Have you scared someone so bad and thought of what could have had happened to you? Scaring a person is bad, although I have someone before. I have gotten so scared before that I thought I was dying!!! Scaring people is not a good thing to do because it can traumatize them, make them not want to be around you, and also can make them feel scared and embarrassed. (The story of me getting scared begins) One day in the summer, my friend and went to the movie theater to watch a scary movie. The movie was scary and I was shaking and covering my eyes during the movie. My friend suggests that we should leave and go home. We left the movie theater and I was still paranoid from the movie. We arrived at my house, and I stated, “Home sweet home!” We arrived
Everyone watches movies, whether it be in a theater or just at home on your TV. The reason that most people think of is just simply for entertainment. The fact that there are so many different genres of movies makes it easy for us to bring out different emotions while watching them. Those rush of emotions are what keeps us entertained and coming back for more.
The next day when my parents returned home from work, they called me into the living room. This scared me a little, they only did this when something bad was happening. When I walked into the living room, my father was sitting in a chair and my mother was sitting on our couch. When
Once upon a time, my two cousins and I were going to go trick or treating, since it was Halloween. We went to a big house that had a lot of scary stuff. Then, we decided to go to a Haunted Asylum. So, we went to the Haunted Asylum, and we entered.
The most memorable moments of a person’s life are created when they are frightened. I have to admit, I did get quite a scare that day. My family and I got onto a small yellow paddle boat with barely enough space for all of us to sit. My younger sister and I were sitting in the front, paddling, and my parents were sitting in the back with my baby sister, steering the boat. Before I go further, I should mention that I was a girl who was very scared of spiders, scared enough that when I large spider climbed into the boat I was ready to jump off without even knowing how to swim!
I was finally packed and ready to go say goodbye to my parents and other family. I was scared getting on the bus with my grandma with the tickets to El Paso, Tx. After my goodbyes the bus takes off the light dim down and the cold air and the unentertaining movie Diary of a wimpy kid comes on. After a couple minutes i slowly fall asleep.
After school was over, me and my friends were walking home. I asked my parents if my friends can come over and hang out in my treehouse. My parents said yes, so I told my friends that they can come over. Me and my friends were hanging out in my tree house and one of my friends went into the forest to check out the view. Me and my friends were talking and then we heard a scream, me and my friends where wondering who it was, and then I realised it was my friend.
I was a very energetic two year old who was ready to play after a long nap. My family had just gotten back from a trip to Columbus, Ohio. The trip couldn’t have felt longer. When I awoke I recall not being able to remember the trip at all. Almost as a drunk who had woken up after a long night of partying. I immediately got out of bed and headed for the living room where my mother was sleeping and my father was working. With both of them being busy, I decided that the best plan was to find my
It was a dark rainy night when I went Trick or treating with my friend Lindsay. First, we went to the first scary house because my dad dared me too obviously going to the other houses to get candy. We had to go to the other side of the neighborhood to find a scary house because all the people from the houses near my house are nice so they don’t put scary stuff. When we got to the scary house I rang the doorbell and I and my friend fell to the bottomless
The two movies I viewed were Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Poltergeist, which were both directed by Tobe Hopper. Both films displayed the general rules horror films generally follow through the use of horror film genre conventions. For instance, both movies follow the good verses evil story lines and in each the end does ultimately win. However, this is not entirely true in Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The friends represented the good and the chainsaw carrying monster and his family portrayed the evil. In the end on of the friends, Sally, ultimately does escape from being killed by the monster in the movie. However, her other four friends were taken down and gruesomely killed by the evil killer in the movie. So although in a bittersweet manner,
It was a sunny spring day and my mom called both my brother and I down for a family meeting because her and my dad had something important to tell us. When we got downstairs they told us to sit down at the kitchen table. My brother and I both looked at each other because we were scared about what they were going to say.
I looked up at the black sky. I hadn't intended to be out this late. The sun had set, and the empty road ahead had no streetlights. I knew I was in for a dark journey home. I had decided that by traveling through the forest would be the quickest way home. Minutes passed, yet it seemed like hours and days. The farther I traveled into the forest, the darker it seemed to get. I was very had to even take a breath due to the stifling air. The only sound familiar to me was the quickening beat of my own heart, which felt as though it was about to come through my chest. I began to whistled to take my mind off the eerie noises I was hearing. In this kind of darkness I was in, it was hard for me to believe that I could be
Sanborn NY- “The only thing you should fear is fear itself.” Well, that and many other things. I found myself itinerating around the campus of Niagara County Community College on March 14th, 2016 curious how realistic fears play a part in our social and daily life. Let me make this clear, it was very difficult discovering what type of questions to ask. I kept reminiscing the thought who are the right people for this and then it hit me; student athletes.
