A. I wish I never would've missed that buzzer beater in the game. My team really depended on me. And I let them down. I felt so sad that day that I wanted to quit basketball. I thought i wasn't good enough when I missed that shot.
B. My plan was, When i get out of school I was going to go home and eat that last piece of cake. That was on my mind all day in school. So as soon as I got home i rushed to the refrigerator. And noticed it wasn't there and my sister told me my mom ate it. That messed up my whole plan.
C. Last summer My family had a reunion and I had so much fun that day. Then Two years go by and i forgot all about it. Until i saw one of my cousins in the grocery store and he said" remember that reunion we had two years ago". And I
An all time favorite activities of me to do and to watch is basketball. Basketball is something I relish because it's exciting and really affecting, I started playing when I was in fourth grade. When I became attentive in basketball it was because I was trying out sports that year and I determine I admired it and really, enjoying it. Basketball is something my dad, and my brother plays, too. My brother and I try to practice, and learn from each other when we both have the time to practice.
A . I've always had problems with planning things out for example i would have a goal but i didn't know how to work towards it. Most people when the make a goal they usually have an effective plan that helps them work towards their goal

Next, I am going to talk about the things I do. Participating in basketball, soccer, and track takes up a lot of my free time. Currently I am debating to quit basketball, I think about it because it’s just not fun anymore. Messing around with my friends and playing a pickup like game is what is fun to me about basketball. Last year, 8th grade, I did cross country because the soccer team was finally sanctioned. This meant that 8th graders weren't allowed to play unless we petitioned up. Emma, Rachel, Laura, Ruby, and I decided to join cross country as something to do. Cross country was something that, for the most part, I enjoyed. Although I enjoyed it I quit to play join the soccer team. This past year in soccer has made me want to quit soccer
The cool thing about humans, is no two are exactly the same, every one is different in their own way. We’re all defined in unique ways, some by their jobs, some by their livelihood, or interests such as basketball. This is one of my favorite things to do in life, there's just nothing better than setting foot on that court. When basketball season starts to roll around, memories from past years come flooding in. Being able to smell the freshly popped popcorn all throughout the gym. Looking up at the crowd and seeing everyone in the stands cheering us on, arguing with refs about a call, or not really paying attention to the game at all. The feeling I get when I’m on the court is second to nothing. This is where I go when I need need to just get away and think.
d. Many things in life are uncontrollable so don’t try to control them. Instead of stress out over them, focus on the things in your control. You can control how you react to certain uncontrollable problems.
I began playing Basketball freshmen year as a way to release my emotions and forget the thoughts that gave me stress or made me overthink. My coaches gave me the nickname of “Mean Darline” because of how tough and aggressive I would get when being on defense. Little did they know that I wasn’t good at that position because I loved Basketball but because it maintained me calm and allowed me to express myself in a socially approved activity. When the season was finished and I retired from Basketball after my sophomore year I went back to going to the gym three to four times a week. Gym workouts or any physical activity is great to rechannel one’s unacceptable impulses without others criticizing us for our actions.
I had the choice of having my father drink nonstop or take away his ability to.
Have you ever been forced to do something that you really don’t want to do? It could seem like agony at first, but in the end it will usually always turn out OK. Well, at least it did for me. It all started on a chilly, winter morning in third grade when my mother’s heartfelt words and tears, changed who I am today for the better.
Learning the game of basketball has changed my life for the better. As a little girl, my father believed that I would be an incredible athlete. As soon as I could shoot a basketball, my dad took me to a park to develop my skills. Practicing constantly led me to fall in love with the sport. Basketball became more than just a game, it became a passion. Pursuing this passion has been rewarding, inspiring, and empowering.
was 9 years old and 4th grade had just started which meant that my first official year of basketball was around the corner and everything had to be perfect. I would wake up in the mornings before school and I would go shoot come home after school and shoot again, it was the most practice I had ever done, in one thing, in my entire life. The first practice started in October and I was so overly excited I grabbed a ball and started my routine 5 lay-ups and 10 free throws. I knew my coach better than anyone, He was my father, so when he blew the whistle, I ran to the line and prepared for up and down sprints. We only ran for about 15 minutes, but it felt like days the way he ran us giving us only a few water breaks The entire team was wheezing and we were barely a quarter way through practice. I hear my Dad yell lay-up lines and I get excited because this is something if practiced so hard
