As a child, I used to love all animals no matter what everyone else used to think about them. I had every kind of animal book you could imagine from reptiles, to amphibians, and even dinosaurs. I loved learning about their habitat and their diet because it they are so much different than ours but they are living just the same as us. There wouldn’t be a day that went by where I wouldn’t be thinking about animals which made me think about becoming a veterinarian until I became aware of the fact that I had to put them down sometimes. With my love of animals, there was also time where my friends and I had fun like jumping on our neighbors trampoline. One day, my friend and I walked over to our neighbors house and rang the doorbell to ask if we could use the trampoline. While waiting for the door to open, I saw what I thought was a wooden …show more content…
I also knew that where there is a mother, there are babies. This certain snake that I decided to pull on must have been the mother because once it got to the porch, I looked at the grass around the house and it was almost as though each strand of grass was moving. Snakes came from everywhere. The rocks, the grass, and even under the porch seemed like they were the homes to snakes. As they slithered about it appeared as though they were coming right at us and we became deathly afraid because we didn’t know what they were going to do to us. As soon as we thought all hope was lost, the dad came home and immediately came to our rescue with none other than a shovel. Unfortunately he killed each and every one of them because he didn’t want them to harm us and the sight is something I will never forget. In order to clean up the mess of mangled snakes, he grabbed a five gallon bucket and began to scoop snake upon snake upon snake into the bucket. At the end of the cleanup, the bucket was about halfway full of
Becoming a veterinarian is my green light. Since I was a kid, I have this dream of being a veterinarian. This is my green light because I want to be able to help animals, therefore, I cannot think of working with some other thing. I would not say that my life goals have changed over time because I have a love for animals and I want to be able to rescue as many animals as I can in the future.
I am currently enrolled as a student of Veterinary Science at the University of Arizona. Initially, I came to the university with the intent of joining the career field as a veterinarian. However, after one school year and multiple job-shadowing opportunities, I realized that being a veterinarian was everything that I had imagined it to be. I found that I wanted to be working directly with the animals rather than just diagnostics. With these ideas in mind and some research, I concluded that the career that would give me the most fulfillment in my life would be a veterinary technician.
From my opportunities while working and volunteering with veterinarians, I’m positive that my decision to pursue a career in the field of veterinary medicine is right for me. I enjoy the challenge and excitement that comes with the cases I possibly might encounter. This field is challenging, but I’m confident that I’m prepared to do whatever it takes to prosper. Through pursuing my professional goals, working and volunteering for veterinarians and animal facilities and my college experiences with animals has solidified my career choice and becoming a veterinarian is the only thing I want to do. Through my experiences, I have learned a veterinarian is not only a caretaker for the well-being of animals; he or she is also a role model, an instructor, and an active member of the community.
First I have to say that over the years I have developed a deep passion for animals, science and research. It all started in my childhood as my veterinarian parents gave me the chance to be in touch with rural people, animals and animals´ health problems at a very young age. After those experiences, I decided to become a veterinarian myself. My particular interest in sciences and constant study allowed me to graduate from Veterinary Medicine with honors. As a veterinarian I have been oriented to attend large animals and to work with rural communities to promote animal health and livestock breeding.
Many people have lost their pets and close family members because there is no way to get the help or medical attention that the animal so desperately needed. Every day in the United States, veterinarians are working hard to save animal’s lives. People will always continue to want and to breed pets. Therefore, to help and cure all these pets, a steady stream of veterinarians will be needed for many years to come. Over the years, the requirements and processes to becoming a veterinarian have changed. To become a successful veterinarian one must complete all necessary education and on the job training, be friendly and love animals, and have a burning passion to help both the pet and the pet owner.
Veterinarians provide medical services for animals that are big and small. Helping sick animals weather they are big or small. They provide medicine for house pets and farm animals. When owners take there pet to the vet they are looking for someone to provide information to them about their animal. Some of the information given to the own is about how to properly care for your animal to make sure it grows the right why. Veterinarians are there to help animals no matter the size.
Dear Mrs.Duncan Im suggesting we get a course where students could either get experience idenifying or dealing with sertan plants or animals. The way I could benefit me as a student is I could learn the different types of animals and how to sadly handle them along with identifying plants that could hurt them or any house hold pet considering I want to be a Veterinarian. But of course this may not benefit all students because not everyone wants to be a vet but the over all knowing of dangerous plants and animals could help them make smart decisions in a tight situation. Also if anyone wanted to see How you would care/help an animal that may be injured either on the road or just near them they should learn who to call where they could bring the animal In the future I could use this to
Veterinarians have to work with injured and sick animals. If one wants to become a veterinarian, one must have lots of patience and experience. To start out, you must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree and, though not always necessary, a bachelor’s degree. Many seekers must spend years studying subjects such as science, biology, anatomy, chemistry, zoology, etc. Fewer than half of those who apply may be accepted into class, due to very competitive admission.
“Don’t touch that damn cat girl it could have diseases!” This is a response that many brave animal lovers receive daily. Helping animals is a calling for me. There have been several occasions when I helped animal(s) to my best ability. I realized that the career path that I should pursue should be veterinarian medicine.
“Hey Daddy, what’s wrong? We are going to be late for the game! Why is Nana crying? Where’s mommy?” At age 11, all I could do was ask questions.
From childhood through my beginning years of high school, I set myself to become a veterinarian for my future career. I had no other intention of exploring any other option. This mindset developed as growing up I was not able to keep house pets due to unfortunate condominium rules made by my stingy neighbors, and in order to fill the loss of furry companionship, I felt that becoming a veterinarian was the only way I would be able to work with animals. One day in my 10th grade chemistry course I was calculating the amount of moles of an unknown substance when I finally realized that science was not a strong passion of mine, and I would not be able to stand all seven years of it in college. My empire of a plan to be an animal doctor collapsed

We hit the road in my uncle’s jeep, and I gazed out of the window and I saw a wild cat in the tall green grass I was so scary that I did not said a word to Tamara when she called my name at least hundred times. About three hours later, we finally arrived. I got out of the jeep and then I felt something on my leg but I was to scary to look down so I just kept walking unit my uncle said you have a snake
Diagnosing, preventing, and treating a variety of animal illness and diseases. These are a few things that everyone goes through at work. It is not just a regular job, it takes patience love and responsibilities.
Our old red van squealed as it halted to a stop. One Pitbull, no two Pitbull’s were in a big bay window of our new dogs old home, barking at our arrival. They welcomed us into their home with open arms as if we were royalty. Once inside their house, my mouth went upside down like a rainbow and my nose scrunched up in disgust. My eyes narrowed to find the horrid smell, as they adjusted to the dirty and dark room they searched for the source when they saw some glass terrariums. My brain must have told my feet to move towards them because as soon as i saw them i was right next to it the tanks. i put my finger on the glass tank where the log inside was touching. i didn’t see anything, but i stayed there. i turn thinking nothing was there when something struck the glass. i jumped back examining my finger. Nothing. Now knowing nothing could bite through the thick glass i put my finger by on the glass. it came back. it was a brown snake. There was at least 6 tank exactly like the others. The only difference is that they were different kinds of snakes. “Oh i forgot to tell you, we have snakes; hope you aren’t afraid of them.” said the mom. When she said that my mom was just stepping into the house and let out a nervous laugh and stated that she was very afraid of snakes. She tried to stay away from them, but they were everywhere. There were seven of them, but it was a tiny living room, so it seemed like everything. After about five more apologize for the
