In observing the child and comparing with the content from the course , I have concluded that she is on average or above average when it comes to her physical, sensory, or perceptual development. I say this because when she puts on her coat or shoes like her boots she exhibits high motor activity to do the task on her own very well. She has the ability to control her behavior for a successful achievement of the task at hand. She also demonstrates handedness with showing a preference in her right hand as she is writing her name and tracing. Looking at the alternate Milestones chart on the Canadianfamily website, I can see that she is average or where she needs to be for her social development. She likes to interact with others and help.
While completing this student portfolio I had numerous chances to assess the child in their intellectual, physical and social development. One of the way that I was able to assess Jamie in her physical development was playing a game of Simon says with her and a few of her friends. This game allowed me to have Jamie complete a number of physical developmental task that were appropriate for her age for example, skipping, jumping, standing on their toes and so on. Another way that I was able to assess Jamie’s physical development was be using a checklist. I used premade list of fine and gross motor skill development for preschoolers. Though observation of Jamie on the playground as well as in gym along with the game of Simon says I was able

On Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 1500 hours I was dispatched to 119 S. Main St. for an assault in progress. Schuylkill County Communications (COUNTY) advised me it is being reported that a male is assaulting two females out in the street. COUNTY advised me that screaming and yelling can be heard in the background on the telephone.
At Gilmor, the third grade students use a computer web based math game learning system, called reflex math, that adjusts the difficulty of games to best reflect the skill level of the student. Students at Gilmor start using reflex math in third grade, so the majority of the students in our class began working with it for the first time this summer. A couple of the kids who I kidwatched are repeating 3rd grade, so they had some familiarity with the application already but had to create a new account for summer school. The program starts with the objection of fluency with basic addition and subtraction. Because students are in the liminal space between second and third grade this summer, I found the second grade standard “CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.2.OA.B.2” to be the most appropriate for this objective.
For our child observation project, we interacted with a seven year old boy named Nolan.

All children are different in their unique way. The goal of this assignment was to observe different children in an uninterrupted environment. Although all the children observed were the same age, they all acted differently during their observation. The differences in the way we react to different situations are what make us human. These differences can be explained through the theories that different psychologist have developed over the years. Some children react better to things like praise from a teacher or being able to be creative in the activities that they are participating in.

Subject “Chris” is a 7 year old middle class Caucasian male. Observation is taking place in the child’s home over the course of two separate afternoons. Chris is a friendly and well spoken child who is small for his age. Chris is the youngest child in his family and both observations take place while his siblings are home. In each case one or both parents are absent.
This paper will be about an observation to a child, and the different behaviors of the child. After watching the child I will study her physical, cognitive, and social development according to her age. That will give us an idea of how children should behave at a certain age. I will also compare the theories of some well-known theorists according to my child’s behavior.
How do you collect information about the children and their interests? You collect this by observing the children. “Observations can be overt (everyone knows they are being observed) or covert (no one knows they are being observed and the observer is concealed).” ("Data Collection Methods for Program Evaluation: Observation," 2008) Mainly you want to watch the children in their environment and then take detailed notes without being objective. You also want to have what you would like answered before doing the observations. For example based on this question we want to know what the children are interested in, so through observation we can see what they play with mostly. If they are in blocks do they may play with cars and then in home living they may be acting like they are driving in a car. This would show us that this child is interested in cars.
QP engaged Tatiana in participating in a CBT activity geared towards improving relationship with parent. QP explained to Tatiana that the activity will help her get a better understanding of how and why the relationship between parent and child appears to be different and what can be done to open the line of communication and build or repair trust. QP explained to Tatiana, that without mutual respect any relationship will be an unhappy one. QP asked Tatiana to list the things that people who respect each other does. QP explained to Tatiana that parents want to know what is going on in their child’s life; If the child keep them in the dark, they would not know when the child need their help or whether they can trust the child . QP discussed
Every now and then whenever we go out to eat all my baby wanted to do is run around since we live on a boarding school campus and we eat with other families at the dining hall. So it was easy for all the faculty kids to run around both in the dining hall and later make their way to the playground right around the corner. But whenever we go out to restaurant my baby is so friendly all he wanted to do is talk to everyone at the restaurant and make noise whenever we say quiet it only lasted for 1 minute or 2 before the whole backstage behavior begins again. For the last couple of years now we have been stocked in the backstage in our day to day life. I am hoping that as soon as he start to go to school that he will actually understand what quiet
A child is a beam of sunlight from the Infinite and Eternal, with possibilities of virtue and vice, but as yet unstained.
