The schools above are ones I have chosen to apply not only for the attendance, but for the Navy ROTC scholarship because the resources I have at school and by word of mouth provide me with more information about them. The resources I have had lead me to indicate that these schools have what I pursue in my career with the United States Marine Corps. Attending these schools on the west coast of California would allow me to become more familiar with the environment I would have the chance to be based in if stationed in the United States an officer. Being familiar with the area would give me the chance to focus more on developing leadership skills with those who I plan to lead by example. It is my goal to be able to take people from my community
The military has always been an integral part of U.S. history. It dates back to 1775, even before the Declaration of Independence. The United States Armed forces currently has five branches of service; Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard. This essay seeks to take a closer look at the United States Army and the United States Navy, which are the two largest branches. A comparison of their history, mission and the transition of its members back to civilian life will shed some light on how similar but different these two branches are. Although the overall goal of all branches of the Armed Forces is to protect the United States of America’s borders and interests, each branch has a unique history and specific mission in accomplishing this.
All I can do is stare at the clock. Since 7:20 in the morning I’ve been waiting for the bell to ring at 2:20 in the afternoon. I know I go to one of the top nationally ranked schools, Coral Reef High School, but wow, I am sure eager to finish up my junior year. This summer is going to be different; I’m going to complete my internship at the South Florida Educational Federal Credit Union (SFEFCU). In Coral Reef you have to be part of a magnet program, I’m in business and very well known in the academy. Most people see my face at events, meetings, and around the business hallways doing my job as Vice President for the business club: Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). Everyone expects more from an FBLA officer, which made me so proud to be an intern at the SFEFCU. They only accept 16 out of 300 business students and each intern has to pass three tests, and two interviews- very prestigious. The bell finally rang and now I’m free to summer.

U.S veterans former, and current have fought or are fighting and have died in battle serving this wonderful country. More former veterans than ever are coming back disabled either mentally or physically. There are hundreds of disabled veteran foundations in the United States today, but a lot are a fraud. Everybody who has not served should donate a good amount of money of these foundations and not be worried about the foundations keeping it or giving it to someone else who shouldn’t receive it. We owe our lives to these men and women. Like Elmer Davis once said, ¨Our nation is the land of the brave because it is the home of the brave¨ (Elmer.). More Veterans are coming back disabled than ever before. To see the disgusted and sad faces on these families of these heroes who can’t live the way they used to is extremely depressing, You should

As a non-profit organization, our company has been profoundly doing well in helping raise money for families. Being with an organization which is committed to providing assistance to families in impoverished towns is very generous. Although, there is a concern I would like to address regarding using certain data we are using in our annual reports. The company uses pie charts to display data and prefers one type of pie chart over the other. I feel that we should use the pie chart which demonstrates the percentages.
