The bullet was released from the chamber before Heath even heard the sound of the man approaching. As he spun to face his assailant, the 9mm entered just below his abdomen and he fell to the ground with his vision wavering and closing into blackness. The last voice he heard was the man saying, “I told you this would happen. This is what you get when you betray those close to you.” Hours earlier... Heath walked into the room with his three-piece suit freshly ironed and his hair combed into a neat look. He was the boss, anyway. What good was served if you looked bad in front of your employees? Heath had built his company from the ground up, starting with an old computer he had built and his parents’ garage as the workspace. He was, with the help of his now ex-best friend Trent, able to slowly grow the business into what it is now. Who would have thought that a young kid like …show more content…
“Hey, boss, where you want these papers? Spent all day on ‘em and I sure hope they aren’t going to waste.” There Trent was, waving his newly typed report in front of Heath’s face. Trent was the vice-president of the company, and the only person Heath would allow to do such a thing, but right now Heath didn’t even care. His stomach ached, and he remembered back two months when he had been shot by Shawn. According to the police reports, Shawn had wanted it to look and sound like Trent had shot Heath because of their falling out over the job. Apparently, Shawn had thought that when Heath was dead and Trent in jail, he could then take over as head of the company. Now he was sitting in jail for the next four years, thinking about what he had done. Heath had to thank him, though. Because of Shawn, Trent gave up his old grudge and he and Heath had made up and become good friends again. Trent was now the vice-president in place of Shawn, and things were going better than they ever had been. Trent was taking counseling for his anger, and was definitely one of the better employees
Jeff/Emily – I completely understand the impact of this issue to the user. We have already identified the fix for this issue and it’s available in pre-prod 2 for quite some time for UAT testing. We had received UAT sign off on below items last week but the production release was postponed because of the priority 1 production issues (twitter complaint, manage account bug)

Questions will be out of order. How does measurements of SI help with business and commerce? Companies need the exact amount and ingredients of what to put in their product. Such as a can of soda. A can of soda normally contains 12 fluid ounces. 12 fluid ounces is approximately 354 grams. These companies are using some sort of measurement system. We use something called "imperial system" where as most countries use metric system. Governments don't want confusion to be amongst them, so they only adopt on system of measurement. Why do scientists only prefer one system of measurement? I think this is simply due to them not wanting to convert all their units into a whole other dimension. Besides the fact that people are lazy. One interesting feature

Gross domestic product, GDP, is the sum of consumption, investments, government purchases, and net exports. Consumption includes services, nondurable goods, and durable goods. According to the article, “No Let-up Seen In Rent Hikes This Year,” services would increase because there would be an increase in demand for real estate agents as more people look for housing. Because “many young adults are also putting off getting married and having kids,” nondurable goods would most likely remain at the same value as there would not be a dramatic increase in population and in demand for nondurable goods. Durable goods, such as furniture, would increase as more people move into new apartments that need to be furnished. In the category of investments,
The topic of my colleague’s schema focuses on discovering the great public art pieces throughout the globe, such as the city buildings, local landmarks, and so on. Since the concept of public arts is somewhat broad, I mainly collect the data of those well-known sculptures in divergent cities. At the beginning, the process of collecting the accurate mobile survey data for someone else’s schema was quite challenging. As knowing what the founder actually wish to include in his data is the first puzzle to resolve, I searched dozens of sculptures through the world in order to filter for the best ten options. In addition, I borrowed from my own experiences to try to maximum recall the sculptures that I have seen before in different areas. However, the data itself should be more objective
The teacher first explains to the class that they will be opening their reading notebook and will be working on their book holes. She grabs her own notebook to show the student how to make the notes page for the class. She explains first to find a new blank page in the notebook and then one it is found to fold the page in half (while demonstrating) and then to fold the other side in half (while demonstrating). When one student is finished she calls on him to hold the page up and show his classmates. Then she tells the students to turn back to that blank page and write “Holes” because that is the title of the book. Then she hands out an organizer to all students that is a character characteristics chart. This chart is used to help students

On Tuesday July 21, 2015 at approximately 8:10pm, Ms. Carter called me on my cell phone and asked me, “How much longer was I going to be out on my route?” I stated to Ms. Carter that,” I didn’t know because I had two more splits left to do.” She called Mrs. Anderson on the phone and they both conferenced me in. Mrs. Anderson asked me how much longer it was going to take me. I also stated to her that, “I didn’t know.”
I have chosen project three in which I had to review several books that had a character with an exceptionality as the main character. I asked the professor if I could have the high schoolers in my English language arts class do this as part of my lesson plans and she agreed. I have formatted it in such a way that each book will have some differentiation if several students reviewed the same book. Student 1 will be a 10th grade boy with a visual impairment, Student 2 will be a 11th grade girl with a visual impairment, Student 3 will be a 9th grade girl with a visual impairment and behavior disorder, lastly, Student 4 will be 10th grade girl with a visual impairment as well as a learning disability she uses voice to text on her iPad to respond

The calendar read July 28, 2014 as I laid on a cold, hard hospital bed awaiting the results of my MRI scan. My waiting came to a sudden end when the Oncologist entered the room with a sorrowful look revealing I had stage 4A Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Lost for words, as I sat in disbelief of the news, tears began to run down my face. Oddly, my tears were not of sadness. At the time, crying just felt like the natural thing to do. My body physically reacted before my mind could even begin to process the information.
Learning all of these teaching tools that have been created to make my job as a music educator simpler has been an excellent experience. This week after working with the Soundation website and making my very own composition has excited my love for music teaching all over again. Using the midi files and the wav files and finally being able to tell the difference between the two has giving me new ideas on ways I can teach my general music classes that I have in the fall and still enjoy teaching them.
