When you parents tell you not to do something do you just do it anyways. Well I do and this time I think I learnt my lesson. It all started on a normal Saturday and we were gonna go on a hike, but none of us wanted to go somewhere so we just did it at home. We got our bags and water ready and busted for the trail. I thought it was gonna be a normal day and we would all have fun, but I got proved wrong. The trail itself is about three miles and a couple of extra steps, but with the surprise we only walked a mile of it. My Mom was talking the whole way down the trail it got annoying fast, but I just kept walking with no smart remarks. We came upon where the trail splits into two roads and didn’t know which one take. “This looks familiar”,my
We greeted each other with kind respect. We met on the trail when his wagon broke. I offer to help Curtis Mick Colloni with his wagon. We exchange each other name and we left. I knew he was a skilled doctor and he he would I left the place and I ask Curtis if he would like travel together. As I was walking, I saw Hunter. I ran up to him and greeted him. I met Hunter Norm Cline during the trail when it block by a log. There was a lot of people and together, Hunter organized the group to pull the log. I ask if he would like to join me on the way to Oregon. He said he had 2 other family going on the trail and ask if I would join. He also mentioned that he was the leader of the group. I merge with the group and together we form a wagon
As we continued along the trail, we were stopped by a very steep hill. Hunter announced that we should dump some stuff from our wagon in order to get on top of the hill. I dump my a tired that I bought recently and a barrel with nothing in it. The trip up the hill was a pain. It took so long to get up the hill I almost fell asleep. My leg was sore and I thinking about giving up. Finally we made it to the top of the hill and we realized that we had to go down the hill. We decided to use our own ropes and slowly descend our wagon one by one. When we descend Curtis’s wagon, Curtis almost fell. He was able to caught himself before he fell down the hill. Well all went down the hill and as we were going down the hill, we saw a divine blue spring
Hi iam Edgardo Flores i was born in casa grande, az not that far away from our state capital,Phoenix, Az.theres nothing better to do in a hot summer than going out with the friends to a lake and have a blast riding jet skis boats and my favorite, swimming! My activites of the day are shooting, riding horses, and my favorite one is quad riding.Thats right! ive been doing these fun exciting hobbies since i was 9 years old.pretty young huh?
I put the quad in reverse and I almost hit the garage as I made the final turn to git on the main road I started to speed up as soon as we got on the first trail I turned and it was my favorite trail of all because it leads to a big field and only head 3 or 4 green trees the trail was shaped liked an oval which were in the middle of the field which the field was by my friend house .
The cold air brushing up against my bare skin, the soft flakes of snow landing on top of my head. "must keep going" I thought, "just keep going". My vision was beginning to get blurry, white patches began to show up on the bottom of my feet. The blurriness was getting so bad I stopped my run and began to waddle back and forth on the trail. My legs give out, my knees collapse under me and I fall onto the soft piles of snow on either side of the trail. The long beautiful trees dripping with snow looked like they came out of a fairy tale, the beauty was almost unrealistic. My eyes drift close and my body shuts down from the cold. Just before my eyes are completely shut I see the creature running across the trail its very hairy and has a long
Around two or three years ago my family and I had to move houses. Moving was sudden and we didn't know it was going to happen. This made moving out and into the other house a lot harder. Since we were moving so fast somethings we just decided to leave behind with the person that was still living there. We got most things with us but one thing that we did leave back in the old place was our living room tv. Since we had just moved and my family isn't rich my mom said we couldn't go get a new one for some time. This sucked because I used the tv a lot for watching show, movies, and playing games just like the rest of my family did. Having a tv wasn't something we needed at all but it was always something to do when you were bored and there was no other things to do. Another big thing was my grandma had just gotten us a new playstation 3 and now we weren't able to used it at all because there was no television. Not having a tv was bummer for me and I thought it was a huge problem when it really wasn’t.
