Finally the day has come that Jr. and I. get out of jail. We had our good friend T-dawg pick us up. He pulled up in his Chevy impala with his 28 inch spinner rims and competition hydraulic lifts. He pulled up and simply said get yo cracka pasty lookin selves up in my whip before I pop a cap in yo man. Jr. and I simply responded we didn’t know you had a daughter and that we missed him too. T-dawg was always such a nice guy he used to give homemade candy to all the adults and kids on the street in exchange for just a little bit of cash. Since Jr. and I had been sprung from the pokey we were broke and homeless and needed some cash. We decided that this time we were going to do things right and this time go for the big bucks. We were going to rob the …show more content…
and I made a dash towards the register and tried to pry it open with a crowbar. But sadly are idea kind of back fired and we ended up having to blow up the cash register with dynamite, that we had brought just in case. We then took as much money as we could fit in our Jones BBQ and foot massage to go bag and headed towards the door. We ran to T-Dawgs fresh whip but when we got there the Chinese lady that had been in the restaurant had dragged T-Dawg out of the car and was beating him. Jr. and I were in a hurry so sadly we had to leave T-Dawg in the parking lot with the Chinese lady because the cops were coming and fast. Jr. tried to gun it but instead of pushing the gas pedal he pushed a switch which made the hydraulic lifts on the car start jumping. We didn’t know how to turn it off so we just gassed it with the car still jumping. Well the car ended up flipping over and still dazed Jr. and I stayed in the car while T-dawg on the other hand bailed decided to make a run for it. T-Dawg didn’t get far before the cops tazed and maced him. Jr. and I were maced as well for reasons we still do not know, and brought back to jail. We are here in jail now making animals out of soap and waiting to get out if we ever do
I remember a time when I was working on the med-surg floor. We had an inmate who was admitted as a patient with cirrhosis of the liver to remain in the hospital for a while when an inmate is admitted they are automatically placed on opt out list which means no one cans know he is in the hospital not even a family. Well on this particular day his son somehow I found out where he was located he attempted to go to the room and the guard would not let him in the room. The sun became very loud and shouted you go to let me in that room or I am calling my boys. It was apparent he was in a game we all was afraid he was going to shoot the place up I happen to be patient I called security which seemed to make him even madder once they got to the floor
One day there was a boy named Robbert. He had no friends because he steals. Even his mom and dad do not trust him. When Robbert got older, in his twenties, he duplicated keys to open other peoples doors and threatened them. While he was twenty eight years old, he felt too lonely. So he went to his mom and dad's home. It was locked. He could not find them. He asked a person near by his parent's house if she know about Robbert's mom and dad. The person knew Robbert as a famous robber, so she ran away.
this speech i'm going to tell you how i went to jail and how i got there and what i did to change,
His plan was to rob a Golden Pantry. He thought it all out and decided to kill some time while waiting for the cashier to be alone. He fulfilled that plan by applying for a job while he waited. On his application, he put his real name and contact information. He then proceeded to rob the store. It wasn't too long before he got called in for an interview.
