As ,it got darker,we went to a Disney )resort hotel and in the window there right in front of me, was the coolest thing I have ever laid my eyes on, It was a Pirates of the Caribbean gunpowder gun. It was like a pirate gun, but It was fake and my papa got it for me and my brother. I thought the water was cold and the salt burned my eyes. Since the salt hurt my eyes we walked to the beach store. They had every thing you would dream of at a beach. We bought some goggles and we also purchased a boogie board. When we got back from the store we thought it was a good time to eat because we were dry. After we ate we went back down to the beach. I put my goggles on and I got my boogie board and I had a blast! I found some really cool shells. After we got some shells we brought them up to our parents. We put them on a towel and when we came back we noticed that some of the shells moved! We all freaked out because we did not know what happened. I watched them for a bit and realized that they were hermit crabs! We returned them to the Gulf and kept swimming. We Went out to dinner at this alligator place. They had real alligators outside the restaurant! We went inside and ate. I had some chicken with fries. We got a appetiser that had the alligator. I really wanted to try it and see what it taste like. I took a bite and liked it! I took a bite of my chicken and I could not taste a difference. After that we went mini golfing. I came in second and my Grandma came in first. She golfs on like a real
I will never forget my trip to Six Flags, St. Louis. This all started when I was fourteen years of age. My step dad, who lived in St. Louis, decided to invite me to visit for the summer. I was so excited to go! When the day came he pulled up at my house he asked me if I had all my stuff ready I said, “Yes sir! Let’s go!” Then my step dad’s family and I piled into the two cars and hit the road. The whole ride there I thought about all the things I wanted to do at Hurricane Harbor and Six Flags.
It took almost two hours to get to Orlando from Tampa. As the van rolled along the hills, rocking and swaying back and forth, I was elated with thoughts of all the things we would do. I remember jumping around in the back seat with joy as we started to see signs for the park. When we arrived at the park, pure bliss and amazement showed on our faces. We took a ferry boat from the parking lot to the entrance of the park. Once inside the park, we headed for the rides. Some of my favorite rides were The Haunted Mansion, Thunder Mountain, and Splash Mountain. My sibling and I were very thrilled and cheerful. Next, we visited Magic Kingdom to watch a parade of all the Disney characters. We were elated to find out we would get to take pictures with Goofy, Mickey Mouse, and Donald the Duck. My parents purchased chicken tender meals. Also, we ate snacks such as elephant ears and cotton candy. Grandma had given us money to buy extra junk that my parents would not buy. As the day began to end, we started to get tired. Lastly we watched the fireworks and took last minute photos before heading to the car. I was very sad it was time to go home the next
I was about six years old, in Cancun, Mexico for Spring Break in the Month of March. My family and I were staying at a huge resort filled with many fun things to do.We had been waiting for this family trip for months; I was excited to get out of the cold Minnesota weather and into tropical heat. We were in our hotel room getting ready for dinner with my two sisters, my mom and dad. I felt the heat all over my body, like I had been standing directly in front of the sun, So I went to open the hotel window to feel the cool breeze and to see the ocean view. As I walked to open the window my mom said “Morgan be careful, the wind is so strong if you open the hotel door, close the window because the door will slam shut; but I only thought about myself and I responded with a sassy comment, “Okay Mom.”
On my 7th birthday my mom, dad, brother, my grandma and grandpa and I all went to Kemah Boardwalk it was right by the the cool gulf of Mexico. I went on all the fun rides except 2. One of the rides I went on was a train that would go in a dark tunnel then “BOOM” it was a gun showdown but of course it was fake. Then I went on a ride that you were in a circularised room with big windows. We would go up and a person would talk to you about the gulf of Mexico and you could see the gulf of Mexico. My head was getting dizzy so I sat down. Then I went on a roller coaster that was made entirely out of wood the one thing that was not out of wood was under the cool cart. It was huge. When we went on it was crazy at one point we went straight down when I got off my stomach was in a knot I felt like I was going to throw up.