Moving, for many people, can be a difficult process. A lot of the time kids have to switch schools and deal with the challenge of making new friends and getting used to everything new. Since my parents divorced when I was five years old, I can remember living in many different homes. My mother would rent out a place, live there for a few months, then meet a new guy and move on. For years, I hoped to myself that my mom and dad would get back together, like Nick and Elizabeth Parker from “The Parent Trap.” I knew, however, deep down that such a thing just couldn’t happen. My four siblings and I were dragged along, forced to go with the flow and adapt as quickly as possible. Up till she married her second husband, Tony. As young as I was,
Take a deep breath, I told myself looking in the visor mirror, just breathe. I looked to my right and droplets of water covered the passenger side window of my fathers Jeep. Two of the droplets had streamed down the window and I admired the beauty of their disarrayed paths. I compared the droplets to the bittersweet chaos that has consumed my life. Their paths had no direct course and jerked left to right slowly and then in a rush as if there were a magnet below them.
We had planned to spend a good hour or so hanging out at the bottom and catching our breath, however due to the sun setting soon, we knew that we would have to immediately head back. So as irritated and tired as we were, we headed back up the trail. Now as I said we are all pretty outdoorsy people. However, Lauren isn’t the most athletic girl I know and also wore her dad’s boots which were three sizes too big and were beginning to give her blisters. Did I mention that the trail back is a three mile, straight-up hills trail? We knew that it was going to be hard to get her back to the top before it got to dark to hike. Also, since our car was in the horse parking lot, that would be an extra mile once we got to the top. So we figured the best option would be to divide up. Maya and I took off so that we could get the car and drive it back to where Lauren and JR would be waiting at the top of the hiking trail. Maya and I hiked up as quickly as we could, completely out of breath, out of water, and out of energy. I didn’t think that we would ever make it out, until finally I saw the light out of the trees. Once we made it out of the trail, we ran the mile to the car and rejoiced as we finally got to sit down in the air-conditioned Elantra. We drove back to Lauren and JR waiting for us and ended the hectic day by eating pancakes at Cracker

Low battery.Exactly the two words I didn’t to see right now. After I woke up and noticed my head was throbbing in pain me being skeptic I slowly tried to get up , and when I got up I checked my phone again noticed it was 2 o’clock in the morning and all I remembered was me and my friend Chris were riding our bikes and ally of the sudden a loud sound like a train and all of the sudden my vision went black and my body went static.
It was a hot summer day in the middle of July, me, and a couple of my friends, Aaron and Josh, decided it would be a great idea to go on a hike to this perfect spot on Lake O’ the Pines. I never told my mother where I was going; that was my first mistake that I made, and another mistake losing something that I needed.
We reached the mountain in late afternoon, the sun out and no clouds in sight. To be honest I was already uncomfortable with the heat and humidity and we hadn’t even start the hike. My parents made several attempts to make the hike seem intriguing but we wouldn’t bite. As we began up the trail it was very quiet. I was doing my best to avoid talking to my parents. I just wanted to get this hike over with. As we continued up my mom insisted on taking pictures of every view we saw. She would make me and my sister stand next to eachother so she could ake pictures of us witht the view behind us. It was a nighmare that wouldn’t end.
Blood flow rushing through my veins, lungs heavily breathing through thin air, heart pounding loudly, I couldn’t bear. Slowly I unsealed my eyes from its long tender slumber, and grazed everything around me. Pitch black light loomed in my sight. I perceived nothing except darkness and a shadowy site. Terrified of my blindness, cascades of water started whooshing down my eyes. With all my might, I stretched out my long podgy arms as stiff as I can as it hit a large rigid structure similar to a wall. Four compacted fortifications built to confine me inside this hollow full of terror.
When I got fired from my job over the summer I realized there wasn't a lot to do. I was bored. This led to me exploring the woods around my house.I found lots of things, old oil cans, empty budweisers, and coyote traps, but the biggest thing I found was a trailer.
