Organization Behavior is how people interact around organizations, and how people behave with their external environment. In the Winter Survival Exercise, we were given a scenario which we had to read and had to rank the items from most important to least important on a scale of 1-14. This exercise was done in a group where we had to make an attempt towards achieving a certain goal, which was to survive the crash. My group consisted of four girls including me, that all had different principles, judgements and personalities, thus enabling us to have a discussion and share different perspectives on the possible outcomes. In this assignment, we did not have any not have any appointed leader, however we did try persuading one another as to why we believed our personal choice was reasonable. This assignment helped me understand the depth of Organizational Behavior, and I realized how one’s personality can affect the choices made by the group. The core elements of Organizational Behavior my group experienced are effective decision making, work processes and systems. Team composition was a core element our group had encountered. Our team was diverse, composed of many cultural differences. Although all of us were females, I realized that residing from a certain culture impacts the way one makes their decisions. Being raised in a Tamil culture, where an individual is always judged by the way they act, dress, talk and so on, I realized that I am somewhat biased. When I gathered
Walter Nugent and Norman Graebner explains their view on if the Mexican War was an exercise in American Imperialism or not. Nugent believes that the war was an exercise in American Imperialism. He explains that the United States were imperialistic from the beginning and to expand their territory was one of the primary objectives. Graebner on the other hand does not believe that the war was an exercise of American Imperialism. He suggests that the war occurred from a lack of communication and believes that President James Polk wanted a war. He made a decision to take over territory initially by negotiations but, those negotiations didn’t work which left him with his final decision; war. This war has impacted the United States and Mexico
My team members are Sara, Wei, Rijuta, Rohit, and Craig. We are one of the more, if not most, culturally diverse groups in the class because we hail from China, India, New Zealand and the Philippines. When looking at our majors, there was not much diversity because five of us are in Marketing and only Rohit is in Global Business. Only four of us in Marketing have been classmates in the previous term and prior to this term, we never experienced working together as a team. Sara told us she wanted to be in a team where everyone would pull their own weight, and she said that it looked that each of us wanted the same thing. The six of us agreed to form a team because we all valued

The human condition has been explored throughout time and its study has primarily allowed us to learn from our past and develop as people. The Elizabethan era is very different from the world today as our values and beliefs have changed to suit our level of knowledge and intelligence. These differences become clear when exploring an audience 's response to William Shakespeare’s Macbeth, from the Elizabethan era and today. The text was written in 1606 and was set in Scotland. The tragedy construes what egotistical ambition can do to the mind. Key themes of loyalty and betrayal, the increase in intelligence of humans, the way laws govern society and the balance in power between genders affect an audience 's response to Macbeth. Specifically

Organizational behavior is the behavior of individuals, either one or a group. It is not the behavior of an organization, but rather the behavior of the people in an organization. This can be anywhere from a family at home to a church to a work group within a company. Some of the challenges that make behaviors challenging in today’s workplace are high performance, ethical behavior, productivity improvement, technology utilization, quality, diversity, work-life balance, and the global economy, (Schermerhorn, 2003, P. 1).
