It’s an animal and plant world! Animals and plants have to rely on each other to survive where they live. Without plants, animals wouldn't have food and animals would probably die out, also without animals like bees wouldn’t be able to pollinate the flowers. Plants and animals help each other every single day. For example a mouse can go up to an oak tree and take a fallen acorn, in a way the oak tree is helping the tiny mouse gather food or, fatten up for the winter so the mouse can survive through the winter or the night. According to source #3 “A hawk swoops down looking for a mouse meal. In a way, the oak tree help the hawk find it’s food.” Addition to that owls in the desert live up in cactuses so when it rains in the
Wood field club is situated in Florida, Boca Raton. It is one type of resort cum club. Wood field’s resort style club has a magnificent grounds and it is located in central location in the community, which gives easy access for everyone.
Plants and animals are very important to human life. Plants and animals developed natural forms
The question I want answered is : What type of wood does best in a pinewood race between Oak, Pine, and Maple?
On the outside, Mr.LaChance may not look like a gardener, but on the inside you’ll be surprised on what you will learn from him. Mr.LaChance is the garden club co- founder with Ms. Maraglio and Mr.Gonsalves, who puts their heart and soul into gardening for the children who are looking to give back to nature. Mr.LaChance gave us great, interesting information, facts, and background knowledge. He says “When you breath in the air plants give us, we say thank you, and when we breath out we say a gift for you”. Mr.LaChance says, "Without our relationship with plants, animals don't exist. Plants give us oxygen with which we break down food and get its energy. We give plants carbon dioxide as we breath out. They make sugar with that, water and sunlight. They make energy food with our exhale. Amazing, isn't it! Life is a dance of sunlight with the Earth. Plants get the first dance. We get our energy and Earth materials through plants. We have the second dance."
The sessile oak can grow up to a height of 20-45-meter-long with a leaf length of 6-12-centimeter long. It possesses leaves that are dark green and lobed, flowers that are monoecious, meaning both male and female are found of the same tree. The male is known by the green catkins and female, the clusters of modified leaves that resembles red flower buds.
The lives of the organisms in the desert require a substantial amount of survival skills. The temperature in a desert biome is always very high and it does not rain very often so it is also extremely dry. Any organisms that live in the desert must be able to adapt to these conditions in order to live. For example, one organism that can be found in the desert is cacti. Cacti roots are closer to the surface than other plants so it is able to drink the rain water. They also have think skins which are a protection from the heat along with the fact that its stems grow upward instead of outward protecting it from the sun (Big Site of Amazing Facts, 2013). The cactus is also an expert
The Oak Cabin was designed by Rupert McKelvie as a sustainable low-impact dwelling. The cabin combines traditional timber-frame construction methods with some modern details. Wood for the cabins is sourced from sawmills local to the site. The designer is also always on the lookout for storm-fallen trees that can be used later for internal furniture. This cabin has a traditional framework that can be build in couple days.
With purse strings tighter than ever before, more homeowners are trying their hand at DIY. However, even deceptively simple tasks can come across to the inexperienced as completely bewildering. This is particularly true with external door handles for oak doors, as the job needs to be decent, because a poor job could compromise the security of your home! The same is true, however, if your existing door handle has started to wear, so if this is the case, it might very well need replacing and here we've compiled a simple guide to persuade even the most hapless wannabe DIY experts that adding or changing external door handles is not a job you'll need to call on your local handyman to get
This was shown in my connections map about lemurs, just a lemur can affect an ecosystem in so many different ways. Lemurs are herbivores so they do not eat meat, only fruits, leaves, and spiders. But when the lemurs eat the spiders in madagascar, grasshoppers are no longer afraid of the spiders, so then that affects the productivity of our soil. There is shown mutualism because the lemur is receiving its food, and the grasshoppers are perfectly happy as they continue to help with the soil for us, which both of them are getting what they need. There are so many different ways all types of animals will affect our ecosystem, such as fossa’s are a predator of the lemur, which will then end up changing they way other animals live. Fossa’s show
Moreover, when a species could survive, it will extend the population and once when there is a numerous population, which will attract other predators more and more species would join this ecosystem, as a result of increasing the biodiversity. Additionally, it would also conserve some animals’ species which barely extinct. Because plants and trees are the producer in the food chain and also the home or life. Essentially, this means both unique plants and animals are conserved from being destroyed if they belong to each other.
Plants need sunlight they need nutrients from the ground to do photosynthesis and they need water from the rain to make food for other animals. The plants need those to survive in the wild and cannot live without any of them.Animals need shelter to live in and they need food to hunt for and water to drink from the lakes or rivers and they need air to breath in which plants give that to them. They need sunlight because if it's too cold they would die.so that is why they need sunlight to live if not there are dead.
Humans depend on plants in numerous ways. One reason we depend on plants is for consumption. Plants have the unique ability of producing their own food through a process called photosynthesis. In this process, plants are able to produce macromolecules such as carbohydrates that cannot be produced in animals or humans. In humans, the only to gain these macromolecules is to consume plant matter, or consume plant-eating animals (herbivores).
“Plants are boring.” That has been the belief of mankind for generations. Animals are obviously highly complex creatures with complex organ systems, and even more intricate organs like the brain. The animal brain is able to sense surroundings, detect eminent danger, form relationships with other animals, and recognize families. However, even without a brain, plants are capable of all this and more. For example, Parasitic plants such as the Dionaea muscipula are able to sense and trap their prey, the Mimosa pudica has the ability to sense touch and wilt, and plants like the Cuscuta Pentagona can sense volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from tomato plants to form a parasitic relationship (Biedrzycki M et al. 2010). Furthermore, some positive ways that plants exhibit communication includes kinship. As children, humans are taught to share their toys and food with their siblings. Plants it seems, have the same concept to ensure optimal growth and survival, as they act selflessly towards their relatives, share resources, and exhibit less competition and more cooperation with their kin. Plants are able to recognize fellow kin through responses to VOCs from relatives, and perform acts of altruism to kin by resource partitioning amongst siblings through root allocation (Karban R et al. 2013). The current research on plant kinship and areas of future research will be discussed, as well the controversies surrounding this subject. Despite the debate on plant kinship,
Not only does eating plants hurt animals and the plants themselves, but it destroys our planet. Most importantly, landscaping will appear horrible. There will be no more beautiful flowers because
Without plants and animals, we would not be able to survive. Oceans and rivers have provided us fishes to eat. We domesticated some wild animals to become out livestocks that provides us milk, meat, and clothing. Wild canines became our hunting partners and bodyguards. Our forests are pollinated by bats and birds, squirrels and bees. From these forests we were able to build houses for shelter and fires to keep us warm. We have also used the woods to build ships to take us across oceans, and books to write down our achievements. Wild animals have their own value, and own reason for existing. Even after what these animals have given us, they are at risk of vanishing because of us. They have helped us immensely but we are starting to take advantage of this. These animals have thoughts and emotions that we try to ignore. Animals deserve to be treated with respect and care because they are caring and has given a lot to the people around them and this world.
