Session 1
Session 1 was an introduction into TO 300 as a course. Walking into this class, based off the syllabus, I expected the goal of the course would be for each student to get an understanding of every relevant technology which we should have relatively decent knowledge of in the business industry. This class provided me a clear insight into the course’s purpose and the important concept of adding value through technology. The lecture goes into depth on the measurable impacts having a digitally fit mindset offers in the fourth industrial revolution era, such as the direct financial improvements to the firm overall. In being digitally fit, a firm must be able to leverage the ideas of the four principles of digital strategy,

I thought it was incredible to see the great deal of valuable data, resources, and tools we have at our disposal as students at Ross, and the way that we have the potential to create revolutionary change if we were able to adequately apply and utilize this information. After viewing this, we transitioned to talking about information systems and digital systems. I thought it was quite interesting how we were able to see the factors that build into creating a system and how its a thorough collections of individuals working to improve the business. We were able to segway into the impact these technologies are having on organizing overall. Some of the technologies we overviewed that are leading in the fourth industrial age are cloud computing, microservices, APIs and artificial intelligence. I have a general familliarity with most of these topics since I’ve tried using all of them for my own personal desires such as trying to make Twitter bots and storing my data. One of the most interesting parts of today’s lecture though, was Moore’s law. It was incredible to see how unbelievably fast technology is changing, and almost outright ridiculous that computing power is doubling every year. The discussion on the idea of teacher’s essentially acting like actors was an interesting notion, especially considering how this could revolutionize education. I personally think it's certainly something that should be tested, especially since it could make the class significantly more engaging for students. The last concept we touched upon was the funding of IT systems. I was somewhat iffy on these, and hope we can expand more on these since the funding seems incredibly

Adjustments – They are made to the patients account when it is necessary to add or subtract an amount, which is not a payment from the balance.
Two weeks ago, a brutal piece of ransomware named Petya started circulating in large number. It became quite notable as it targeted its victim exactly where it hurts: right in the startup drives. It encrypted the master boot file and made it inoperable. As a result, victims couldn’t start their computer and access their data without the decryption password.
An event log should be maintained and record any exceptional, out-of-routine security events, including intelligence and other guidelines relevant to security,
I have posted the schedule for the SLs to revise it. Mona won’t be able to attend to the Pulse Ceremony, and I already made the modification to the schedule. It is on the OneDrive.
It was smart of the ROI clerk to not abide by the request of the media, especially being overwhelmed by so many requests at one time. That seems to be time-consuming, how many patients did you have to pull? They wanted specific information which made it time-consuming for you-you had to check dates as you were going. If you just had to send all the information you had, it would have made it easier. Which do you feel was easier, the paper chart or the EHR? How do you feel you did when you pulled the requested items? I know it’s a lot of questions, I won’t get to do Release of Information because my sight does the billing along with some

Communications and Operations Management reduces the risk of failure and its consequences by ensuring the proper and secure use of information processing facilities and by developing incident response procedures. Systems Development and Maintenance prevents the loss, modification, or misuse of information in operating systems and application software. Business Continuity Management develops the organization’s capacity to react rapidly to the interruption of critical activities resulting from failures, incidents, natural disasters, or catastrophes. Compliance ensures that all laws and regulations

1. Comes standard with Office 2013 which gives one access to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Internet explorer on a mobile device.
The main point of lecture was to continue discussing about the light spectra and atoms. Specifically, we used the equations and calculated a photon of light’s energy at a certain wavelength. Also, we discussed the light spectrum and how particular wavelengths of light are absorbed by matter.
1. Right patient - This right is used to confirm that the medication is being administered to the right patient. The medical assistant would ask the patient to cite his or her full name as well as one other identifier from the patients chart, such as their date of birth, age, or address. Not including any questions that prompts yes or no responses from the patient.
tion, it also keeps children with diseases from being excluded from schools. Children 6 to 17 cannot be rejected and if the school offers services to younger or older children then they have to offer that to children with disabilities. Zero reject makes sure all children get an equal chance at an education no matter the child’s disability.
What chronic diseases do you see most often in your patients? What is the prevalence rate for the chronic disease you have identified in your practice? What illness behaviors do you see in your patients? Is this typical behavior according to your text? How do their family members react?
As we head into the future, it important for any business organization to be prepared. The evolution of business technologically is rapid, and it’s important to
