Staff attitude towards patients direct influences patients’ willingness to obtain access to and continue care, to treatments, and to accept and follow health promotion messages. Assessing patient satisfaction appropriate tools should be used by the health centre and district supervisors to assess patient satisfaction, or to assess how patients perceive the health establishment in general.
The second concept is the patient satisfaction of the services that are provided at different medical facilitates. It is often said that we are currently living in an “Age of Information.” The invention of new technology, namely the internet, has allowed us access to enormous databases of information right at our fingertips. In a matter of mere seconds, we have the ability to virtually travel across the globe, through history, and even into the minds of others. Not only this, but we can also communicate almost instantaneously with people all around the world. However, has this change made us more open-minded, or has it made us one-sided and susceptible to fiction? We may be becoming too dependent and easily influenced by media and public opinion. If having more information was important in the past, it has now become a battle of how well we can sort it through. Within this wealth of material, the work of Romantic authors like Henry David Thoreau, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and Emily Dickinson not only appears to be lost, but certainly outdated and no longer pertinent. Yet, the passage of time has not dulled, but undeniably strengthened the words and messages of these poets. Thoreau, Emerson, and Dickinson urge us to reflect upon our lives and remind us of the importance of patience, self-expression, and risks; in an increasingly connected and rapidly moving world, it becomes sufficiently clear why this advice has endured.

The 5 questions and their answers I asked in my interviews are as follows; 1). How did the professionals such as the Dr.’s, nurses, PT, OT, etc. treat and/or interact with your father/client? My first woman told me that her father was a Korean war vet and that the majority of his Dr.’s were at the VA in MN. She was not impressed because many times they all seemed as if it was a burden for them to have to see him. She also observed young men and women there in waiting rooms who were treated with respect and they seemed to get right in to their appointment whereas her dad would sometimes wait 1 to 3 hours only to be told that they would have to reschedule. It was very sad. My second woman I interviewed told me that rarely would she ever see Dr.’s
Patient engagement programs are meant to reach out to the patient. Organizations have realized that they do not only have to adapt technology and assume that they have engaged the patients in their health care process (Empower your Patients to Improve Their Health, 2015). They have come up with other strategies meant to ensure that there is communication efficiency, and there is greater patient satisfaction (Confier Health Solutions). Healthcare providers have some additional tasks where they have to keep in touch with patients so that they can fully engage them in their health care processes. There are various patients’ engagement tools, and one of the patient engagement outreach programs is the patient outreach program that is offered by Confiner health solutions. The program was developed with an intention of promoting wellness and providing preventive medicine. The program is supported by doctors who work together to ensure that the primary aim of the outreach program is useful (Confier Health Solutions). The outreach program also ensures that there is close monitoring of the progress of the patient. The main objective is to ensure that there is successive recovery, and thus the
Nurses are in a great position to advocate for the patient when working with the other members of the healthcare team, and even the patient themselves to achieve a focused outcome. As a student nurse, I keep the patient at the center of my care regardless of the situation. This can be hard, as sometimes in the healthcare field the lines can be blurred by differences in the opinions of healthcare workers and family members, as well as influences of circumstantial factors. The way that I advocate for my patients is by being aware of my patient’s needs and want, and expressing these needs when the patient can’t.

Patients’ satisfaction surveys are useful in identifying ways of improving your practice. It demonstrates that the practice is interest in the patients’ views and is interest in improving the quality of the institution. After analyzing the results of the surveys, it is important that the establishment acts on the results. The results should be used as a method of improvement and not as a way to place blame. There are several methods of using surveys as a data collection tool. Surveys can be mailed, performed electronically, or in a face-to-face interview. The World Wide Web, social media contexts, and technology have turned around the way people communicate, broadening consumer ability to create and share product or service-related

Patient satisfaction is a key component to identifying quality care and is being increasingly utilized as a measure for reimbursement. Healthcare systems recognize that maintaining high patient satisfaction as a priority and are searching for cost-effective improvement methods. Nursing leaders of today’s healthcare systems must be poised to take advantage of any opportunities to enhance quality of care, decrease readmissions, and increase market share through increasing patient satisfaction.
Employee morale has a significant impact on patient satisfaction. If an employee is disgruntled, a patient will indirectly or directly be affected. This will result in bad reviews, which then leads to patients seeking healthcare elsewhere. Since this measurement is so important, it is pertinent that it be measured daily. Patient satisfaction should be closely monitored not only by management, but by staff working directly with patients. Many factors other than employee moral affect a patient’s satisfaction. Overall service such as facility cleanliness, employee training, wait times, and average lengths of stay are also factors that will affect the satisfaction of individuals who visit a
Choosing where you want to attend for college is a one of the most stressful choice you have to make for your future. As a freshman in college it was difficult to choose where I wanted to attend for various reason like the learning environment and the courses offered. But after making comparisons between so many schools I chose to attend WATC. After making the transition from high school to college I, thought I was fully prepared for what college was going to be like, but instead I was wrong. When the time got closer to take my first exam for my microbiology class, I was struggling with managing my time to balancing my homework, work, friends, family, and other personal time. And as a result I received one of the worst grades I had ever gotten in a long time. Graduating with honors in high school, being on top of my class, while being involved in my school, sports, my community, and working. I started to get very worried and stressed about everything I was going through in that moment. And began to question myself if I was making the right decision for everything and I ended up realizing I needed to make changes to how well I was managing my time and making a schedule to stay on track with all my tasks. This is why I belive in order to be successful in college you must learn to manage your time by getting into the habit of developing a time schedule to help you achieve your goals. You can began by determining the goals