Hey little brother sorry you can't call. I don't have any money on the phone. I haven't spoken with Mj in a month. I am so heartbroken. Your wife told me the great news and I am so happy for you both. Like I told Lamont I really don't talk to no one in Michigan. Kristy (1-2 times a week) Aretha and Fred (every other 3-4 months) maybe. Mom and Cass never. So that's that. You, Lamont and Mj are my concerns as long as you all let me be in your lives I will be. I love all my family dearly; however, along the way we have lost vital parts of who we are as a family. I think long incarcerations have made some feel that they are not family. Many people have forgotten who they are as simply Africans but on a basic level in this family we have forgotten
On August 8th, 2012 I received a call from an unknown number, claiming to be from the Northern Nevada Correctional Center (NNCC). I had no idea who could be calling me from that number at 7:38PM. I heard a familiar voice on the other line telling me to stay calm and go to my step mothers house, that same familiar voice also told me that he was arrested and convicted of a felony. My heart sunk into my stomach, tears running down my face, feeling paralyzed with no words to speak, not knowing what to ask or say. That familiar voice was my dad, this call happened 5 days after my birthday, the first birthday that he actually remembered after 10 years. Never in a million years would I have thought on receiving an alarming
I had my favorite smoothie in the cup holder of my favorite car, a jeep wrangler, 2000, navy blue with a tan top. The Jeep needed some attention about every month or so. A couple weeks before the incident I had told my father that my brakes were acting a little “funny,” nothing was done about it, my mistake. That late afternoon I was on my way back to my high school to pick up a couple of my friends that stayed longer than I did. I was leaving from my house which as some people called it “in the boonies.” Once I got on the main road highway 21 with the speed limit being 55, there is an enormous hill that you have to go down. At the bottom of the hill there was a car at a complete stop that was trying to turn in to the local garden center. After I had realized the car was there I proceeded on smashing on my breaks. Three out of the four tires had gotten locked which was not ideal in this case. As soon as the breaks locked I had skidded all the way down the hill unable to stop.
According to Stevenson wrote, “Today we have the highest rate of incarceration in the world.” (15). In the United States, one of the primary goals of the prison system is to rehabilitate prisoners that they will not commit again. Unfortunately, some individuals will be back to their life of crime for some reasons. Lack of support, lack of relationships, and inability to obtain employment are the essential causes of recidivism today.
Moreover the jail will hire people who are wanted in other states, and pass them fully and not even look into their backgrounds enough to know. This happened with one male CO which was wanted by the police in Kentucky, because of the disappearance of a girlfriend. The one thing I'm trying to get across is, this jail has a very biased system it using for hiring. Sadly by posting this they will more than likely questions my father and sister. Then have both of them, tell me not to post anything about the jail. Because if your family works there you magically lose all first ammendment rights, which I thought we still had in America. The sad but true thing in any job is knowing names, my dad threw out my sisters and got the job. My mother
I am working with children from birth to three years. The big challenge for me this week is to get all the required paperwork done, but I have trouble completing these papers. As a result, I have to change the place and my supervising professional, and that is hard to me especially when I completed the paper getting started and the interview with my old supervising professional. Now, I have to find my new supervising professional and to do all the required papers for getting started. I finally met with the principle of the new place today and she told me that they just have one child who diagnosed as having Down syndrome. In fact, as I understood that I have to work with more than a child and that is not available in the new sitting.
My second week at the court house was long but eye opening. I learned so much about the criminal justice system. I leaned that each procedure and each role a person play is crucial to someone life. On Tuesday, the day was short but still alarming. I came in and shadow one of the clerks as she was preparing for court. As the clerk was setting up for court I remember trying to recognize which department is what on each traffic ticket. I felt confuse, but the clerk show who was trooper, SUNY New Paltz police, and state police/ She remind that I will eventually learn who is who and how to set up for court. I felt better about what she said and I was ready for court. I notice that court will be short today because we did not have many cases. I began
There was a man named jack he would robbed stores banks and he would robbed your house to and the cops they could not catch jack he has robbed all the houses in the neighborhood he just needed to rob a store and he said when he that store he is going to leave and then the next day he went In the store to robbed the store he had a hat on and then he pulled the gun out and he told the guy give me the money and he jack says give me the money or I will shoot you and then he put the money in the bag and the clerk he had a red button and he clicked it and it called the police and the cop came and they got there in time as jack was leaving the cops were coming in the store and then jack pulled the gun out and started shooting and then jack killed
Red and blue lights, someone called me in yet again. Nothing is new about someone calling me in after I run from my parents. A routine has actually been fashioned between me and my parole officer, Ann.
Was there ever a time where you got in trouble and your parents kept getting onto you? In the three essays we have read, there were people who tried to help teenagers with their bad habits. The helpers forced them to think about their future. If these people let their lives go, then they will end up either dead or in jail. Appeals to fear are the best motivational force.
“And this woman's case stands she broke the law and she committed the worst crime which is a death” Is there any objections”
