I am very grateful to be given the opportunity to apply for the National Honor Society. I have wanted to be in National Honor Society for many years and now I have the chance to potentially associate myself with the prestigious organization. I hope that I will be able to be able to further expand the impression the National Honor Society has had in our society. I believe that I have been able to receive this honor because I have worked hard to get to where I am today.
The National Honor Society looks for candidates that have outstanding scholarly attributes. I believe I have this quality. I have tried to excel in all my classes and I started back in kindergarten. In the past, I have been commemorated for my scholarly efforts. For much of my time in school, I have

I am the oldest of six children and this has helped me develop the skill. I frequently take charge at home and direct my siblings to complete tasks. When I was 11, I was given the good fortune of being the Patrol Leader of my Boy Scout troop. I was in charge of setting up, starting the troop meetings with a welcome and the pledge, and leading the other scouts on campouts and troop outings. While attending a Boy Scout camp, the Patrol Leader at the time decided that he didn’t want to be in charge anymore. I took upon myself his responsibilities and did what needed to be done. I attended meetings, led troop activities, and helped our Troop Leaders. At my church, I often take charge in a portion of our service. The designated leader is hardly ever present so I step in and conduct the meeting. In 2014, I was called as the leader of a group in my church. I led my group in meetings, activities, and I helped any of the members of the group if they needed it. Last year during track season, I helped the throwing coach teach new throwers and refresh experienced throwers. Many of my peers looked to me as leader to help them learn how to do the best they
It is a great honor to be among the commendable students who are being considered for the National Honor Society. The National Honor Society is discernible for showing an interest in students with exemplary grades, great character, leadership, and service. Last year I was enrolled in a tenth grade honors language class, this year I am taking an advanced placement college course. I am enlisted in all honors classes and I strive to do the best that I can not only academically, but in all activities I participate in. I am a strenuous worker and have great character. Everything I try, I give all my effort, for example, in track I show good sportsmanship and cheer on my fellow athletes at every meet. I also show great leadership qualities.
I am very happy and honored to be a part of the students who are being considered for the National Honor Society. Since the beginning of my freshman year, I have been attempting to fulfill the requirements in order to join because I believe that this organization does great things for society, and that its role in our society today corresponds well with my personality and beliefs. Through the National Honor Society, I believe I can make the most of my efforts to help others by developing the skills I already have and also explore new ones so that I can help better our society. In my academic career, I believe I have shown great levels of academic achievement, leadership, character and service that would qualify to join.
To be a National Honor Society nominee for the second time is definitely a privilege. As numerous people that have failed at any point of their lives but kept on striving to accomplish their goals have showed me, perseverance is the key to success. Today, I am certain that my nomination represents a great opportunity for me to try harder in order to achieve one of the greatest recognitions for high school students. National Honor Society members are outstanding students who portray a role model for others by demonstrating their strengths in different fields such as scholarship, character, leadership, and service.
I believe that I am qualified for the distinguished National Junior Honor Society. I have exhibited great leadership, citizenship, character and service both in and out of school. The National Junior Honor Society is a highly reputable organization that I would be honored to be a part of. I have maintained mostly A’s for my entire academic career. I was on the honor roll for all my 6th grade year and now working on maintaining my grades in 7th grade.
It is a great privilege and honor to be nominated for the National Honor Society. I have been looking forward and working hard since I saw my sister being inducted. I can not only bring leadership skills but commendable character to this organization, it would be a honor to be part of the National Honor Society and represent the Sinton High School Chapter. I take my academic studies serious because I know my hard work will pay off. I’ve learned to prioritize my responsibilities and juggle academics with outside activities like sports and showing livestock.
Being selected from a numerous amount of students to be chosen by a further application process is not something rare in my high school career. It is an honor to even be considered once again to apply a second time. I have obtained a vast amount of knowledge since last year when I applied to the National Honor Society. Service, leadership, and character are not typical traits found in all students in this generation. But I firmly believe that I am one of those few students who possess the characteristics that define a National Honor Society student.
Joining the National Honors Society has always been a goal and dream of mine. In the classroom, community , and sports I have always showed exemplary effort to be successful and be the best person i can be. To have this opportunity to be have been recommended to the National Honors program is something i have strived for years; years filled with academic and athletic success that was resulted by my character, leadership, and perseverance. Ever since elementary school, I have always exceeded the limit to go above and beyond on every assignment or class I do. In my previous year of high school, I took all Pre-ap and AP classes and still got a 4.14 GPA.
Being chosen to be a candidate for a membership for the National Honor Society is such an honor to me. It shows that I have worked hard in all aspects of my life to show leadership, success, excellence and service, despite the many challenges I have faced along the way. It also proves to myself that I have worked hard to maintain my grades in ninth, tenth, and some of eleventh grade while maintaining a part time job, and volunteering at a barn in my hometown.
National Honor Society My acceptance into the National Honor Society is one that I am exceptionally proud of. I was inducted into the society in 11th grade and will continue to be a member throughout my senior year. Those inducted meet the standards of the four pillars which are scholarship, leadership, service, and character. I have worked extremely hard in my studies throughout my four years of high school and feel that it is right to be recognized. It is nice to be surrounded by like-minded individuals and those who are determined to achieve greatness.
I have shown leadership many times while working in a group project or in an activity. I assign parts of the project to others and myself and share my ideas in the group. I try my very best to include everyone and try to incorporate their brilliant ideas in the project or activity as well. I make sure that everyone has a contribution
I am deeply honored to be among the exemplary students who are being considered for the National Honor Society. I must admit that this is something that I have been looking forward to since the beginning of my high school career. I believe that this organization does great things in society and that I can play a part in furthering the impression that is made. I like to think that I deserve this honor and this chance because I have worked very hard to get here.
It is an honor to be chosen as a candidate for membership in the National Honor Society. Academics, leadership skills, service abilities, and character are four principal parts of a superior student. I believe that I am inclusive of all these aspects needed to become a part of this prestigious group. Becoming a member of this organization is important to me, because it will help me get into an excellent college and push me to work harder in school.
I am deeply honored to be recognized as an eligible candidate for the National Honors Society. After learning about the National Honor Society, and what the organization represented, I knew it was something I wanted to participate in. This organization works hard to better educational opportunities for students across the nation, and that is something I would like to play a part in to further the outstanding reputation of the NHS. I believe that this is an opportunity I deserve due to my recognizable hard work. I am aware that the NHS is known for recognizing students with outstanding grades and commendable characteristics, which is something I believe I have obtained throughout my years of hard work.
I was not the oldest nor the one with the most experience but I was the one my teammates liked to come to talk to, listened to, and believed in. I put a bond in our team that we did not have in the beginning. We weren’t a team when we started but by the time the season was over we were like siblings, I know a part of this was because of my leadership and how I drove us to believe in each other and support each other. I referred to my sibling earlier of how I enjoy children and helping guide them. I also feel this is a strong part of my leadership. I said that I had four younger siblings, with them and including their friends I think I have quite the shoes to fill in trying to lead them in the right direction with being the right role model. I think this is one of the biggest parts of leadership if not the biggest. I have to help the future by showing them the right way to handle and deal with things in life.
An example of one of my leadership roles was on the first day of class. I was chosen to lead in a group communication. We were presented with an assignment on characteristics of group communication. The assignment involved factors and behavior that contributed to our group. We determined that communication was the most important factor. The skills the group had to establish were a common goal, working together in small groups, and synergy. See Chapter 1. Another example of a leadership role was on the discussion panel project. The project was very challenging and labor intensive. We learned how technology and computer-mediated technology effect communication. See Chapter 15.
