Every obstacle life throws your way is turned into a good thing because it will help you gain an experiences. By living through a though patch in life humans just get up brush the dust off their shoulders and keep on keeping on. It doesn’t matter if their dealing with failure, lost, or death we always get back up and continue moving forward. When I was younger I was bullied by half of my elementary class mates. Everyone would just watch as I was getting beat up by the main kid. Never once did I give up and trough out all those beatings I learned a way to defend my-self. I memorized every punch and kick he would throw at me and eventually I stood up to him. I showed him that he couldn’t pick on me or anyone else. Eventually he learned to forgive
During the winter of 1609-1610, 90% of the colonists perished in an episode now called the “starving time”. But did the starving time kill all of the colonists, or did something else have something to do with the sudden deaths. Some of the deaths may have been caused by starvation, but I think that deliberate poisoning did the most damage.
Life has up's and down's but you can get through because people come together to help. For instance, in the book Fever, 1793, the Free African Society went around to help the yellow fever victims. The doctors thought the Africans were immune to the disease because hardly any Africans died. When people come together, like the Africans helping the victims, you can get through it. You can get through it when people come together, because everyone starts working together instead of avoiding the
Life is the toughest thing you will do in your life. It is the test on how well you can survive the world, and all of its cruel punishments. It is the assessment on how to cope with the bad, so the good times seem greater. Life can throw a enormous amount of cruel events that sometimes are unavoidable. Not everything in life is bad, but people tend to make things much worse than what they really are. People over exaggerate many events that could be easily fixed, but then there are the people who are not exaggerating the paing and irony they are facing. There is a number of ways of how to cope with tragedies, such as being with friends, talking with family, or just doing something fun to keep your mind off of the harsh environments
Overpopulation always has been one of the essential problems that China needs to pay attention to. In 1979, Chinese government promulgated a law called ‘one-child policy’ that official name is ‘family planning policy’, which purpose is to slow down the rate of population growth and control the size of the total population. This paper using calibrated general-equilibrium models that compared benchmark with a fertility constraint and counterfactual experiment to study the effects of China’s one-child policy. The results indicate that one-child policy mainly effected six fields of China. First, the one-child policy promoted human capital of China and increased per
Life is hard. It throws challenges at us in the blink of an eye, not caring how we handle those challenges, and then throws another. The challenges can be small or unnoticeable. On the other end, it can be life changing, from injuries to death of loved ones. These events are impossible to throw aside and how we handle them is how life changes.
A few years later I became a golden glove champion, and won 29 out of 30 amateur bouts and gun violence, murdered Damon in Brooklyn we had become close friends by then. Obviously, after my fight with Damon nobody ever bullied me again, I simply wouldn’t allow it. And one strategy, I know from hands-on experience that won’t work is talking to the parents of the bully. My mother tried that and until I stood up to Damon it only made matters worse! If more people would stand up to bullies, bullies wouldn’t have anyone to pick on. My prevention program would target the victims of bullies. I’ve coached and mentored hundreds of adolescents in boxing and although boxing is violent by nature. It is a sport and a defense mechanism against people that want to inflict harm on the innocent. And although I don’t promote abusing other people in the street with it, I always encourage my fighters to use what I teach them to their advantage should they ever feel a bully backs them into a corner. Unfortunately, violence begets violence and on occasion, you must fight back to prevent it from occurring again on the grounds that absolutely no child should ever fear another. Consequently, running away from bullies only worked for
There was one incident in middle school that I will never forget. After gym class one day in 7th grade, two kids came up to me and started calling me weird and annoying because of something I couldn’t control. I told them to go away, and this just made them insult me more, added fire to the flame. They kept going and going. When I finally got the courage to stand up to them and tell them that they’re not as cool as they think they are, one of them grabbed my arm as the other one punched me. I pushed them away from me as hard as I could, and tried to get away, but one of them came back, grabbed me, punched me square in the chest and knocked the wind out of me. I doubled over in pain as two gym teachers walked past. After a minute or two of them just standing there staring at me, I told them what happened, and they said “get up, boys will be boys.” I tried telling them that they were bullying me
Standing up to a bully was super nerve racking. I was super scared and nervous. I had to make the decision whether to keep getting bullied or standing up to the bully. My choice was to stand up to him. He would always make me feel embarrassed and as if I were an alien because he would always pick on me. He would call me names in school where his only audience was.
An obstacle course was designed to help children further enhance and develop their motor skills. This course included crawling through a cement pipe, swinging across the grass holding onto a rope with both hands, and walking a narrow line drawn on the sidewalk has been planned for outdoor play. The three motor skills used in this course or locomotion, balance, rebound and airborne; the five not used are body and space perception, rhythm and temporal awareness, projectile management, fine-muscle task and tension relates. We will discuss which of the eight motor skills this course uses and the ones it failed to use; while added additional activities to obstacle course that would utilize the unused motor skills.
However, for me, elementary school is a somewhat painful memory. Throughout most of my grade school years I was bullied–physically and verbally–almost everyday. The kids on the playground would exclude me, my “friends” would be my friends one day and not the next, and then there would be the days that they kicked me or hurt me in some form or fashion. Of course, looking back now, it seems like petty, childish games, but in the moment it was a huge blow to the fragile eight year old I was. It wasn’t all terrible, though. Before the bullying I was naive, quick to trust, and fragile. Afterwards though, from all these experiences I learned forgiveness, kindness, grace, and who to place my trust in. As I grew up, I swore I’d never treat anyone the way I had been treated and I wouldn’t stand for bullying; no child should have to experience that kind of emotional and physical
In middle school I was bullied relentlessly. The boys at my middle school all ganged up on me and gave me a hard time for not being exactly like them. They saw that I stuck with the girls and they instantly associated that with me
Hardships are a permanent part of life we will always come across. They can toughen us up to the world we live in.
When I was kid, I had some conflict at school with bullies. It was very difficult at the time, and I went home every day for some time, griping to my mom and dad about it. Fortunate for me, it didn't keep going on for long, and I didn't grow up at the times like today where children could be tormented in such a large number of various ways at school, on Facebook or through other online networking sites.
Throughout our lives, we experience a lot of challenging obstacles. These obstacles help us learn and realize what we need to appreciate. Going through the process of the obstacle may be challenging, because you feel like you’re helpless, like you can’t do anything to help get rid of the situation. What you don’t know is that it might help you have a better understanding. It may seem hard, but in the end you might just learn to appreciate life more.
It has been said that life can never be carried out and truly lived to its fullest unless there has been some sort of suffering and pain. Mistakes are to be learned from, and a hard past can only result in a stronger present. Though many might find themselves alone in their misery the truth is they are not, everyone has struggles. We all have our ups and downs, but it is how we react to them that truly matters. Life is life and no matter what, giving up on lifelong dreams and aspirations because of a few bumps in the road should never be an option.
