Our Veterans,Our Heroes “A hero is a man that is afraid to run away” -English Proverb.” That is what our veterans are, heroes. They should be respected for the sacrifices and honored for the things they do. They love are country because they fight for our country. They are brave enough to fight because they love. Our heroes make sacrifices. Our veterans make sacrifices because they care about us and they want to protect us from danger, so we can be safe.We should thank them every time we see them to inform them that we care. we should be thankful to each other not hateful. They are brave enough to go to war even when we are afraid.they are brave enough to save, fight, and die for us.It takes a lot of courage to fight for us.We would be alive
Why are veterans our hero? Throughout the years with wars, combat, etc veterans have risked their lives to thousands of people everyday just so they can live the American lifestyle everyone wants.
What are heroes? “A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself.” So that means a hero could be a veteran because without them, there would be no United States of America, not even life, liberty, nor happiness.
Veterans are american heroes because they protect our rights. The reason why veterans protect our right is so we can have a better future.Veterans are also american heroes because they fought in many battles and they put their life’s in DANGER!The reason why veterans are american heroes is veterans want freedom because people should have the right to do what they want to do but, by the law.
I believe America's veterans should be honored because they have helped to keep freedom in our country. Without them we would have lost many important wars which have affected our freedom and quality of life. They have kept our country strong and full of pride. I think they were very brave for being on the front lines of our wars and battles. Even those who were not on the front lines but served as backups were brave for helping and supporting those that were fighting on the battlefields. They are courageous for putting their lives in danger
Veterans are considered heroes because they risk their lives on the battlefield to protect our country. They don’t know if they will be able to see the next day. I consider veterans heroes because they protect our rights and freedom. They have faced dangers that we would not want to be in. They are heroes because they were brave enough to choose to serve in the military. They protect our lives from other countries that would want to invade our country. Veterans have served our country for many years. They are heroes to everyone’s eyes and to the U.S.
Veterans sacrificed their lives for us. A lot of those soldiers never thought they would have to actually go out and hurt someone. Throughout the battle a lot of people were really bad hurt and a lot did not make it. A lot gave there arms, and legs for us. They didn’t run away they stood their ground and gave their lives for us. The ones that got hurt or had scars will be the ones you can tell that never ran. Those are the ones that mabey saw others run, but stayed with tears but keep going. For these reasons, we should always be respectful and be glad they did it for us.
hat a Veteran means to me. A veteran to me is a person fighting for our country, leaving their life and family pretty much leaving their life to guarantee our safety and keeping us from harm's way. They are someone who has made it where we can be free without veterans to be there for us in the past wars we wouldn't be the great nation we are today. In my opinion we should value veterans then they are. We all have a lot to thank veterans for. Veterans are the men and women that leave the life they always knew to help up they are the real heros. Veterans put the stress of fighting so they won't have to worry about their friends and family are safe at home by fighting, training, and going through hard times all for us. We should honor and thank
Throughout US history, many wars and battles were fought that marked America. Fighting within those wars were brave soldiers, which to this day, we know as veterans. Veterans are important to our nation's history and future, as they have contributed to make America the great and prosperous nation that it is today. Veterans, along with other respected groups of people, deserve the nation's uttermost respect for all the contributions they have made to this country known as America.
We honor our veterans because every day they put their lives on the line to protect our country; to preserve the freedom of this great land. Without question, without hesitation, these brave people come forth every day to help defend the 350 million people
When the Founding Fathers designed this nation, they made a point to include the rights that our mother country, Great Britain, denied us. Even before our Independence, we thrived, served honorably by our great military. In fact, the United States spends more on our military than the next seven top spenders, showing how important it really is. Accordingly, we really need to honor our veterans, they have helped to keep our country free, they stand up for our rights as citizens of this splendid country, and particularly this world, and they risk their lives for the lives of others, particularly yours and mine.
America gave my generation Freedom and the right to vote. My generation should respect the veterans more and we should be thankful for our freedom. My generation should respect the veterans more because the fought for the rights we have today we should be thankful, we should not take granit for it. Another thing is that they fought and they lost their brother and they fought on even though they were mourning on their loss. The last thing is why should you disrespect your veterans without them we would not have the rights we have today.
While I admire the work that many veterans have done, I don’t believe that I would be able to make the same sacrifices as they did. As a service to their country, they took it upon themselves to protect those unknown to them. They are a part of something greater than themselves in which they are essential to the outcome of the whole. All roles are of equal importance because without them all our rights would be unfound. There would be no freedom of speech or right to a fair trial. Our country would be without purpose if we
People who have served in the military are the ones that have provided our nation with liberty and safety. They are the ones that took up arms in the World Wars, the Civil War, the Revolutionary War, and all other wars that this nation has been involved in. Many of the veterans of these wars have passed on by now, but those who are still on this Earth are held in reverence and viewed with honor. They were crucial to the continuation of our nation’s peace and unity. Imagine what America would be like without their bravery and sacrifices. Without veterans, there would be no “land of the free.” Without the World War I and II veterans, we would be living in a country, no, a world, where individuality and freedom would no longer exist. Without the veterans of the Civil War, the whole, united nation that we know today as America would not have been possible. Without the veterans of the American Revolution, there wouldn’t even be an America. The men and women that participated in these wars are heroes. They never gave up on this nation, whether they thought that they had a chance or not, and in many of these instances, they pulled through. Veterans never cease to be heroes, whether it be a time of peace or a time of war, whether they are alive, or they have passed on, and they will always be
As General George S. Patton said in a speech, “ The real hero is the man who fights even though he is scared. Some men get over their fright in a minute under fire. For some, it takes an hour, for others, it takes days. But a real man will never let his fear of overpower his honor, his sense of duty to his country, and his innate manhood. Battle is the most magnificent competition in which a human being can indulge. It brings out all that is best and it removes all that is base” (wikiquotes). I believe this to be true because a hero isn’t just someone who causes trouble, but is one who sacrifices their life for the lives of others . General George S. Patton was a senior officer of the United States Army, who commanded the U.S. Seventh Army
Millions of men and women have died and been severely injured fighting for our country to get one step closer to freedom. George Washington once said, “The willingness with which our young people are likely to serve in any war, no matter how justified, shall be directly proportional to how they perceive the veterans of earlier wars were treated and appreciated by their nation.” This quote couldn’t be more accurate. They men and women that have served this country are braver than anyone I know and they do get the respect they deserve.
