scarlett as the bullet ripped through his uniform. This was one of the worst parts of my new posting. Having to see the life leave the body and how personal it felt. That was someone’s husband, someone’s brother, someone’s son.
As he desperately walks away from his brother, tears begin to run down his face.
“Time to go my brother,” said Shinkai as we were on the roof top. We’re doing a mission The B.O.S.S (that's us) are trying to stop the Chinese and German air lines because they are boarding American people and have bombs on the planes so now we’ve got to stop them. “Get your snipers and ziplines setup and ready just in case if they see us,” I shouted. It was going to be tough but our plan was foolproof so we were clear on that one.(and B.O.S.S means Brutal Official Se Society)”Sir they spotted us”said Carl.(the new member of the group his name's Carl he's pretty nice) “Let's move out men stick to the plan we can't lose anybody,” Ethan shouted. “Danny fire when ready,” Rayson told me.(we call him Ray instead of Rayson) “Get to the chopper Terminator classic” I shouted. “Danny we could use some missiles right now,” Matt said while hitting me in the head. “Yeah, yeah I’m on it,” I said sarcastically.
I woke up in hot sweat, well, not a hot sweat exactly, but it felt like my body was melting and my head felt quite foggy. I didn't really pay attention to much that was different about my surroundings until I heard a faint, yet gentle voice approach me from across the hall. It sounded like Phoebe but different. The voice sounded older and less pure, so it couldn't be Phoebe. Everything just felt different. I noticed the clothes I was wearing were drab. If I was at Pencey I would be shamed by the entire class for showing up in these clothes. Making the connection I realised I was in quite a small room with not much to it. There was a desk which held a mountain of papers. There was an old rickety chair, and a small dresser. Other than that
I know it's been a while and I’ve been fine, up until now, because something came up. Marcus died. It happened on O'connell street in the capital of dublin. I was there when it happened. The enemy had me pinned down, but that didn’t stop me from winning. I got curious to as of who he was, seeing as of how good he was, but that's when I realised my mistake. When I checked out who it was, I discovered that it was Marcus. I didn't think about who was shooting at me from the distance, only the fact that he was. He died at my hands, and I never even thought it would be him, the enemy sniper, it had never crossed my mind! But that doesn’t change the fact that he’s dead. He’s dead, because of my decision. I felt a wave of nauseous, and all these emotions,
