I love listening to The 1975 and Hozier when its cold, rainy, and gloomy. Something about these artists just help me to relax. Their music is totally stress free. On sunny hot days, I love driving around with my windows down bumping Kygo through my speakers. Kygo is a popular Norwegian DJ. Along with his popular singles, he has remixed popular songs like “I See Fire” by Ed Sheeran. His music is really upbeat and loose and very easy to dance around carelessly. Something about him attracts younger crowds along with older crowds. one genre that most adults hate is Rap and Hip Hop. I listen to this genre while I'm preparing for a night out on the town. Some artists I listen to is YG, Tyga, or G-Easy. I rarely listen to this style of …show more content…

Listening to the lyrics of your favorite song you automatically start to have a connection with that song. Then the song starts to represent you and your life because of the lyrics. Some songs show about being a fighter, having freedom, or just being you. There's a billion of songs out there and there's a billion of people who connect with those songs. Usually the most common reason why some songs represent people is by their past experience. For me some songs represent me because I decided to follow my dreams, living in the moment, and get right back up.
With means to express oneself, helps one overcome the difficulties of life. This approach represents the entire nature of the hip hop culture, especially when dealing with social justice issues. The composer wrote this charming piece of music because he knows the audience likes showy pieces. It was based on the appeal of tunes he heard during his childhood. I enjoy the sound of the piano being played, and I loved how the composer uses it to make this very admirable piece.
It can help students pay attention to the work they are doing and possibly even learn more while listening to music. While, yes listening to music during a lecture will probably not exactly help with listening to it, it can help during times where the teachers are not talking. For example, while reading a novel, I find it helpful to listen to music in the background. It helps me from drifting off in the middle of a sentence. Also, whilst writing novels, I will listen to a playlist I made that relates to the book I’m writing. It will help inspire creativity and also help with the not drifting off. Additionally, many researchers have proven that music helps you focus. A lot of tips people give to students is to listen to music while studying or doing homework. When I was in fifth grade, I was caught between two worlds, playing a woodwind or string instrument. If I played a woodwind instrument I would have to blow in it to make music, but string instruments are played with a bow to make music. After much thought, I decided that the violin was the best instrument for me, because it has a beautiful, unique sound, plus the possibilities are never-ending. I could receive a compliment from a teacher, or even get accepted to the symphony.
The age of Romanticism was from 1820 to 1910. During the long and glorious Age of Romanticism, artists of this time would approach their paintings, literature as well as their music with deep passion. The passion was so great, it was the same type of feelings that religious, social, and political partisans applied to their individual causes (Ferris & Worster, 2014, p. 175). “As newly restored kings and prelates repressed freedom of expression in politics and the arts, artists and intellectuals increasingly sought one another’s company, sharing among themselves the revolutionary sentiments they dared not express in public” (Ferris & Worster,

Music; Indefinable by words alone. It is not only something you can hear but what you can feel. It is something your soul is able to reach out and touch. Music also has the power to bring us as humans, together. It is one language spoken by all cultures, sexes, races, age and religions. Tonight’s music selection: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro with the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
The Musical Composition that has changed my life to how I see music is the song The Stroke from Billy Squier. I did not really know the meaning of the song, but it really Widened my Horizon in terms of music from only before listening to The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and The Monkeys. Then later being able to listen to Rush, AC/DC, Aerosmith And Other Really good rock bands that I still love today. Then I started collecting Records then I started collecting CDs, the first album I bought for myself is the majestic Black Sabbath Album “Paranoid” The album with the musical compositions Paranoid, Iron Man, War Pigs/Luke’s Wall, Planet Caravan, Rat Salad, Electric Funeral, And Fairies Wear Boots. This album was such an amazing introduction to Black
The beautiful sound of piano music has captured the hearts of people since the early eighteenth century. Since then, many musicians have dedicated their lives to this instrument. To become a good piano player, one must love music very much, have good finger techniques, and body flexibility.
So, the Element of culture that I find myself the most passionate about is Music. I say music because music I found in every culture. Music is what I believe in being part of human. There are literally hundreds different types of genres of music people listen to and millions of songs to listen to. A little about me, I personally find myself listen to rap music and old Rhythm and Blues. I come for a strong African American background family, where we have family get together, cookouts and just being close to your family. Most of the R&B songs tell a story. They talk about the black culture in good and also in bad ways. The R&B music I find myself listen to is more from my parent’s time. The music back during my parent’s child hood is a lot different than music today. One Major different is music back then had people playing the real instruments and sounds. I hear lectures from people from my parents’ generation how music today is terrible compared to their upcoming music. I personally feel music just changes because it adapts to people’s lifestyle and what they are going through. The Music Industry have always been dominant in society. If you think about every generation can remember listen to their favorite song growing up, and music can sometimes tell you all about yourself.
