Nora knew what needed to be done. Cassius was dead, “the king of the Drathiens” and his younger brother had gone missing leaving their throne empty. Now it was time to end this gruesome war. The gods had won, which is what she had predicted, but they could not let another uprising as terrible as that to ever happen again. The entire Drathien species needed to be wiped out. Though she dare not say that out loud. Her sister Zinnia sat on the throne beside her being awfully quiet which was unlike her. Her black hair fell in loose waves around her shoulders. Her big brown eyes stared at nothing in a daze. She kept biting at her perfectly shaped lips, and could not keep herself from shaking. The war had taken it's toll on her, and she looked absolutely exhausted. The rest of her siblings argued about what now needed to be done. “We could kill all the males and take the rest as slaves.” Nodin proposed with a sly smile. His dark hair was combed back, and he looked at Zinnia with his cruel black eyes. She cast a glare at him. “No that's not right.” Kato interjected before Nora could. Bodaway looked like he was raging a war in his mind. His bright red eyes …show more content…
They wiped out half of the lands population!” He said. “You bastard! You want to kill my children?” She screamed the tears started falling down. “No! No! I forbid it!” Nora stood from her throne and looked at her sister. “You know it must be done. It must be done or it will happen again. I'm so sorry sister.” “I won't let you kill them!” She threatened. Her brown eyes taking on a wild madness. “They tried to kill us all! Is that what you want? Our whole family dead?” Bodaway yelled back at her. Zinnia fell to her throne against its armrest and buried her face in her arms. She started to sob, her body shaking with every struggling breath. Kato looked at Nora. She could see the apprehension on his face. None of them wanted to hurt their sister, but did they have any other
“I heard what you said, fool. Wherever this assassin is, I want you and an army of twenty other guards to hunt him down. Do whatever you can.” Her voice was not delicate anymore, as anger rose from her.
“Ender looked at the others coldly. “You might be having some idea of ganging up on me …. But just remember what I do to people who try to hurt me.”
“ I-I-I am so sorry, I also have family issues.” She said with a sad look on her face “My father was in charge of Auschwitz and he let my little brother Bruno die in a concentration camp…” she was cut off by the noise of dogs barking .
“You’re telling me that you’re giving up. There is no one else that has a greater chance to cure my son besides you. You must do something!” She shouted.
“You cannot do this for your plan would throw everything off balance and cause so many issues for anyone to handle!” Chionothyella yells at him,
Normally, taking over the world was something big to start. However, the group that she joined said that they would not be doing this by themselves. Nora, Kira, and Jonas were one group out of many. They were put together for reasons unknown to them, but the leaders claimed that they would find out soon enough.
I believe Nora’s crime should be justified; however, only between the two families it concerns for there are more at stake than one may realize such as her family fortune and respect.
However, Nora soon learns of Krogstad’s discovery of her forgery. She then recognizes that she cannot continue to conceal her past with a clear conscience. As a result, she never plays hide-and-seek with the children again, and, as a result, symbolically recognizes the fact that she “can’t be together with them as much as [she] was” (1031, original). She
"You granted Eleanor the will to choose. And now, like a plague, she spreads it to those innocents. To be self aware is a curse, Delta... You are damning them."
He asks her, “Miserable creature--what have you done? (175). He doesn’t recognize her explanation. He is just worried about his reputation. “Now you have destroyed all my happiness (175). That shows that he just worried about his honour and his future. On the other hand, Nora’s reaction after all is very brave. Even though living a independent life is very difficult, specially for women, she still decides to leave Torvald. Besides her braveness, she is also very kind. Although Nora haven’t seen Mrs. Linde for a long time, Nora still helps her without hesitation by influencing her husband to give her one position in the bank. If she didn’t help Mrs. Linde, she would not replace Krogstad’s position, and Krogstad would not blackmail her. In addition, Nora is very innocent. when she is blackmailed by Krogstad, she wants to ask Dr. Rank for help. However, when she finds out that he loves her, she decides to not ask for his help anyone. She doesn’t want to cheap on her husband because she really loves her him. After all, Nora is a good wife and mother.
Another key development in Nora’s crisis is her previous connotations of men. Because Nora’s mother was never present in her upbringing, her father doted on her every need and treated her like his “little doll”. Similarly, in her present marriage, Nora’s husband Torvald refers to her as his “little songbird”, and feels that she shouldn’t be expected to have any care, opinion, or worry in the world.
As characters such as Dr. Rank and Krogstad appear, the audience may notice Nora’s conformity completely disappear. She acts entirely different and strays away from her “childish” behaviors around them. Nora makes the internal decision to forge the letter for Krogstad to reserve the secret from Torvald. As additional conflicts begin to appear Nora even questions her marriage with Torvald.
