Ishaan MEMORY MAP It started at a normal day of school and 8 hours after I live in a new city completely confused. Hi, I’m Ishaan I live in Frisco TX, but I haven’t always lived in Frisco.I used to live in Allen TX with my mom ,dad , and my little brother. Our move to Frisco from Allen was in 2014 at the end of November.I was a confused 3rd grader that one day and that is what I’m going to tell you about: that time when I moved and how surprising it was for me. It was a normal day of school, but at the end of the day my teacher made me take my stuff home and so I came home and opened the door and what I saw I will always remember,I yelled “What, where is everything!” “We are moving my mom replied”. .It was our whole entire house packed up in boxes. The house was the emptiest I’ve ever seen it, I was so shocked. When my parents were looking at houses I thought they were looking for no reason(I was in 3rd grade, so I wasn’t the smartest). When they said they found the house I thought they were kidding and until that day I always did. So when I came home one day I was the most horrified 3rd grader on the planet. …show more content…
That night I went to sleep thinking “What am I going to do tomorrow at school?” When I woke up the next morning it was time to go to school, I got ready and my mom drove for my first day at my new school.I walked into the school to my classroom, I was the most confused I’ve ever been in my life and then I entered my 3rd grade
The book Ishmael, which was written by Daniel Quinn, is an adventure for the human mind and for society as a whole. Throughout the book Quinn explores many factual scientific principals, but the intent of the book is not to give one a lecture on science. The intentions of Quinn are to discuss and examine the beginnings and also the history of our ecologically dominating culture in which we live in. In this book, Ishmael is a telepathic, highly educated gorilla who explores with his fifth pupil the stories of the Takers and the Leavers. The Takers is a society in which man has freed himself from living day to day, through this wondering if he will be able to find food tomorrow. Takers believe that through technology they can
On the first day I was happy and ready to start my day. When I got my schedule I was lost. I didn’t know where to go. One of the staff members had to help me get to my class. I was hoping that I have a class with some of my friends that I knew since elementary school. When I came in. I saw my friend, I was so happy. I hurried up and sat in my seat before the bell rang.
When I had just finished middle school, I was so excited to start High School. I had made a lot of friends, and couldn't wait to start a new chapter in our lives. The summer of 2012 was amazing, I had done a lot, and band camp was at the end of the summer, that is what I am looking forward to the most. Not to mention all of my friends are in band, and I enjoy band ever since I joined in 6th grade. A week before band camp, I went out and getting all of my snacks, and checking off the list item by item, well I was not my mother was. As the days went by it was two nights before I was going to head up to Jacksons Mill in Weston, West Virginia when my life changed forever.
I came home from school just like any other day. It was around the end of the fourth grade and I was very exited for summer to be here! I noticed an unusual box sitting in the corner of the room but I paid it no attention as a rambled on to my mom, what I thought was a sectaculer day! Later my dad called my sister and I to the kitchen table to talk. The first thing that crossed my mind was, “oh Lord, what have we done now?” Instead, my dad pointed at the box in the corner. He told us to go look inside and tell him if we recognized where the things were from. As I look down into the box, I recognize the pictures of my family and the past fathers day gifts my sister or I had given my dad over the years that he always had sitting on his desk at
That first day of school that morning was filled with nerves, and heading into the school year. I was ready as usual and as soon as the bus came, waved to my parents as usual. The bus ride
The days of my life, in 6th grade, in school , I have no friends. Most of my friends don’t remember. Then one early Friday morning, I was happy, because I get to go on the weekends and relax, but I had to go through the bad stuff. When the supervisors open the doors, I got ran over by the kids. Then, kids at breakfast kept on taking my food to play basketball by throwing the food in the trash cans. Then my teacher for ELA and Social Studies move me to a new seat.
It is the first day of school, well it is for me because it’s my fourth day in the United States. Many of the students in the first grade classroom have been in class for a couple months. A teacher tries to make me feel better of the new surroundings, I have to face the school cafeteria for the first time and I make a lifelong friend. The two first experiences in school were tough, but I made a true friend on the fourth day in the country.
On a warm and sunny day my mom and I pack the last of our things from our now old house. At the time we were living in a 2 story condo in Issaquah. We had been living here for many years, but our landlord had come back from Africa and gave us a week's notice that he was moving into our house. Forcing us to try and find a house in a HURRY!!!!Luckily my mom was able to find a house that was about 20 minutes away from our home in Issaquah. This house wasn't a normal sized house that we found. It was gigantic. Over 4,000 square feet, 6 stories and tons of rooms. It had the biggest backyard that leads into a beautiful forest, it kind of reminded you of being in a fairy forest. But even though it was in a huge gated community there was still something off about it. The house itself reminded you of a horror movie ,
I went to school, except this time with a funny feeling, knowing this was the last time I would ever see any of them. All my friends and other family, I wouldn’t be seeing for a long time. Then the day came. We all woke up early that morning. My mom helped me and my brothers pack our bags and get ready for the flight. As a family we made our way to the airport with a drive that felt like it took a million years. Finally, we reached the airports and I was ready to collapse in a seat and go right to sleep.
It was a sunny day and there was a nice sap smell in the air and I was heading towards the bus stop. My friends, Brise and Conner were waiting at the buss stop and I went up to them and we started talking about random stuff and then we got on the bus. and headed towards the school and we arrived and i saw that i was wearing a leather jacket and blue jeans and my hair was combed back with jell. Then I walked into the school and I went to my math class and the homework was easy because it was on how to turn a fraction into a decimal
I awoke one morning, and I was getting ready for school. When I was done getting ready for school,my mom made eggs for breakfast. I started to eat a egg, and my dad was reading the newspaper. Then he told me that the forecast was gonna be cloudy. I started to walk to school with my friends.
I had woken up one cold winter morning, with the light in my eyes like a jackboots’ flashlight glaring down at me, and the dreadful smell of the horse stable. Looking over to where Misha had slept, I had expected him to be sound asleep, but Misha wasn’t there. I figured that Misha was out surprising shops owners and stealing their food, for whoever he visited in his spare time.
I woke up to an alarm that my aunt had set the day before. Got ready in the fastest speed possible and went downstairs. I got down just as my aunt served breakfast, I ate it quickly and got on her the car. I was terrified. She dropped me off at a building with"St. Charles Junior High" written in bold large letters. I walked in and went to the office. I asked where I was supposed to go after they asked me for my name.
I was seven years old, playing on my chalk board in my room when my dad came in and told me he had a surprise for me outside. Baffled and excited as to what it could be I wasted no time and ran outside. Was it an animal? A toy jeep? Or even a bicycle maybe? I had no idea.
Jan told my sister that the new group, the Dance Boys, was at the mall.
