“It was the biggest mistake I will ever make”; “I remember every single moment”; “I killed my baby”; “You can pray and hope that you can move past it; however, that deep, deep regret inside of you, NEVER lets you rest!” These are just a handful of quotes from women who have experienced the horror and trauma of having an abortion. Not only does abortion damage a women physically and emotionally, legal abortions are damaging our population economically and physically. Abortions are the most horrific legal action that is allowed to take place in our modern society.
The word abortion comes from the Latin word “abortus” which means to disappear/miscarry. Abortion is defined as “The deliberate termination of a human pregnancy”, and is legal in most parts of the world including New Zealand. The main point people make when asked about abortion (whether they are for or against the legal killing of babies), is that it’s better for the baby to be aborted then live in an unstable family environment. This is an interesting point however, it is simply ridiculous to think that a baby will not be able to find a good home when adoption exists. In the US alone there were nearly 1,000,000 abortions carried out legally in 2014 alone (926,240 to be precise). Also in 2014, there were 1.5million families seeking to adopt a child who did not receive one. How can people say that the child would be better off dead when there are loving families out there who are seeking to adopt a child? If there
