When I was 17 I found out that I was pregnant with my son Tyrese it was a really shocking moment for me .when I had my son and when I held him for the first time I knew I couldn’t give up on school because my mother motivated me to stay in school when I thought I couldn’t do it but it’s not just about me because I have to make a better life situation for him and for me as an young adult. I chose to be an RN because my aunt expired me I love to see them work and to go around taking care of their patients and I chose to do so because my aunt she talks to me about the classes she took and the things she likes and enjoy doing as an RN it’s not about just taking care of someone but also being a good listener or if a patient needs a shoulder to

In conclusion, cancer is the primary influence on why I will become a nurse. Mentors such as the incredible nurses who cared for my mother and me during our battles with cancer, are the other influence. Personally, being a nurse is much more than just a job, but a lifelong dream.
I choose to study RN because it is much easier than BSN and I can graduate faster. On that days I was always dreamed to graduate from nursing school to help my family financially.
I chose nursing as my profession because I always have had a desire to serve and educate others and nursing, which has given me an opportunity to do that. Nursing is a rewarding career that gives the greatest opportunity to save lives, comfort, and care for them. The nursing profession tends to run in my family and have inspired me to become a nurse as well. This profession is the most demanding and helpful profession in the world.
My desire to become a nurse stemmed from my eagerness to help others and be there for them when they needed me most. I have always derived satisfaction from helping others, especially those that were not always able to help themselves.
She and my whole family knew that I was kind, caring, but overall head strong. In situations that one would think I would fail, I would keep going. My stubbornness and charisma too wild to stay in a cubicle 9 to 5. EMT school strengthened my desire to want to help others. Seeing those in need made me want to help and be there for those at their most vulnerable times. From a young age I had to deal with seeing people hurting, and sick. My grandfather dealing with spinal problems, and mental illness. Every time I see him I want to stay and make sure he is being taken care of. Being a nurse allows me to fully give my life to helping and making a difference in everyday life. The idea of being a nurse, and helping someone during their time of need bring me happiness and fulfillment. I want nothing more in life than to feel like I am creating a better world for someone who is
In fact, there are several reasons why I chose nursing as my profession. First and foremost is that I want to focus on changing people’s lives (Nurse Journal, 2016). As a nurse, I would study the life's value when I would be seeing individuals struggling to remain alive. Since I am fully aware that each life's breadth is a gift, I would, therefore, understand this lesson further as I would be nursing various patients daily. I greatly respect human life, I possess strong values and I am compassionate for empathy and suffering, factors that have further attracted me to the nursing profession. Second, nursing profession allows continuous learning. As I like learning, I would possess unlimited opportunities for advancing my medical knowledge. As such, I would capable of choosing to work in various departments, train to become a medical assistant and as well enter the nursing management where I would grow and mentor new nurses through sharing my knowledge
I was always undecided regarding the career that I wanted to pursue. As I got older and looked at many choices in careers I realized that I wanted to have a career in the medical field. Being a nurse interests me because it requires the study of the human body along with other great opportunities that nurses have in this career. I want to become a nurse because I like being able to help those who are in need.
July 23, 2005 my son Jatourian was born. I was now responsible for another life at the young age of 17. In my mind I was terrified but in my heart in knew I wanted nothing but the best for him and in wanted to be the person to give to him. He is such an amazing person. Jatourian has so much confidence that it is inspiring. His spirit is so bright that I have no doubt in my
“We will get through this together and I’m not mad at you” my mom said to me while I was on the other end of the phone crying. It was December 2013 and I was in my room crying my eyes out because I was barley nineteen years old when I found out I was pregnant with my daughter Zoey. Being pregnant at a young age is very scary and hard just a year out of High School, I was forced to grow up and make a big decision with my life. This was a life altering moment for me but I knew right away I was going to have my daughter; the way I look at it she saved my life from going down the wrong path.
Everyone has different reasons why they would start any kind of career. My reasoning to start the profession of nursing would be because of my mother and grandmother. They were both certified nursing assistants and I wanted to be just like them, because I look up to both of these women. When they would talk about some of their experiences I remember thinking, “Oh that sounds like fun”. I have also always enjoyed helping people and making sure that they were okay. Once I became a certified nursing assistant because I knew that I would be helping out people that needed help, it was a great feeling. It also made me feel well because it meant that I am making someone else’s life easier.
I chose to be a nurse because this allows me to interact more with people. Nursing is a great profession; it allows people to influence and touch lives. I am willing to obtain this significant responsibility. I am keen to be there for the patients through illness, injury pain, loss, grieving, birth, growth, aging, and health. I consider myself as determined and vigorous. I have the desire and determination to accomplish my goal of being a nurse. I am also thoughtful, caring, and open. I believe that my desire and traits would reflect on me being a nurse and would make me successful one.
The reason why I would like to go into the nursing program is because ever since I learned that my sister had to go into the incubator I just wanted to help people or in my case infants that are in need of help. Also when I took Medical
The reason why I want to become a nurse is because growing up I always knew that I wanted to be a nurse because I am very caring, kind, and giving. While I was in middle school my mom went back to nursing school, and seeing my mom become a nurse strongly influenced me. In high school I decided to get my C.N.A., once I started working as a Certified Nursing Assistant I knew I was in the right field. Every day that I work I came home and I always feel rewarded because I know I helped others.
I chose this major because I like to help people. I chose nursing because I want to save lives. I’m interested in nursing also because of my mom. My mom has a lot of health conditions include diabetes, fibromyalgia, asthma, and gastritis. I help my mom on daily basis with her conditions. I love helping my mom. To me, being a nurse is far more than a job or even a career. It's an adventure, a continuous learning process that I embark on bravely each day, in search of life changing events and miracles. I consider myself to be a compassionate person who genuinely enjoys helping people, to positively impact people's lives by making a significant difference while achieving a lifelong dream, because of its endless variety and finally, I believe this is the best career path for me.
