Personal Narrative: A Canadian Vacation

“Canada was built around a very simple premise. A promise that you can work hard and succeed and build a future for yourselves and your kids, and that future for your kids would be better than the one you had(BrainyQuote).” Known for hockey, cold winters, and maple syrup, Canada is full of fun times and rich history. The cold climate of Canada is what most people think of right away when they hear it being discussed. To start, Canada has given Ontario and Quebec the most rainfall.

Would you like to see the Atlantic Ocean?When you go to eastern canada you will see a lot of people in the airport but there are the beaches,good food and nice jewelry. In eastern canada you try new foods,See new sights, and hear about the culture / history.

Canada has been shaped by the historical influences of World War 1, The Roaring 20’s & Dirty 30’s and World Was 2; setting the basis for the society for which we live in today. World Was 1 had a big impact on Canada because it started the process of giving woman rights and showing people that they can do the same jobs men can do. The Roaring 20’s & Dirty 30’s has a big effect on the country because people went from having a lot of luxuries in the 20’s, To having no luxuries in the 30’s. When World War 2 came it gave people jobs and money so they could buy back everything they lost in the depression.

Canada is a country, proud of its culture and heritage. Canada is a country in North America alongside the United States and Mexico, boarded by the Arctic, Atlantic, and Pacific oceans. Particularly Canada is a multicultural, diverse country with two national languages consisting of French, as well as English. Although the language is diverse it is not the only element that changes across the country. In addition, Canada consists of just under ten million kilometers squared of land, which is the second largest landmass in the world. Likewise, Canada has everything from flat grass to beautiful mountains, sparse hills to large valleys with mesmerizing beauty. Something to consider about Canada and its success is the aspects of Canadian society, and what is contributing to the overall well-being of all Canadian citizens making Canada a great country to live in.

Modern Canada was introduced to the global village of communication through fields like the internet and radio, allowing for a broader area of global discussion that could bring about ideas as to how Canada can deal with its geographic limitations. While the populated areas of Canada have advanced over time, it enabled the collection of knowledge over the country through study where the most livable and preferred conditions are often shaped through construction to fit the needs of modern Canadians. However, there are still limitations laid about over Canada, such as the locations and occasional colliding of tectonic plates as its varied landscape of regions can lead to a few changes that need to be made to support an area for human life,

Today, Canada is the second best country in the world according to the Washington Post. But what’s so appealing about Canada? Canada has their own government, they promote gender equality and have equal right towards every race. But Canada was not always the great country that it is today. Canadians worked hard to accomplish independence and recognition. Historical events that helped shape the way Canada it is today are, the battle of Vimy Ridge, the Balfour Report and Statute of Westminster, the Persons Case, the formation of NATO, and the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom. These are the events that helped Canada grow as a nation to become a peaceful, independent, and a just country.

Every year, the country of Canada receives over 16 million international visitors, and more than 7.5 million of those tourists visit Ontario, Canada, the country’s most dominant province. Many people hope to travel to Ontario to explore its wonderful attractions. Recently, I went to Ontario, Canada, and was lucky enough to tour Ontario and view its gorgeous sights. While traveling, I realized that Ontario can be enjoyable for anyone of any demographic. Every travel enthusiast should get the chance to take a vacation in Ontario because of how distinct this destination is from other vacation spots.

Canada has many unique geographic characteristics. Unlike the United States, Canada is divided into provinces instead of states. Canada has tundras, mountains, volcanos, forests and prairies. This always them to have many different opportunities, such as shipping of ore.

A few weeks ago I was sitting in my old dusty chair watching the news. I was just thinking about the day’s work ahead of me, and wondering if my body will make it through the day. I heard a car door slam. I imagined that it was my wife pulling in, but that would be impossible. I wondered who it could be. I do not get many visitors this time of year, not in the off-season. Could it be the fella that was on the news? They said a girl was murdered in Iowa and the suspect got away, and may be on his way to Canada. Then a loud knock on the door filled the empty room. I got out of my chair slowly, like a pregnant woman would, and made my way to the door. I could hear a creak with every step I took, and only God knows if it came from the floor, or these knobby knees.

Fewer crimes have been committed in Canada then in the U.S which means you would be safer in our environment. And unlike in some country, we accept every culture and we wouldn’t discriminate anyone. Canadians should be feeling exceptional about themselves at this moment.

Living in Canada one doesn’t have to travel the world because the world is literally in Canada if an individual drives around Toronto one can see everyone from different ethnic groups and Individuals can discover a lot of different cultures and try various ethnic foods. Therefore, it become one of the most desirable destinations around the world and these high levels of amenities attract plentiful of immigrants to settle their life here.

Trying to find memories is like looking for treasure. You look at the surface and see something mediocre, but you dig deep and find something cool, pretty, and meaningful. It took a while to think of a fond memory, but once I thought of some, it was hard to choose a favorite. Growing up I have had many great experiences in the form of vacations. Between going to Disney World, owning a vacation home, hanging out with my grandparents in Arizona, traveling to Canada and more. They all make amazing memories that I will forever cherish. The vacation spot we go to the most, though, is Wisconsin Dells. A few times I have been allowed to invite friends to come with. When I am allowed to bring friends, it is always a ginormous amount of fun. We goof off in the hotel room, play in the arcades, and swim in the water parks.
