I find inspiration in my passion in sportsSports help me get through school and also let me keep my grades ups to be eligible to play Sports are so fun to watch and especially football and basketball. Most sports are really fun to play because they involved some physical activity. The sport football is a really fun sport Cameron Jerrell “Cam” Newton was born on May 11, 1989 in atlanta georgia The second of three boys Newton hailed from a home in which athletics and hard work were a central part of growing up While Newton’s mother Jackie stayed on top her boys studies their father Cecil cast a large shadow over their sports lives and weekend activities Football part-time jobs and household chores kept his sons busy At Westlake High School
I have always enjoyed being involved in school activities. By the end of my high school career, I will have played volleyball and golf all four years. Although I was never the superstar or the best on the team for either sport, I always enjoyed playing and being supportive of my teammates. Getting involved with a team and making new friends has been half the fun. Not only do I play sports, but I also enjoy attending other sporting events. My favorite two sports to watch are football and basketball. While in third grade, I cheered on the 2004 Indian football team to a victory during the State game at Camp Randall. In 2012, I supported both the girls’ and boys’ basketball
While I was younger, me and my family always did sports. I played soccer, little league baseball, basketball, softball, volleyball, and track starting this year. All of these sports made me happy and joyful. The sports I play, reveal so much about me and the character people can learn from me. I am hardworking, I won't give up on anything through any circumstance. Through a hard practice or game, I will work hard till the end. I am athletic, I
I believe in the benefits of sports , I believe this because through my time of playing various different sports, it helped me is so many ways physically, mentally but more importantly helped me in other ways like working hard, trust, being a leader, etc. It is challenging fitting in time and putting in the effort at first, but if you love sports as much as I do, you will make time to do what you love. In my case I played many sports basketball, football, baseball but the one sport that stood out to me the most was soccer.
As a kid i’ve been involved with at least one sport. Growing up i only played baseball, but about 2 years of just baseball I decided to expand my horizon of sports. I joined football and soccer to try the experience of playing those sports. Soccer wasn't really my thing so after a year of playing that I quit. Growing up till 7th grade i only played baseball and football. When the season came for basketball i decided to tryout and ended up making the team. I quit football 8th grade to focus more on grades. Currently I play baseball and basketball. Growing I believe playing all these helped me to become the person I became mentally and physically. I made friends who helped me to make the right decisions and inspired to me to do these sports.
Sports teaches us discipline, how to listen, and what to do in certain situations.now I play soccer and I think this may be my sport. I know just what to do in the situation when someone is trying to steal the ball and when I get the ball, I either pass it to a teammate or try to score a goal.
Specialisation can be divided into early or late. Diversification is included of a number of sports for the athletes that specialise later. Diversification early on allows the athlete to explore different sports growing mentally, physically, cognitively, and socially in a positive environment.
It has been identified that through sports psychology one can improve their physical ability and performance. Sports psychology is the study of how the mind, mental states and behaviour effect sporting performance. There are several sport psychology techniques, which have helped me become a better volleyball player. These techniques include planning for performance, controlling arousal levels, mental rehearsal and concentration.
In life people make a lot of choice, and how they spend their free time is one of those. Some people might choose to spend all day on a computer, some might study or read all the time, and others might choose to spend some time playing sports. I was one such person in high school, and chose to join the swim team. I played a sport so that I could have fun, make friends, and compete.
Golf is a game of passion, frustration and integrity. Many think that golf is a simple game and they would be right in many ways, but simple and easy are two different things that often get confused. Golf could be considered an art form such as when a painter has to use the correct technique, bushes and paint a golfer has to use the correct technique, clubs and accessories. It is a game that needs constant work you will never master it this frustrates most but is why I have such a passion for the game. There is always room for improvement this is what the famous Bobby Jones was meaning when he said “No-one will ever have golf under his thumb. No round ever will be so good it could not have been better. Perhaps this is why golf is the greatest of games. You are not
I have a deep passion for tennis, ever since I started playing it I thought “this, this is what I want to do.” I really enjoy playing with my friends every Thursday after school, from four to five thirty. It has taught me to control my physical strength, it tests my reflexes, and my ability to make quick judgements. Tennis doesn’t just teach me to rely on myself alone, it teaches me to rely on others too and to communicate with them. In a sport such as tennis communication is very important, if a double team miscommunicates then the game is as good as lost. I learned to trust my teammates judgements as well as my own. In a game of tennis against a skilled opponent I have to be able to think quick on my feet and be quick on my feet as well. I
Since the day I’ve saved a goal, to my first hit on a baseball field, my passion for sports has invariably given me a dose of adrenaline unlike any other. In my search for my perfect dose, like chef, I venture and try things that I am not familiar with. In high school, I endeavored into distinct branches of physical endurance. Baseball taught me how to strategize in moments of brief thoughts and Hurdles (Track and Field) have taught me that in order to achieve my goal I must concentrate on my objective and go after it relentlessly.
Doing sports is how I met my friends. This event has shaped me in all ways because if I had bad friends i would be a bad person and that could affect everything including my schoolwork.Your friend group is one of the most important things that can shape who you are and when you have an extra activity such as sports it can help to keep you away from bad influences and addictions.Everybody knows your friend group determines who you are. Also people who do sports normally have an
Growing up I had a passion for sports, and it has now lead me to pursue a career as a sports commentator. I love watching all sports reason being is because there is no specific gene pool every athlete brings something different to the court and/or
Being an athlete can be hard or just inconvenient with have long school days. The athlete could be hurt educationally{not having a good grade, ect.} Most of the time students will be too tired to try and might lose time on the field for lacking effort in practice. A student can also be too tired or not have enough time, depending on how long practices are, to do homework. School is supposed to provide education but if a student is not doing homework due to long school days and practice right after, he/she will not be able to maintain a good grade due to the fact of not completing their assignments.A student might not even be able to study properly causing them to lack information needed to pass a test or quiz. In HHS, if someone were to be
2) I believe playing sports can help many people throughout their long life and also through many years of school. Trophies, gold medals, and awards are a few reasons why you might play a sport, but there is something else that you can also gain in trying to achieve your goal. All the work you put in for a particular sport can set you up for success and also can set you up for failure, but it can also leave you with something that you will remember for the rest of your life.
