In United States, the health issue related to obesity has been considered as the main health issue which is increased in recent decades (Casazza et al., 2013). The social concern of obesity is also being faced by several other industrialized countries. However, the rate of obesity in United States is highest in entire world. With the passage of time, the rate of obesity is increasing in United States. There are a number of different reasons due to which obesity is increasing in United States. Physical fitness and finance are the major reasons which are leading to the increment in obesity (Marks, 2014). Thus, there are a number of people who are confronting with medical complications due to obesity. Physical activity and proper diet are the effective and useful ways for preventing as well as reducing the occurrence of obesity from the society. Such people who participate in eating healthy foods and in regular exercise, they are capable of gaining personal benefits which are associated with their health (Tompson et al., 2012). There are several obese Americans who are not focusing on this social concern and they are not making any actions in order to reduce their obesity.