It was a sunday in August, I woke up so happy . It would be my first time out of Michigan. I was going with my big sister, my best friend and two other friends. When I say I was happy I was happier then than a baby when you give it chocolate for the first time. I said my goodbyes to my mom and I was off. We were at the checkpoint so that we could get on the bus.It was crowed and it was hot because the sun was out. It did not make it any better because the line was as long , like a giraffe's neck. We finally got checked in and took our seats on the bus. Then we hit the highway. People were yelling and laughing .We heard HONK ,HONK, BEEP, BEEP, from the cars the next 4 hours. When we finally got off the bus it felt like we
I could hear footsteps, when I opened my eyes I saw my dad shaking me by the shoulder. That day we were had to get up at 4am and make our way to an entertainment park. We were already 5 minutes late. It was a morning of rushing around and a bit of frustration. After a short shower I grabbed a snack and jumped into the car. We had a 30 minute car ride ahead of us. This was not our car, we had rented one because we were on vacation in Costa Rica. I was in 7th grade then. It was the last month of the year and my dad had saved money for months for this trip it was our 3rd day into the trip with 4 days to go. My 2 brothers Ian and Gage came with us, Gage was only 5 years old, Ian was 13. Once we arrived at the Entertainment park we were right on time. The gates opened at 6am giving us just enough time to get some breakfast . Once we got there I sat down in the waiting room and waited for my dad to sign the waiver papers. After he finished signing we walked outside into a small area, there were harnesses
Drove away to Disneyland. Waking up at 5;30 am to get ready is exhausting. So i took a nap in the car. We finally arrived there but there was a problem, we couldn’t find the parking lots. My dad got mad, we were about to leave if we couldn’t find the parking lots. An hour later we were finally able to find the parking lots because of a kind disneyland worker. We paid to get into the parking lots. I changed into shorts because it was hot but who knew it would rain i would have to change in an elevator. Got in a bus to get to the entrance of disneyland.
I was at the park, and it was me and my family taking a trip to the best amusement park in missouri. We took off from the house, in Fulton, Missouri. It was about an hour and a half drive to get to Six Flags in St. Louis. We finally got there, the lines were super long, and the park was packed already at about eleven in the morning. Me and my little sister were both extremely excited to get past the long line, since it was both of our first time being there. We walk through the gate, and my heart instantly dropped on spot. The rides were super big. With loops and corkscrews, and that made me go from excited to scared quick.I was only about ten years old; therefore, I was not able to ride that many rides, and I was kind of relieved to hear that from my family.
As an 8-year-old child, the worlds scary place. Everywhere you look there’s something terrifying. From people the size of giants, roaming the streets, with no care what so ever with their surroundings or just realizing that in a few years would come the most difficult and emotionally unstable time of my life. Sure, those things may be slightly exaggerated, but what I do know is the most horrendous experience I had in the land of joy that ultimately ruined my love Disney for many years.
Disney is truly the happiest place on earth. Every kid wants to go,but does every kid get to go? I'm going and i can't fully wrap my head around the idea that on September 15th-I'll see Mickey Mouse and all the marvels of Disney!
It was a cold and dark night in October when my friend and I took a trip to Fright Fest at Six Flags. Ahh!! Screams were all I heard when I approached the park. So, when I went into the park I was really nervous that a monster would pop right at me. When we got in the park I heard a chainsaw right next to me, I screamed really loud that I almost blew my friend’s ear drums out.
When I woke up a walk down stairs and I was wondering where my mom was because we are supposed to go to 6 flags today. I was so excited I couldn't wait. Then I ran up to my mom's room and there she is sleeping in her bed. I yelled WAKE UP we are supposed to go to 6 flags today. She said oh I forgot then we both jumped in the shower before we left. Then we were on our way to 6 flags. We left at 8:00am so she said we would be there at 10:00am. ZOOM!!! the car went by us in a flash. We barely saw it. Then my mom gave me a large box when we stopped at kwik trip. She said I couldn't open it till tomorrow. Then we got back on the road. I was listening to the music for most of the ride. Then there it was my favorite song was on. I told my mom to crank it up.
When I heard my parents talking about going to Disney World I was so excited. It was a long trip down to Florida and I could not sit still, because I was so excited. We finally arrived that evening and decided to stay in a hotel near the theme park. When it was time for bed I could not go to sleep for a long time, because I
My mom, dad, brother, and I were all putting sunscreen on, head to toe like we showered in it while we were waiting for the cab to pick us up to go pick up the ATV's. Once the cab got to the hotel, we all had to stuff ourselves and our belongings in it because it was one of those mini cars that only had room for three people, but we were four people not including the driver. At the ATV Rental place, we got sized for helmets and the ATV. My brother and I were not old enough to drive the ATV so my brother and my father went together while my mother and I went together. Before you know it, we were out and about zooming through the streets of Aruba to get the California Lighthouse which
