Nantucket Nectars
Tom Scott and Tom First started Allserve, a floating convenience store serving boats in the Nantucket Harbour during their summer holidays in college. After graduation, during the winter of 1990, First recreated a peach fruit juice drink that he came across in Spain and started a side business selling fresh juice. Everyone loved the product and they went on to open the Allserve General Store on Nantucket's Straight Wharf. They named the fruit juice "Nantucket Nectars".

SWOT Analysis
Strength
Nantucket Nectars' numerous strengths have led to their success. They produce all natural products that have a great taste, have a very strong management team as well as a strong branding, guerilla marketing skills, possess the ability to exploit small, rapidly changing market opportunities, last good access to single-serve distribution in the New Age beverage market, and is the best vehicle for juice companies to expand into the juice cocktail category without risking their own brand equity. In addition, Nantucket Nectars' management team has the required knowledge and experience with the single-serve business and thus has the ability to add value to large player who wants to roll out new single-serve products.
Weakness
As a company with limited financial resources, Nantucket Nectars have been disadvantaged in their channels of distribution. They have not been able to distribute their products in the supermarket on a large scale. As can be seen from tables D and E, although most of the New Age beverages were sold in the supermarkets (55%), the proportion of Nantucket Nectars supermarket sales was only 1%. Nantucket Nectars distributed their products mainly through other channels like delis and educational institutions and is thus missing out on a large portion of the consumers pie This inevitably means that the company would be able to increase their revenue substantially if they were able to distribute their products in the
First, the strengths are that the overall design, “the creation of the smoothie and juice names, and distribution, was done with multiple stores as the goal.” (Pg. 2) This business model differentiates them from the competition because instead of offering the same flavors, juice names, design, and distribution to all of the locations it is determined by a section of stores rather than the entire market. This tactic allows their business model to be targeted for a specific demographic depending on the external environment.
The Flowers By Alice Walker Written in the 1970's The Flowers is set in the deep south of America and is about Myop, a small 10-year old African American girl who explores the grounds in which she lives. Walker explores how Myop reacts in different situations. She writes from a third person perspective of Myop's exploration. In the first two paragraph Walker clearly emphasises Myop's purity and young innocence.

Chobani is a greatly successful company based in New York, where their Founder Hamdi Ulukaya moved to when he came to the states from Turkey (Chobani History 2016). Chobani is a company known for having the best Greek yogurt in the United States. Chobani prides themselves on having a high quality yogurt that is incomparable with any other brand of yogurt out on the market. This dedication the quality is what sets Chobani above everybody else is directly causing their positive business growth. By the end of 2015 Chobani’s revenue was at “$1.5 billion where their competitors were at $250 million” (Giammona 2015). What differentiates Chobani between its competitors is its dedication to the quality and the fact that the Chobani Greek yogurt is healthier than that of Dannon and in any other competitors brings as they use all natural ingredients on where others may have antibiotics and other unhealthy byproducts in their yogurt which can be poorer for health of the consumer. With Chobani’s small staff of 2000 employees and their solo headquarters and different type of product manufacturing, Chobani makes a huge difference in less mechanical and robotic form of creating the yogurt that those of the competitor’s process to creating quality within the product. How can someone pursue a personal desire if they spent their life trying to conform? Alden Nowlan’s short story, “The Glass Roses” explores this through the protagonist, Stephen. Stephen’s personal desire to feel accepted conflicts with his feeling of having to become like the pulp cutters because he is not mentally or physically ready to fit in with grown men. This results in Chris finding a way to become his own person. Stephen’s journey to pursue his personal desire is shown through setting, character development, and symbolism.

“The Flowers” by Alice Walker is a short story written in the 1970’s. The story focuses on Myop, a ten year old African American girl who loves to explore the land in which she lives. Carefree and naïve, Myop decides to travel further away from her ‘Sharecropper cabin’ and travels deep inside the woods to unfamiliar land where she discovers the decomposed body of an African American man. It is then Myop quickly grows up and suddenly becomes aware of the world in which she lives. The story relies on setting and symbolism to convey the theme of departing innocence.
The story "Flowers for Algernon", by Daniel Keyes, that we read in English was about a mentally retarded person, named Charlie who had an operation to increase his intelligence, but the operation was a failure and Charlie is slow again. He wants to move now so society won’t ridicule him for being slow again. Daniel Keyes wrote this short story for good reasons.
