As a future teacher, it will be part of my job to increase my students’ moral reasoning. Moral reasoning deals with how individuals think about moral issues. Lawrence Kohlberg developed stages of moral reasoning which researchers use to assess an individual. According to Steinberg (2014), the adults in an adolescent’s life can impact their moral development. Therefore, as their teacher, I will conduct activities in my classroom, such as Collaborative Reasoning, Think-Pair-Share, a line activity, and an online discussion board, which will foster my students’ moral development. In addition, I will monitor my students’ growth by conducting a pre-assessment as well as a final assessment. Through my classroom activities, I expect my students to
On September 11, 2015, I was pulled over and accused of going 76mph on a road where the speed limit was 45mph. At first I was in shock because I was unaware that my driving was so recklessly, however, that same day one of my tires was found to be flat resulting in a trip to Tire Kingdom to purchase a new tire. When I arrived, a few of the mechanics on duty commented on the size of my tires. They informed me that the rims that were on my car at the time, and had been on my car since before I bought it, were nineteen inches long and the rims designed for my car are supposed to be fifteen inches long. They then went on to explain that due to the size of the tires versus the size of the car, my speedometer was actually displaying my speed to be
The two parts in this assignment will contribute equally to your grade and will be evaluated separately.
In 2013 I got a call from a friend asking if I could stop by and examine his computer. When I arrived there was a message covering his monitor saying, “Department of Justice: Your computer has been suspended on the grounds of the violation of the law in the United States.” After doing some research, I found his computer was infected by the money-pak virus. The scam asked the user to pay 300 dollars to unlock their computer; and, free them of any crime the message stated the user had commit. I believe the culprit was an e-mail attachment that one of his family members downloaded and then opened. I found a fix online by searching for “Department of Justice Money-Pak”, and applied it by running safe-mode with networking on his windows system,
My age and gender: I am a male who just turned 15 in July 2015.
I made one other staff application before on a server called PowerCraft. I was fortunate enough (and lucky enough) to actually come through. The staff application format over at PowerCraft's website was similar to the format on this

Before beginning of this quarter, I had no formal education on the topic of love or cinema studies which made this course seem the most intriguing. This was a completely new topic to me. Through the many assignments and group discussions, I have a much greater understanding of the world of film and understanding love in east Asian countries. With the help of my peers reviewing my assignments and providing a different perspective on my essays, I have honed my abilities in writing and thorough film analysis.
I face a number of unusual personal expenses that make it difficult for my family to contribute to the cost of my education. Unfortunately, I along with my two other siblings and mother have been diagnosed with a variety of autoimmune diseases. I have been diagnosed with Type One Juvenile Diabetes, my middle sister has been diagnosed Vitiligo, my youngest sister has a form of Uveitis, and my mother has been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. In order to treat our respective diseases we need to take the prescribed medications that are each very costly and do not have a generic brand available on the pharmaceutical market. The treatment of my, my siblings, and mother’s collective diseases is financially heavy on our family, and it makes it
For this assignment, I began logging my media usage on September 3th thru September 5th. Over the course of those two days, I used my laptop computer (online and off online), my android mobile device, television, and social media outlets. The most challenging aspect of this assignment was actually documenting the “spare of the moment” social media usage that occurred when I was walking to class or waiting on a meeting. However, it was truly an eye opening assignment that displayed how the media is not only a part of my everyday life, it consumes my life.
What study tips described in the text can you incorporate into your study efforts? (SQ3R) Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review. I prioritize each upcoming exam and the supporting materials, including the assigned chapters. I take advantage of the instructor’s office hours and asking, “which material is most important for me to learn?” If that information wasn’t communicated in class hours. Also, I have completed the practice questions/test and I read the summary at the end of the chapter. I Incorporated index cards to help me understand and remember the chapter’s glossary terms. If I use these tips, I usually do well on my exams.
While sitting at my desk in a classroom overflowing with colorful decorations, my 1st grade classmates and I were taught how to add and subtract. At that moment, I had no idea that numbers would soon become one of the biggest factors in my life. Before I knew it, my journey as a number on a sheet of paper began. From third grade to my senior year of high school, I have been tested in every way, shape, and form and compared to kids all around the country. My test scores decided if I was able to move on to the next grade, what classes I took, and will soon factor into what college I will be attending. Those numbers have seemingly been the determinant in how successful I have been academically and how successful I am expected to be. Numbers even
A couple days after I was born, my family learned that something was different about me. When the doctor performed the routine examination to assess my health, he discovered that I did not respond to loud noises. Usually, a baby would cry, but this was not the case for me. Eventually, I was diagnosed with hearing loss.
