My opinion is that it is not fair because animals should not be having so much of presure and risk on their selveles. They should tamed if it is a pet but animals out and wild are to be enjoying, living it's life.It is good that they are being fead and that stuff, but animals are like a nother human been they should be treted with respect. Ostriches Racing Im saying osriches should not be riden on because one it dose not seem nice to be torchering them and two by looking at it just makes me feel bad, anything could happen to them like to die with to much force ,but shure they have long legs that can cover over 16 feet and way 300 pounds.Ostiriches have rights too and feelings.
However, placing animals at the same level of humans is somewhat blemished. Animals do indeed have rights, although they are
There are significant arguments on both sides of the issue, but the real issues are keeping the animals in captivity, keeping them alive, keep the cycle of life continuing to grow and produce all that nature intended. Many believe for the purpose of learning more about ourselves as humans with have the right to explore our possibilities with the similarities of those of the mammal species. Theses people argue for the acceptable need for capturing the animals in the wild and keep them in a protected environment, there are several points to stated and generally cited. Theses include:
Many people nowadays have different views on what exactly to define animals as, and whether or not they deserve any rights. Some believe that they are nothing more than a childhood pet used for entertainment, while others believe that they are beautiful exquisite animals. Currently, animals inside of a household have more rights that cattle or chicken since they are treated as another member of the family. I think that all animals are worthy of moral consideration, not just house pets, since all animals have enough intelligence to be domesticated, they can all feel emotions such as pain and happiness, they can all care about the wellbeing of others, and they all play a critical role in the circle of life.
According to the “Universal Declaration of the Rights of Animals” written by the International League of the Rights of Animals in September of 1977 animals have similar right to those of humans. Animals have a right to live with respect and shall not be killed without reason. They shall not be denied the right to reproduce, or have the freedom of living in their natural habitat (Opposing Viewpoints 20). Activism in animal rights first began in the late 1960s because a documentary from Canada showed baby seals being beat to death with clubs was shown across the world. When people saw the documentary, they were outraged and started a massive animal-rights movement, which is now targeting factory farms (“Key Issue: Animal Rights” 1).
To sum up they should have their rights and we should stop animal cruelty. They are more like us than we imagined, by all the facts that were giving we know that now. We share the earth with these beautiful animals, we all feel pain, we all think, and we all have a heart. If we have rights why don't they then? What if we were in their
It should be that way for every animal. It sadness me to hear that people
For the longest time, college athletes have poured their heart into their sport and worked very hard every day of every week. These athletes have proven themselves enough to able to show off their ability and talents at a university. These college athletes have a job and work too. Their job is to bring in money for the university they are playing for. In order for these athletes to play well enough to be considered able to bring in profit for the university, they must play a sport that they love to play and not a sport that they are forced to play. Over time, the main question that is on everyones mind is should students that play the sport they love for a university get paid simply because they are a college athlete that is displayed on television. My goal for this paper is to inform you of the reasons I believe they should get paid.
Dr.King gives a great definition of an unjust law saying, “A law is unjust if it is inflicted on a minority that, as a result of being denied the right to vote, had no part in enacting or devising the law,” since animals cannot create their own laws we as people have to care for them and make sure that they are not treated unjustly, and when a crime has been committed against them justice should entail immediately (383). King also states, “justice too long delayed is justice denied,” and these words ring true in the case of animal rights since many animals are in such dire situations that time is always of the essence
selfish reasons. And lastly, they should be in captivity because they make a lot of money off of
Who are we to play God and decide who lives and who dies? Surely people can see that an animal’s life is just as important as a human’s life, because they are one in the same.
Most humans tend to be in this trouble middle when it comes to their relationship with animals. They are concerned about the cruel ways animals are treated, but still contribute to it by eating animals, keeping them as pets or watching bullfights. They are aware of how unethical these actions are but continue to do it for their personal gain or enjoyment. Some also have complicated reasoning such as thinking it’s acceptable to eat certain types of animals and not others. Typically this type of reasoning varies depending on the region where one lives. For example, most people who live in the United States of America (U.S.A) think it is appalling to eat a dog while it is completely acceptable in places like China. Similarly, it is acceptable to eat beef in the U.S.A, but not in India due to their religious belief of the cow being sacred. These different cultures and religion have resulted in it being acceptable to eat certain animals in some places and unethical to do so in others. To avoid this troubled middle, all animals should be treated equally so that if it is unethical to eat one type of animal it should be unethical to eat all types of animals.
“Tachyons are subatomic particles that travel not only at the speed of light, but also all the way up to infinity,” Pars revealed. “The breakthrough came when we detected the Tachyon particles in the northern Aurora Borealis and later also in the southern Aurora Australis. In other words, the solar storms shed plasma containing many charged particles such as electrons and protons that collect in the north and south of the Earth’s magnetic field. These charged particles in the plasma excite the gas in Earth’s atmosphere producing glowing auroras as well as Tachyons in the process. The auroras are in the thermosphere, between five hundred and a thousand kilometers above the Earth.
Exotic animals belong in the wild because the reason they are exotic is because they cannot be tamed like any other pet, and if they can’t be tamed, they can become a harm to the owner and to others that the animal feel threatened by. Injury and possibly death is likely to happen under such circumstances of the animals being neglected. Another reason why I believe that exotic animals do not belong under human captivity as pets is because it is harmful to the pets and the nature of them. Some animals need their families to survive and they also need to learn to hunt in order for them to survive. Once an exotic animal becomes the pet of someone, it becomes dependent which is unhealthy for the animal, especially if they are brought under captivity at such an early age. Owning exotic animals as keeping them as pets should be illegal is what I believe is right.
I adopted the “Six Pillars of Character” at a very young age. My preschool and elementary school adopted the “Character Counts” program and set the framework for my character through these six ethical values; trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship. As I have matured, my achievements and experiences have helped finalize the framework my previous teachers and role models have set. I have been a student of honor with distinction since middle school. I have achieved a 4.0 GPA my last three years of high school.
"The voice of the natural world would be , ' Could you please give us space and leave us alone to get along with our own lives...we actually know how to do it much better than when you start interfering'" ( Jane Goodall). Wild animals have the right to live their lives their own way, rather than be manipulated by people. For many years, zoos, aquariums, circuses, and other entertainment places have kept wild animals in captivity and neglected them the ability to live a natural life in the way and place they should. They are wrongly used for the entertainment of human kind. Millions of people visit these places to experience what we call "fun", however they do not take the chance to think of the kind of detrimental lives the animals’ experience.
