His morals are also part of what defines him as a hero. He is constantly surrounded by people who only care about themselves and nobody else. That is not how Winston is though, he genuinely cares about others around him, and the human race as a whole, and that also is a good quality of a hero.
Ronald Reagan was a democrat that became president during the Cold War times. Many people reference his presidency but don't know about the ideals and actions he undertook as president. Other than being known as the "Great Communicator", Reagan is also known for other things that will go down in History. One of those is Reaganomics and how it positively affected the economy but sadly tripled the national debt, his foreign policy, and the Iran-contra scandal. Reaganomics was Reagan's economic plan and nowadays it is called trickle down economics.

Ronald Reagan was the 40th President of the United States. He was a conservative Republican with a fascinating life story that draws an illustration of the causes and effects of his evolving views and character. His administration saw disasters, turmoil, and scandals while also winning various victories that changed the course of history forever. Some of these include less nuclear weaponry in the world and the end of the Cold War. Unfortunately, there were also some problems such as the infamous Iran-Contra Affair, and the theory of Reaganomics that was never quite able to be considered a real success for the majority of Americans. While he may not have been the best president, he is an interesting subject to learn from, analyze, and understand.
His approval rating was phenomenal as he succeeded in restoring the economy, helped put an end to the tensions of the Cold War, and took a huge step forward in women’s equality by appointing Sandra Day O’Connor as the first female Supreme Court justice. Yet he also failed to address the chaos of the HIV/AIDS epidemic that affected many Americans and fumbled in actually enacting some of his foreign policies. Countless conservatives today look to President Reagan as an idol, as the best president the U.S. has ever had, as a god among men, but he was simply a man among men. He did some good things and was a likeable, kind person so he did very well in the eyes of the American public, but he made some mistakes as well. As far as presidents go, he was good, but he was nothing

Traditionally, "The Hero" is a character with unmatched strength who fights for the people and accomplishes impossible tasks. Beowulf, the great hero of northern Europe, slays the man-eating demon, Grendel, because the people were being terrorized by Grendel, and they could not defeat the demon themselves. Hercules, the most well-known of the Greek heroes, overcomes many insurmountable hardships, such as strangling two snakes sent to kill him as a baby, as well as rescuing princesses and aiding in expeditions. One popular Chinese hero, Da Yu, emerges from his father's corpse as a dragon; he builds a dam on a river that floods frequently and uses it for irrigation, he even goes on to establish a dynasty. These heroes accomplish amazing and respectable deeds, but they pick sides. The worlds they live in are black and white, good and evil; these heroes do what they believe unquestionably "right." These unflinchingly "good" heroes are ones I am unable to relate to; I find their characters paper thin. The world I live in is not black and white; the morals of the people I am surrounded by are relative. Therefore, the hero I connect most to is Ashitaka: the hero who fights for
The history of colonization of Africa dates back to 1800’s where European nations invaded African countries due to factors such as industrial revolution, need for raw materials, and desire to expand territory. Religion played a huge role in African history since some missionaries who came to African countries to spread Christianity were working together with colonialists. The article, “Role of Missionaries in Colonization of Africans” explains how the missionaries perceived Africans and the African culture. It was their mission to do anything necessary to convert Africans who were viewed as uncivilized and barbaric” cite The view
A hero is someone that shows courage and bravery and is admired for their actions. Sometimes, a hero is someone unexpected and would never have been thought to be a hero by anyone because of who they are, or what and where they come from. One example of unexpected heroism, is from three greasers, Dallas Winston, Johnny Cade, and Ponyboy Curtis from The Outsiders.
