Personal Narrative Essay: A Powerful Female Dog

Walking up to the shelter only to find that the dog we wanted is being taken home by another family, we thought we wouldn't be getting a dog today. But when we found her, we were glad that the other dog was taken. Her black, slicked back fur shedding off of her perfect dog body. Her black beady eyes are bulging out of her head with the look of excitement. Unable to hold herself back she breaks the leash that the vet was trying to hold her back with. Running to us, she slips and falls on her head. We don’t have a second to worry because she jumps up and starts licking our faces with her slobbery tongue. By the time she is tired from licking our faces, we feel as if we just went swimming in a pool of melting jello

On 10/08/17, at approximately 12:08pm, I Deputy Warden N. Christian with Franklin County Animal Care and Control was dispatched to 3470 Fishinger Mill Dr on a dog on dog or cat attack, no known owner. I arrived at the location and spoke to complainant Holly Davis. Ms. Davis stated she is dog sitting her parent’s dog. She was taking out the trash and walking the dog. Ms. Davis approached the apartment complex dumpster and saw an unknown female with a Chihuahua (white/brown) at the dumpster. Ms. Davis stood a distance away to allow the unknown female to throw her trash away. The Chihuahua was off leash and approached Ms. Davis and her dog, the Chihuahua snuffed the other dog, and for no reason the Chihuahua bit Ms. Davis dog. The unknown

For millions of years dogs have remained a constant companion of man. Bred from the aggressive and formidable Gray Wolf tens of thousands of years ago the domestic dog now lives in many homes across the world. Where in the far distant past the domestic dog was bred as a guard animal, a beast of burden, and even a food source the dogs of today are bred for a far more endearing purpose-companionship and love. Finding a pet dog that is more of a joy than a chore is necessary when asking: How much is that puppy in the window?

Ever since I was young my family has always had a dog. The first one we had was a sable German Shepherd named Steel, but he had bad hips and we gave him to one of my dads friends because he wasn't very healthy. The next dog we got was named Tiger and he was a sable German Shepherd as well. From what I remember Tiger was pretty mellow and gentle for a German Shepard. Tiger started to develop a patch of skin cancer around his eye when he was seven years old. When he was nine years old my family decide to put him down. Fritz is the next dog we got and this time we got a black German Shepherd. Fritz and I go on daily walks in my neighborhood. Right now Fritz is still a little disobedient however, that is expected because he is only two years old

A dog bred from indigenous people of Asia ,the Miniature Siberian Husky, has many different characteristics including eating habits and multiple habitats that make this animal so exceptional.

Siberian Husky, breed of working dog, which originated many centuries ago in that part of northeastern Siberia inhabited by a people known as the Chukchi. The breed is used in Siberia as a sled dog, watchdog, and pet. In the first decade of the 20th century it was imported into Alaska, where it has since been used as a sled dog and particularly in the sport of sled team racing; most of the present-day records of this sport in Canada and the U.S. were set by teams of Siberian huskies or by teams led by dogs of this breed. The Siberian husky is a medium-size dog. The male is 53 to 60 cm (21 to 23.5 in) high at the shoulders and weighs 20 to 27 kg (45 to 60 lb); the female is 51 to 56 cm (20 to 22 in) high and weighs 16 to 23 kg (35 to 50 lb).

Imported to England, the Lab’s role changed to that of shooting companion, where he was skilled at finding game and had the ability to carry objects in his mouth without harming them. Also, his intelligence and good temperament would make him the world’s finest retriever. In America people were using the Chesapeake Bay retriever to hunt waterfowl. But after hearing of the success that people had with the Labrador the upper-class society started to import them to America. People were having so much success with Labradors as a hunting dog, it became in popular demand. The Labradors have a thick undercoat and a water resistant top coat to keep the Labrador warm in the coldest water. Another characteristic of labs is, they are very strong swimmers. These characteristics make labs the most preferred dog when it comes to hunting waterfowl.

Do you like huskies? I love huskies very much, and I'm trying really hard to prove to my mom that I'm going to do anything to get this husky.I want a husky because it will make me more responsible and prove to my mom that I can take care of a husky or maybe another pet. A husky is a good loyal dog. A husky can keep you safe!

Literary analysis is a key component in understanding all of the depth and story behind a piece of work. Like husky, also most people hope to adopt or buy the husky as their pet because husky is too beautiful and look funny. But they don't know husky very hard to take care and spend too much time to play with their pets. Huskies also live with cold conditions and they are very playful if they live with hot conditions like Oklahoma and spend a little time to play with them then they maybe die or feeling boring. Also who take huskies had the air-conditioning on in the room to get cold condition for their pets and spend a lot of time to play with huskies every day. For example, huskies can withstand temperatures as cold

Dog owners have to put in a lot of effort to keep their dog healthy, happy and looking good. In addition to feeding and bathing your pet, you will have to trim their nails. You may be tempted to trim your dog's nails yourself to save yourself a couple bucks, but when looking at the many ways you and your dog can benefit from you allowing a pet groomer to tackle this task, you may actually change your mind.
