I am glad your technique worked for you child and you both enjoyed peaceful sleep. I would like to draw yours and others fellow classmates attention to another important matter about parents’ right to refuse medical based healing for their child and adopting spiritual based healing. Christian Scientist parents have refuse to provide medical treatment to their children and so many cases were resisted against them after the death of their children.
The important case was registered against David and Ginger Twitchell, a Christian Science couple from Massachusetts who relied on prayer rather than medical treatment, as their young 2 years old son Robyn Twitchell died of obstructed bowel, after a painful fight for his life for a week. The parents
The Cruzan verses Director, Missouri Department of Health was a United States Supreme Court case involving a young adult, Nancy Cruzan that was deemed incompetent. The case caught widespread attention as it was the first case ever heard by the court that discussed how and when families could decide to withdraw nourishment or medical treatment in order to bring about the death of an incompetent family member. (Wold, Judith & Demi, 1991). For 8 years, Nancy Cruzan had been in a vegetative state showing no sign of improvement. After being in the hospital for over a month, Cruzan’s family went to the courts to request the artificial feeding and hydration be terminated so that their daughter could die a dignified
Let’s begin with the obvious, all women have had their period. This process is as natural as eating, peeing, drinking and sleeping. Now have any of you ever walked into a bathroom and had to pay for the toilet paper? No, you haven’t. I’m sure that it also never occurred to anyone to carry around toilet paper in case they had to do their business away from home. For sanitary reasons we want people to wipe their behinds. For sexist reasons, we don’t offer the same concern for women who don’t want to bleed on furniture or their clothes. After years of women being shamed into not talking about periods more and more are speaking up.
A woman name Angela Hundley and her family were away on a family vacation in the Dominican Republic. While there Angela ate fish that caused her to become very ill. Two weeks after they returned home from their vacation she was diagnosed with ciguatera poisoning. She could not open her eyes or lift her head. The doctor informed the family that the poisoning was untreatable, and an incurable. Angela felt like she was in a comma, she couldn’t move but she could hear everything. She could hear her children playing but she couldn’t play with them. She remembers her husband taking her to her church for prayer and at the alter she recalls her pastor asking her “Angela have you thanked God through any of this, even if you don’t see another day,
Picture this, you are in an unsafe environment where you are receiving death threats from public officials and being publicly beaten by your military. With nowhere else to go you desperately seek the asylum of a neighboring country and, with no thought or any consideration, you are abruptly turned away, and forced to stay where your life is in danger. This is the fate of Mexican journalist Javier Valdez, and many other Mexican citizens in need of help from the US. By putting up a wall, the US is to blame for many lives living in danger south of the US border. The US should not build a wall along the border shared with Mexico.
"In the neighborhoods, terrorized New Yorkers began freelancing solutions. Cats, many people concluded, were responsible for spreading the bug. And so cats were bludgeoned and drowned by the tens of thousands. ... In houses where polio had already struck, the animals were murdered with special fury, flung by rage-blind parents into the rivers - sometimes when the cats were already dead, sometimes when they were still alive.

It's like Hillary's worse nightmare come true, her "Basket of Deplorables" has taken on a life of it's own and instead of outrage from the right... For probably the first time ever, we love Hillary.

I was hoping that they would have kicked in but unfortunately, I am still nauseous and my stomach cramping along with the abdominal pain have not subsided. I have requested another PTO day for today. During the years of 1975 and 1976, a Supreme Court Case was fought that changed the world of biomedical ethics. On April 14, 1975, twenty-one-year-old Karen Quinlan experienced severe brain damage after ingesting a combination of narcotics and alcohol. Shortly after this, she lost consciousness and quit breathing for two periods of fifteen minutes each The young woman’s doctors declared her brain dead due to the irreversible trauma that her brain had endured with the combination of drugs and lack of oxygen. She was promptly put on a respirator and a feeding tube. As Quinlan’s condition deteriorated within the following months, a team of doctors working at St. Clare’s Hospital diagnosed her as being in a persistent vegetative state with no hope of recovery. It was noted in the case that the family had proven to be devout Catholics, as well as the girl up until recent years. Upon receiving the diagnosis, the parents of Karen Quinlan requested that the respirator be removed from their daughter’s treatment so that their daughter could die with “grace and dignity.” (qtd. from the NY Times) The young woman’s doctors; however, refused to comply with this request. On September 12, 1975, the parents sued the hospital. In November of the same year, the judge assigned to the case ruled in favor of the doctors, but the decision was then reversed and the case went to the New Jersey Supreme Court. On March 31, 1976, in a
