I am from Yuma Arizona and I have lived in Lake Tahoe for almost 30 years. My interests include digital art, 3d modeling, and pretty much anything that has to do with creating content for the web and games. I do not ski or snowboard, I am clumsy and simply just a chicken!… I Am working on my AA in Computer and Information Science. I am also interested in becoming an entrepreneur and using the digital content I create as my product. I am in the very early stages, basically at the thought stage with ongoing research as I go through my classes. Theatre 101 was not one of the requirements for my AA, fortunately, the class I was scheduled for was cancelled and I was able to register for this class, one of those “happy accidents” I would say. After
After taking an acting and theater class in my current college, I found a new passion for the theater arts. This led me to taking more classes at my school and performing in plays, and as an extra in television shows. I was recommended the USC School of Dramatic Arts by a teacher, because of how good I was in the craft and my excitement to be a part in the creation of theater. The School has a history of great performers, and directors that I want to follow in their footsteps. This includes my personal hero George Lucas, who has changed my life for the better in so many ways. His creation of Star Wars, Red Tails, and Indiana Jones affected how I saw the world and my aspirations. I want to learn about theater and become an actor and create the same fun and excitement that I enjoy everyday, and touch the hearts and lives of other people.
I am a nontraditional student, currently employed by Children’s Mercy Hospital where I work as the Division Manager for the Emergency Department. I am a senior at UMKC, who will move directly into a Masters program upon completion of my BLA degree. I was born in Wallace, Idaho but have lived all over the country (Hawaii, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Dallas, and Seattle) and now reside in the Waldo/Brookside area. I have taken several online courses and have enjoyed them all. I particularly like an instructor who loads the entire class online from day one. I am very busy with my job and family and like to have the option to work ahead a little just in case something comes up at work unexpectedly. I took English 311 American Literature
Former baseball player Tommy Lasorda once said, “The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person’s determination.” The journey of our life is full of winding paths and concrete obstacles whose sole goal is to slow us down, and to attempt to block us from reaching our ultimate goal in life, whatever that may be. These barriers are there for several different reasons, whether it be mental or physical. Sometimes these obstacles are motivated by fear, other times they exist simply because we have to make a decision, and that decision can be life changing. But through our determination, and through our perseverance, we can achieve what these barriers told us was impossible, and can pursue the path in our life that leads us to our ultimate self. Throughout my life, I have had thousands of barriers stand in my path. And the only way I was able to defeat them was through conquering my fears, and breaking my limits in order to achieve excellence.

“Crunch, Crunch,” I heard as I walked towards the shiny blue portal. It was dark, hazy, and cold. I heard “grr” behind me get louder and louder. I turned around, I lifted my arms, and pulled the trigger. I couldn’t tell what shooked more, my arms from being scared, or the vibration of the gun. I thought the zombie died and it was all over, until I turned around and three more zombies appeared. I pulled the trigger as fast as a jackhammer but it was no use. Game over.

Something that make me smile, gets me excited, makes me do something is softball. I have played ball all since the day I could walk. I started off playing baseball since I was 2 years old. Then at age 8 I went on to play softball for a select softball team in Pearland. Playing softball has always made me smile! I love the intensity, excitement, and the teamwork that is used to play ball. We all look out for each other and try to pick each other up even when we are not all in the spirit. Some activities that involve science, technology, engineering, and math that I find to be fun is robotics and underwater robotics. Robotics has always been a big part in my life because my dad is a robotics teacher for this school and I always loved playing
Encryption in book Blown to Bits by Hal Abelson, Ken Ledeen, and Harry Lewis is carefully analyzed by these three Computer Science majors is from the beginning of ciphering till exploitation occurred between the NSA and the Congressmen/Presidents of 1990’s. The industry and technological advancements for encryption began with the Egyptians who ciphered their language in Hieroglyphics around 2000 years ago. This creation led to a problematic industry for the Information Age because of the abuse of privacy. Though the fraudulent consequences of privacy are not protected by any amendment limitless resistance to being exposed for personal information has been growing ever since the beginning of security standards. What happened in September 11th, 2001 was not merely an inevitable catastrophe because the FBI warned the US Government and president years before 911 occurred. Encryption being a safety requirement in our era is the encoding of data transferring through communicative means. Anyone can have access to the data however there is a password when trying to steal or intercept someone 's information. The best way to encode your translation of personal information between two or more people is by verbal talking through whispers/soft speaking. Regulating encryption has always been a request from the NSA and the FBI because of exchanging violent plans or initiatives to seek perilous outcomes. The government feeds of privacy, not protected by the Founding Fathers or the
