I agree with you on this scenario. Kelly has the years of experience that Jody does not. Sending Kelly to get certified would not only benefit the company she works for but would also give her job security. This type of decision is very hard because this was once a field where there was no certification required and it was day to day learning that made the job possible. I believe that with the ever changing health care system it is going to be a mandate that almost all positions dealing with medical records are going to require some type of certification or degree due to the HIPPA laws.

1) When adding to the two numbers, this child started at hundreds place, the added the digits together without taking into account their value given by the place. The child then added the digits together for all numbers, but was able to understanding that the sum of each value should be “stacked” and added together. Although the child didn’t understand that a 700 was embedded within the number, the child had the number sense to know that answer wasn’t correct; the child said the answer should be 1000-something since the numbers being added were large. Once prompted by the interviewer, the child was able to apply place value understanding, but only with strong scaffolding. The child wasn’t able to independently identify the mistake and fix the tens and the ones without further prompting. The child was ale to correctly identify place value when asked, and could multiple the value times the digit to find the number (7 in the hundreds place = 700). When adding the 100s place, the child knew the answer was one thousand, but when adding the tens, the child said the answer was ten-hundred. However, at the end, the child was able to add the three
Mission-creep is when a certain organization is assigned a task and then the organization expands their agenda past the main goal of the original task. There is a desire of the organization to essentially keep going after their initial task has already been completed. An example of this is when the US Department of Agriculture wanted submachine guns for its law enforcers, for this bureaucracy does not and should not have a need for them. Another example would be when the Department of Homeland Security created fusion centers after 9/11 to monitor potential terrorist communication, but these fusions pried into other crimes aside from terrorism. Mission-creep is a potential problem for keeping bureaucracies focused because they are going beyond what is relevant when there are other things to be accomplished. Mission-creep in bureaucracies is essentially like a person who recently cut their lawn to keep it looking nice, but then in turn wanted to keep going and mow the rest of the neighborhood’s lawns as well to make the whole neighborhood look nice.
2. Every three months different workers from different departments will be selected to brainstorm ideas that would make convenience easier for our customers. Information we would gather is our forms format, how we conduct our telephone conversation, and how many sales representatives are on the floor assisting customers. Department heads will research those information and will present it in our meetings with a quick presentation reviewing what we could adjust for our customers and servicing them with a system that is effective.
There are a few weeks left of my placement at CUP and it is flying by fast especially these last couple of months. One of the reasons why it is flying by fast for me is that there are a lot of interesting events and projects happening at CUP.

The organizational framework of the project is based on the functional hierarchy of MTF’s organization (see Figure 1). Kim Rounds has been appointed to oversee the new wound care division and has her staff in place within strategic departments of the division. The functional hierarchy was determined to be the best approach because of the flexibility of the use of the staff and the expertise needed for the project. Since the project centers on the allograft process, in-depth expertise is required to ensure that all segments of the endeavor are included (Larson & Gray, 2014). Ms. Rounds and the project manager, Elizabeth Muscia will be the co-administrators of the project, reporting to Mr. Stoever, CEO/President of MTF.
The government has started the Andromeda Initiative and according to this, they are going to transport 2 million people to another planet in the Andromeda galaxy in hopes of expanding the civilization and protecting the humane genome. To be able to be a part of this initiative, the human beings would have to carry pure genetic characteristics such as no previous family illnesses, no current or potential diseases, no use of drugs or any harmful substances.
