Vincent Van Gogh was a unique person. Painting wasn’t his passion. He tried many carries in his life but nothing interested. By his brother Theo’s help Vincent started art career. 1889 Vincent painted a landscape painting using oil. Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh is one of famous piece of art. The reason why he painted this art was, Vincent was suffered with mental health issues. While Vincent was in the hospital in France this is the view he used to see every day through his window. Anyone who looking at first in this painting, it drags attention on the tree, traveled across the landscape, grazed the starts and swirling wind and landed on moon. Not only that the little village below the sky. Vincent Van Gogh, used many principles and elements on his work of art. The great wave lines are representing the sky, and the way it draws gives the feeling of movement. It gives the audience an implied motion. It’s a visual clue which tells people the clouds are moving and the swirling wind. The shapes are all wavy and indefinite. This will give the impression of a true night. The texture of the lines has short strokes instead of long and drawn out strokes. Vincent used cool and clam colors. Such as blue and green. Color blue represent cool, clarm and prefect night.
