Personal Narrative

Two days later I went home and went out to eat with my uncle and my 2 cousins. Then we went home and got our laundry. Then we went to Bonner to do laundry.

My family and I went home and then would head back to the reception later. My aunt, uncle and grandma arrived before we would go back. I took care of my aunts baby Ryland for a little. I went with my aunt and uncle to the reception. On the way I was  trying to get Ryland to sleep on the way.

I was at my aunt’s home with her husband and 2 children. We were just chatting together and later began watching a movie.

Then, the next day passed and i woke up and walked to my great grandma's and my great grandpa’s house and brought everything that i brought. After that i went to the store down

I turned on the stove and started make myself some breakfast. When it was done, I had some leftovers, so I left them on one plate and stuck them into the fridge so whoever wanted it, could have it.

During hurricane Matthew I evacuated on the Tuesday, the day before it was official that we had to evacuate. On Tuesday I was not at school because I was sick so when I was at home my mom called and told me to get packed up because she said that we were going to evacuate, at first I was scared when she told me about the hurricane then she said that we could go and see my family. Later she left early from work and my stepdad got home too. My mom and I got our dogs and our clothes then we left my, step dad didn’t come because he had to wake up really early and would just evacuate later or if he couldn’t get back on the island his job would get him a hotel. Then my mom’s friend called and said that they had nowhere to go so she came with us to evacuate.

I kept repeating “ can we just go to nana’s house” I said screaming and crying because I was so scared.

The neighbor lady screemed behind me. I didn't know what was going on but I knew blood was bad, it meant my parents were hurt. Before i could even ask them if they were ok I heard something by the stairs.
