It's not easy to replace a legend. Ask Brock Osweiler, the backup quarterback for the Denver Broncos, behind Peyton Manning for the last three-and-one-half years. The former Arizona State quarterback has waited while Manning has continued to set records, become the all-time leader in yards passing, beating the record of Brett Favre, of 71,838, and set the record for the most touchdown passes, 509. He has also led his team to the playoffs every year and a Super Bowl loss. Does Osweiler have what it takes to replace Manning when he retires, or can't come back from injury? Time will tell, but he will start his first NFL game on Sunday, November 22, against the Chicago Bears, for the injured Manning.

Manning's accomplishments are legendary. They include the most yards passing in a season, 5,477, the single season record for touchdown passes, 55, and most seasons passing for more than 4,000 yards, 13.
