As for my employer, my leaders have every intention to encourage me to align my personal life, which is school, with my professional life. Also, encountering new people will provide me with the opportunity to improve myself as well as to help others with their improvement. By taking advantage of my employers Tuition Assistance Program I believe that both my employer and I will benefit from my continued education. Bachelors of Science in Business concentrated in Information systems through the University of Phoenix will open me a new world of successfulness, and I feel that school and my employer will help me to be able accomplish my goals. Meeting new people at every class will allow me to have the opportunity to expand my horizons.
In addition, moving on into new learning adversities will also open new doorways in the world of competitiveness, and also will challenge me to get to another stage of my life. Looking for new areas of personal development being backed up by a title and away from getting some extra digits in my paycheck will help me to strengthen my values and criteria toward this challenging world. Also, one objective I have set is to be a teacher. Recently, I discovered that sharing my knowledge is something I would love to do once I am a realized person. That would be a pleasant way to share something to this society.

A long term educational goal for me was going back to school after 4 years and a second child. I kept putting it off for months and months .I was extremely intimidated due to the fact that I had two kids to support and; I would only be able to work part time. Finally I had to drive to greenwood to see the dermatologist and I said that would be the day I go to Kaplan. To make sure I reached my goal I started by cutting down my work hours and keeping in touch with my advisor. My goals were achieved after a month and I was proud it made me feel like I could achieve anything as long as I put my mind to it.
What are your academic and career goals? Describe your goals and tell us your plan for meeting them.
While in grade school, my teachers always asked what I wanted to become in future, and I always answered, “To be great person.” With the passage of time, I got knowledge and skill background. After that, some people around me posited that I would change my career goals due to the complexities in studies and academic frustrations; however, I did not break. Instead, I found strength and relevance in my objectives, leading to my accomplishments in advancing my education to university levels.
Goals, goals, goals they're what people think about and how they are going to achieve them in the future. My three goal in life are to get in the college of my choice, go skydiving and to get a well paying job. These three goals are important to me because they are what I am likely to achieve within the next ten years. As I grow and blossom into someone big, someone bigger than who I am today I don’t mean just physically but bigger intellectually, and more capable. These goals show me that if I want to achieve them, then I have to work hard to accomplish them.
First off, i want to graduate. I don't just want to graduate, i want to graduate with a nice GPA that i could get into almost any college that i choose. My main GPA goal is a 4 and i'm close to achieving it. It's not going to be easy, but it's not going to come by itself so therefore i must make an effort to complete everything and make sure i understand it. Once i've done all of these and exceeded in all of my classes to a respectable grade, then i will be happy.
My educational goals were to get a certificate in Health Information Technology as a certified coder. But I change my mind and decided to get my associates degree because it provides me with more opportunities in the field. I can choose many different careers such as health information analyst, insurance claims analyst, records technician specialist, etc. With this degree I can improve my family financial situation and be an example to my children that if you put your mind to it, you can achieve anything.
A college education will take me many places and open up many career opportunities for me. Without a college education, I would not be prepared for the cruel world. Going to college will help me develop the skills that are essential to be successful in this world. The motto that pushes me to get through my day is “you only get out what you put in”. Throughout my time in college, I have learned more about myself, and who I truly am. By keeping myself involved on campus, I have made connections and have built relationships with my peers. After my time at Kansas State University, my goal is to become a physical therapist because it will allow me to help make an impact on others. Without a college education I would be stopping myself from achieving my goals.

Am I ready for high school? What changes am I going to make to be successful? Do I have my short and long term goals planned out? Many questions that I was asked right before my first year of high school are ones that I didn't take literal notice of. It wasn't that those questions weren't important and wouldn't have been beneficial. It was mainly being that walking into high school for the first time I didn’t know where to go, who to talk to, and most importantly what were my goals after graduating. At the time my mind was set on childish attributes such as what girls would be there, was I well groomed, or how many of my friends did I have in my class . While growing up I never had anyone explain to me the significance of a GPA . I didn't
My academic goal is to graduate Argosy University with a bachelors degree in Forensic Psychology in three years time. Forensic Psychology is the study of the criminal mind, in a nutshell. The main motivation to achieve this goal would be intrinsic. I love asking questions and knowing the answers as to why people do what they do, and in a criminals case, what led them to committing the crime. This goal, however, may have some extrinsic motivation as well. Being knowledgeable about certain behaviors that criminals poses may help solve or even prevent a crime. In addition, having a degree will help open different paths in life, ones that may present me with greater job opportunities. My attitude toward the learning process will help my achievement of each goal because I am eager, determined and motivated. My greatest desire is to succeed in life, and obtaining an education is one thing I know will help me. I perhaps will need to make some adjustments along my journey. I do not know yet if I will find another educational path that intrigues me the most. For now, I do not feel that any adjustments need to be made.

Another academic goal that I have is to transfer to Cal Poly or Long Beach and obtain my Master’s degree in education. I also want to graduate with honor and with a 3.5 GPA or above. I decided that I wanted to be a teacher because I like helping people out and also I enjoy working with kids. We live in a small apartment and we are a family of five; we don’t usually go out and eat at restaurants only in special occasions.

An obvious goal as a working adult returning to school is, of course, to earn a degree. My overall goal is no different than any other student, however, I also have several personal goals I hope to achieve while attending the University. Everyone should have personal goals that evolve around anything that needs to be accomplished. I set goals on a daily basis. One goal that I seem to have not truly focused on has been my college education. Considering all things, I decided I needed to focus on my college education. The first thing I needed to accomplish was to enroll in an institution for higher learning. As a student at the university, I now have to set personal goals so that I will be successful in my endeavors.
